701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 23, 2024, 05:46:20 AM
Doing gambling regularly is not efficient in terms of chances of winning, let's say you lose in a row for 3 days you spend $200, on the fourth day you win $190 which we think is big without us realizing the capital we spend to win
Obviously, there's no way that any person thinks that regular play equates to a regular or consistent win, sometimes it's just losses or better yet it's most of the time. The reason why we think that is because we're too focused on the now and not on the bigger picture which is being able to realize that we're not really winning anything at all unless we experience a really big win.
702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Roller Coaster feeling When You Gambling on: January 23, 2024, 05:19:45 AM
An hour before going to a casino?
Feeling relaxed, excited, anxious and a little sad at the back of my mind because I know for myself that it's a repeating pattern again and that I'm going to be frustrated after all this gambling is over.

After logging in and pulling out the games you are about to play?
Excited because it should be my time to sort of "relaxed" but we know that's not the whole truth.

While playing?
A switch between elation and anger but it's mostly anger but it's small bursts so if I'm not 100% in the game, I don't notice it myself.

After you experience successive losses?
Angry and frustrated and I always look for someone to blame when it's just myself to blame.

After you won successively?
Definitely feeling great but this feeling is short-lived as I don't really cash out since I don't win big amounts anyway.

After you log out whether you win or lose?
A relief but at the same time wanting more but I need to chill out to make sure I'm not going overboard with my habit.
703  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 Bitcoin Accepted Store Spotted 🔥 on: January 22, 2024, 10:07:28 AM
~
706  Economy / Services / Re: I do have winning casino crypto formula with 200% profit per month, any interest? on: January 22, 2024, 07:25:44 AM
You've found an infinite money glitch but you're too lazy to use it?
That's what "benevolent" people do, they share the wealth to others so we can all get richer doing that.

Hey OP, make sure that you're scam is a bit believable next time so people won't easily call you out and at least try harder to make an account that don't raise any suspicions, it's weird to see newbies that promote businesses that requires big money, we need to see a reputation to back up your stuff but you're too lazy to do that since you're a scammer so good luck.

708  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2024-01-18] Peter Schiff Predicts Bitcoin Bloodbath — Expects SEC Chair ... on: January 21, 2024, 09:38:43 AM
Peter Schiff will prefer something bad for bitcoin and nothing more than that. He has not said anything good about bitcoin before. This is not something that we should be surprised of. That is Peter Schiff.

He is not having bitcoin and also not knowing about bitcoin. He does not even know what mempool is I guess. Because if he knows what mempool is, he will not talk like this.
That's because he probably wants to buy bitcoin at a lower price, probably one of those people that are nostalgic of the time when bitcoin was still manageable to buy with your monthly wages in bulk and he's got the influence to make the market doubt bitcoin so it sways at a way that makes us panic a bit. I'm sure that he knows about bitcoin and he's probably the kind of guy that doesn't show all of his cards until needed. To be honest, I do hope that he's right and that bitcoin will experience some short term turmoil that will make the price go down even lower to get myself a healthy value when I purchase bitcoin.
709  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New world order or CBDC against cryptocurrencies on: January 21, 2024, 08:50:56 AM
Wow, I had no idea of the cash crisis in Nigeria, forcing these people to succumb to a CBDC it must be awful to have to do that. The IMF needed guinea pigs and I guess they got their wish here. Crypto will always remain safe haven to CBDCs and FIAT
As @jackg has said, they need to incentivize the use of CBDC and I also would like to add to that the fact that if you create a crisis then make it so that you're making your people narrow their choices to bad for them but good to you and worse for them but the best for you, they'll choose most likely the lesser of all the evil. It's been a year since this topic but it seems that some of the horrors for the Nigerians are still persisting to the point that they have no choice but to succumb to the IMF's manufactured craze for CBDC. Can't believe that they're still justifying the use of this when it's just a stable coin but much worse because there's control from the government involved, the lifting on the ban hopefully creates something new for Nigeria though, they've got the potential to be rich if they just allow crypto to flourish there.
710  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tougher EU Money Laundering Rules Target Crypto on: January 21, 2024, 07:52:14 AM
As if this will work, money laundering will only be thwarted if the operation isn't protected by someone on the top brass of a government or an institution so the fact that they're doing this is pretty much useless because there's no way that targeting crypto with their laws is going to stop big amounts of illicit money from being laundered so in my opinion, this is just a show that they're against the interest of the people, that they only care about themselves and they don't like the idea of sharing the money laundering pie.

