301  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Warning Scam] Okbet casino sobrang hassle on: May 23, 2024, 01:47:56 AM
302  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are online/crypto casinos the most profitable digital business? on: May 22, 2024, 11:51:45 PM
I think so too because most of the time, you don't even need to put in a lot of effort like what other online businesses do with their business, you can pay small ads in Google for your website promotion and you just watch people trickle in, trying this new website that's basically a barebone or generic type of gambling website and you'd still see profit, you don't even need to put in a lot of effort, do you think that Amazon would grow to this point if Bezos put the same effort you put in a gambling business? I don't think so.
303  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: May 22, 2024, 11:10:47 PM
~
That's normal in boxing, but if Haney wants to regain himself even without a rematch with Ryan, he should continue to fight and move up and win championships. That fight was a non title fight but people sees how good Ryan in that fight, and of course, Haney has to make sure that he'll bounce back big and should start moving on. I know it might give him a little mental problem because he was undefeated prior to that fight, but that's normal in boxing, he has to accept the reality that he isn't undefeated anymore but he is not done yet.
I can totally agree with that one, I don't think it's even a good thing for Haney to dwell too much in the past when it comes to things like this because it's not healthy and it would probably mess up his game for a long time if he continues to be this kind of fighter, someone that's too focused on what's happening in the past which is an impractical thing in my opinion. I hope that there's really a bounce back for this man, even if I don't find their match that entertaining, I still wish them all the good luck that they get big in the boxing scene, I know how difficult it is to cut weight and train for hours on end so I want those kind of people to get some wins out of their life and in their chosen passion.
304  Economy / Gambling / Re: More revelations on the challenges of physical casinos on: May 22, 2024, 10:52:54 AM
That issue isn't a case for most physical casino, I think that there's been an involvement of corruption in this specific case or there's been a lapse of judgment or negligence on the management side of the casino because this can never be allowed in most casinos, it's difficult to claim or falsely claim a win because there's measures in place that would be placed to make sure that this won't happen, I think that there's a possibility that the person can also sue for the negligence of the casino besides that one where he already won the money, that's going to be a scandal for the casino if the person escalates things.
305  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamblex - Bitcoin Entropy Betting System on: May 22, 2024, 07:38:55 AM
Nobody making a bet is a proof that bettors in Gambling ate low IQ.
That's not how you will get more people to get to invest in your gambling scheme and even if does make sense and it's totally "safe", berating them isn't really in your best interest, it's a really awesome concept though but your attitude to your potential people, you might see something different.
306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Runes are now worthless and have killed Ordinals too on: May 22, 2024, 07:06:08 AM
Finally, it was a matter of time before they become worthless, it's in our best interest that this has finally happened, I don't even think that runes have ever contributed anything to bitcoin besides the congestion of the network, hopefully we get to see more normal transaction fees and reasonable transaction fees now that runes are basically worthless. I still thank those people that have wasted their bitcoin though, some of them are doing something for the market of bitcoin so they still get some high five from me.
307  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terry Crews Out! Chael Sonnen vs Anderson Silva this June 15 on: May 22, 2024, 05:38:20 AM
I guess Crews isn't ready for this kind of thing and even if he's the wholesome and well-built dude that I think he is, he isn't really a fighting dude in my opinion, as they say right? Not all muscles can be of help in fighting. Really good that they put in another fighter for this match though and it's probably a good thing too given that with this kind of match, it's a bit of a reset for bandwagon sports fans to see a pure fighter match instead of a celebrity match up. Haven't seen much of Sonnen before and given the record with Silva, I'm not yet sure it's a good time to put money on his name.
308  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Looking to transition career into the Bitcoin industry on: May 22, 2024, 04:49:03 AM
Good luck to your endeavors and I think that you're going to be just fine with it, switching to crypto is fairly easy in my opinion, you already got the experience for this kind of thing already, pretty sure that you'll never have a hard time adjusting, maybe because it's tech that the fast pace speed of the industry would be new to you but other than that, you will be just fine. Who knows, this might be your biggest break just yet.
309  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust bitcoin holders? on: May 22, 2024, 03:06:19 AM
I mean most of us want the same thing in terms of financial stuff, we want liberation from the oppression of the conventional financial institutions and fintechs that only serve the few rich people in this world, bitcoin's proven already that it can change the life of someone that's on the brink of poverty to someone that would be able to bless others with their wealth, not to mention that the taxation, it doesn't seem fair that everything that I spend my money on, I always have to impart something to the government, there's no incentives for them to properly or appropriately spend the taxpayers' money after all so why risk it giving a lot of taxes to them when I know it will be wasted on them, might as well make the most out of it right?
310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are banks against cryptocurrency? on: May 22, 2024, 02:31:28 AM
Because they don't have any control over it and they see cryptocurrency as something that doesn't have any backing that would justify their value, they all think that it's a scam that's laid for them because they want to make sure that they would be the sucker that would buy the magic internet money and end up with nothing to their name and we all know that banks don't like that idea of being a sucker so they spread FUD about cryptocurrency, sure there are some that are genuinely telling people that there are a lot of scammers out there in cryptocurrency space but there's more banks that doesn't want you to use cryptocurrency and instead voluntary enslave yourself to them.