So they will create new institutions that could intervene whenever a suspicious transaction has been made, but the response from the country where it takes place is slow, they could forcibly take over the checking process. How could they monitor the transactions though? Do EU countries share transaction data in real time? Or anytime a transaction worth more than 1k Euro is being made, every member will get notified? The limit sounds really low, might as well assume every time you make a crypto transaction you are on their watch list for whatever reason. Then again, you already give your data if you use a crypto service like exchange (which is probably the target for this) in the first place CMIIW.
That's the essence of what they're doing but we all know how this institution is going to be tangled with red tape and bureaucracy that they're probably not going to be able to do anything that can prevent this money laundering operations. I doubt that they'll be doing any sharing of data, aren't EU countries not too trusting of the other members in the union?
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin an opportunity like land on: January 21, 2024, 06:55:12 AM
In a way, you're correct that in terms of demand, the land and bitcoin are the same, it's both growing everyday and it's the fact that it's not going to go down in prices anytime soon. I totally agree that we can use the current opportunity to invest as much as we can because it's only going to go up in the future despite the talks of volatility and uncertainty in the market prices, bitcoin for the long term could make someone rich if they just invest and trust the process which is the same with land except that land is growing much faster in value every year so you're lucky to have both of them.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto remove the 21 million BTC limit? on: January 21, 2024, 05:45:57 AM
Jamie Dimon will never stop yapping about stuff that don't make sense, they're so used to the fact that the Federal Reserve can always just print more banknotes whenever they want that they think that it's the same thing for bitcoin. This reminded me of that one meme, I do remember it and I think that it fits perfectly with the discussion.

713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Denying yourself comfortability in other to buy Bitcoin on: January 21, 2024, 04:59:15 AM
That's probably the truth, it's because men are most of the time not that materialistic when it comes to having a living quarters; a room that's got a pillow, futon, and some form of entertainment system would be enough to make a man's life as simple as we want it to be, I wouldn't say that I would be denying myself some form of comfortability, I'd rather be poorly invested in bitcoin but have a really good night sleep and no aching body parts due to poor posture than be fully invested but my joints ache because I tightened my belt even for the most basic stuff like the one that I've mentioned.
714  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CRYPTO SCAM? on: January 21, 2024, 03:17:31 AM
It’s a scam site and everything was already planned from the beginning, you did nothing wrong for them to ask for your KYC and their is no money laundry policy that was being broken by you this is just pure scam and a means for the scammer or group of scammer to scam you the more from what you have already deposited to them.

Were you will know that this is a scam is for them to ask you to make deposit when they are already holding down your fund in there system, it’s pure scam report them to any authority that you can that the best you can do and never send anything to them again as you will never get it back. Sorry for your loss.
And this will be a double kill for OP if he/she provided the necessary identification to verify that OP isn't involve in any kind of money laundering operation, crypto and identity stolen is going to be really scary and frustrating for OP because that means they can use your identity to falsify some stuff and make it look like it's your fault. This is the right thing to do, reporting it to the authorities because it's definitely a big deal that's going to ruin someone, that stolen money isn't that big of a deal anymore when you let this stuff go until you see "yourself" committing frauds in other countries, report this to the authorities OP please, one of the reasons why these scammers aren't apprehended is because there's not a lot of people that are complaining or filing a report about them, it's about time that they somehow feel the playing field being leveled.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My dream business succeeded on: January 20, 2024, 06:50:32 AM
~
I guess the OP didn't keep his records accurately or the property might be his father's own. There is no way one could pay rent, furnish the bar and stock it with drinks with such an amount. The bar looks more expensive than the money OP claimed was used to set it up. However nothing is impossible, maybe he did most of the work at a cheap rate.
What's the currency that OP is using though because if it's USD it's probably more than enough to set up a small fully furnished bar, and there's also the factor that the 2 million that was given to OP by her father is probably enough and that the price of furnishing and buying a place to set up a bar is probably not that costly, there's also the possibility that OP's father's influence might've done some work to smoothen some of the processes to build the bar.
716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain could change our future even in elections? on: January 20, 2024, 06:09:02 AM
It can definitely change the future of election but not the system of how we do election. Blockchain will only upgrade or elevate what the current voting system but not the system itself, it's a good way to prevent the cheating of the votes and the tampering or the addition of zombie or flying voters to the ballots thus preventing the undeserving and corrupt candidates to have a fighting chance and the vote will be fair and square. Hopefully though, it's not just the machines that we use for voting changes though, I believe that we also need to change the way we vote because in most countries, it's more on the popularity and less on merits that the candidate have, the populist way is a fighting chance for the irresponsible candidates to take on the office and waste the public funds.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin surpasses silver to become second largest ETF commodity in the US on: January 20, 2024, 04:29:33 AM
Competing with Gold is definitely hard, but possible. One milestone has been beaten, the next is on the way!
Gold's already below bitcoin when it comes to prices so that's a milestone that's been beaten a long time ago. What bitcoin needs to do next is get to the 2nd if not the 1st place of the highest stock price in history, bitcoin if treated like a stock is currently at 3rd place with the 4th place lagging at a really large difference, come one dream bigger than that, bitcoin is the greatest investment in the making in my opinion, I don't know if anyone's called bitcoin that but I believe that it's going to be that when it topples the Berkshire Hathaway stock price in the future.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it bother you when dealers change during play? on: January 20, 2024, 03:35:20 AM
At first I was bothered but it's all the same, I would only be bothered if I know that the dealer that's changed isn't accommodating, friendly, or the worst one, cheats. You can easily tell them if they're trying to cheat their players, they've got their ways and sometimes they're bad at hiding their intentions. As long as they don't fit in the descriptions that I've said, the change of dealers won't be a bother or a problem to me. I also love when I can troll some of the dealers and they fight back or even quit because they're tired of the trolling.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: January 20, 2024, 02:47:37 AM
If we are talking about Ngannou here, he has only 1 fight as a pro-boxer, but I do agree that he might have been robbed against Fury. Maybe everyone is on the bag as they don't want to derail Usyk vs Fury fight as a lot is on the line. But in this fight, if Ngannou is no longer just a hype job, he could really push Joshua to the limit here. Joshua has been mentality broken in Ruiz and Usyk fight. And if by chance Ngannou's hit his mark on Joshua's chin, this fight will end early. And Francis as well show that he had a good gas tank, so if the fight goes to distance, he can still upset Joshua as Anthony's gas tank is suspected as well and in the Usyk second fight, we have seen him getting tired in the championship rounds.
You don't know what you're talking about when it comes to the power of Ngannou, there's no doubt that he's going to kill everyone that he's punching if he does punch with all of his might. Have you seen the videos where Joe Rogan and Dana White vouched for his strength? That alone should be enough to make you believe that Ngannou will demolish Joshua in this fight, the derail part of that isn't the reason for the loss, it's the corrupt boxing federation that's creating this problem, the deserving don't win and the favorite gets the favors of the judges and Ngannou's no hype job, he can deliver what people are telling others about him.

Here's one of the times that Rogan talked about Ngannou's punching power

I'm really sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, but I can't provide the help that you need. It's important to talk to someone who can, though, such as a professional or a trusted person in your life.
You're right, no one here can help OP with the plight that he's got, no matter how much caring or empathetic we are in real life, sending our thoughts and prayers to OP for his depression and addiction isn't going to magically do him any good, and the only thing that we can do is to listen and not criticize this person, venting about frustrations online can help OP even just a little so a message to OP, if you're reading this, you can always vent out what you want to say here on the forum, it's completely anonymous as long as no revealing details or such is included in your post and follow the advice of the other members, for you to take action and seek help, that includes help from family and loved ones and a professional one.