Another reason that I can think of is the fact that banks want to always get the best deals and less risk investment and it just so happens that most cryptocurrency isn't like that and so they don't like that, after all, they're playing with the money of their clients and they can't afford the sudden changes in the value that they're currently holding if they ever consider buying cryptocurrency.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If this is doable what will you add or remove? on: May 22, 2024, 01:39:55 AM
High transaction fees. I am not sure how exactly but I would want to reduce or remove high transaction fees because this is one of the major issues that is killing Bitcoin. Users want to transact smaller value but it is very unfortunate that they can’t. Which is why other blockchains are loud about having low transaction fee. If Bitcoin fees were low, the number of users will greatly multiply.
I think that everyone's going to want the same thing for bitcoin, I mean the fact that everyone can benefit from it is probably the best thing that can happen to bitcoin, no doubts about this one. Another thing that will probably be of big help if I was a developer, I would deal with the speed of transactions, that means that faster confirmations and more transaction would be done in a short time. I can see why you think that it's going to be faster when the fees are lower, I mean people don't really like taxes at all and fees are working like that so lowering them kind of makes it look like you're lowering the taxes.
312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to maximize winning potential and control excessive gambling habits on: May 21, 2024, 12:17:38 PM
The whole wall of text that you have written which can be tiresome for some members to read can be summed up as follows- a proper bank roll management will keep you from irresponsible gambling that can spiral into other areas of your life and make you a miserable person. Misery can come from the loss of your relationship because of your unhealthy gambling habits and activities. If you lose money, can get it back but it more painful when you lose the trust of your significant others in your life because of your irresponsible gambling.
This is a good TLDR for this post and if you read it and this one, they're not that different so basically what OP is saying is basically true and it's not really that difficult to point out the fact that those can happen as you gamble, I mean that's how it works right? Actions have consequence plus bankroll management isn't that difficult to do if you've got the discipline to do so, if you don't got the discipline to manage how your money goes in gambling then you shouldn't gamble at all.
313  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How has big wins and jackpot stories affected your gambling habit? on: May 21, 2024, 08:11:47 AM
It didn't affect me really, I mean that's on them, they're a lucky person to win that much money and I know for a fact that I'm not going to be able to win that because gambling is a really risky and heavily favors only the people that are on the other side that's facilitating the gambling, even if you try and lie to yourself, it will always be the same, the odds won't change no matter and that's why it didn't my gambling habit in any way, I guess the mentality that gambling is only for entertainment has taken a root in me that I don't care about winning anymore aand that I should just let things be.
314  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Religion. Beliefs or Choices? on: May 21, 2024, 07:01:39 AM
Never had a conflict whatsoever, I'm not a religious person so I'm not all for it or fanatic about what my "religion" says is taboo or wrong to do, that's not for them to decide with how I liive or die. Once you get used to not following everything that your religion says to a T, you would finally be able to live a life of freedom and happiness, use your scriptures to guide you on a moral path not as the driving force in your life, that should come within you so if you're gambling and you feel that at the back of your head someone's telling you to not do that and that it's a sin or something, remember that there are priests out there that made a vow of chastity that are raping and molesting children, my point is if the servants of the religion that you're in can commit such grave sins, who are you to be pure for that religion?
315  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is boxing the worst sport to bet on? on: May 21, 2024, 06:19:25 AM
I would say it's somewhat a bad sport to bet on given how bad the current boxing federation is and how corrupt they are, it's really difficult for me to say that it's not the worst sport to put your money in. It's still a 50/50 odds per matches at the most simple terms but with the bad match up and possibility of a fixed matches, there's a possibility that you're bet is for naught unless you've got an insider for that match that would help you out to decide which fighter would you put your money into.

Also, given the current popularity of mixed martial tournaments like UFC and ONE, it's definitely one of the bad sports that you can bet your money into.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi Network Token is to be listed in Binance Soon. on: May 21, 2024, 05:03:36 AM
Pi Network is mined out of thin air so I don't think that it will ever have a value, the only reason that people are still hodling these tokens is because there are some people that believes that there's a value to it and that they're going to be able to sell it for higher price, talk about FOMO at the delusional level. There's also some traders of this token in my country that trades with Pi for stuff like groceries and phones or something like that, this is a really weird situation and I don't think that Binance will ever list Pi, also it's already proven to that it's a scam.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: It's better to invest now than to regret it in a hospital bed. on: May 21, 2024, 04:23:25 AM
I don't see any hole in that logic, you really need to put some passive income in your life because if you just rely on your own hard work at your job, you would probably have a hard time finding the money when you're finally retired, you will not be able to do the things that you wanted to do when you lack the money for retirement and the fact that you've got no investment means that you'll have a hard time having fun while you're still young because the money will always be tight and when it becomes like that, you will end up burning out eventually. It's a difficult decision to do investments but you've got to understand that there's going to be a lot of times that the upside of investment is way too many to pass up but I can understand why some wouldn't consider investing, after all if you can barely survive with your paycheck, you'd probably not have any time to invest into anything.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying Vs Renting a Home- Which is the right move? on: May 21, 2024, 02:34:19 AM
Buying is the best move, renting isn't going to get you anywhere, I mean what happens to that apartment or house that you're renting when you're out of job or you don't have a job anymore or you're retired? Pretty sure that the landlord wouldn't really mind evicting you out of the apartment, it's probably for the same reason that you'd want to struggle with paying for your own house rather than renting because then you'd own something that yours and at the end of the day, you will be thankful that you did struggle because you will leave something behind for your kids if you've got any, what matters in terms of shelter is the permanence.
319  Economy / Speculation / Re: Donate $100 the day bitcoin hits $100k. on: May 21, 2024, 01:49:19 AM
I'd very much like a donation drive funded by bitcoin/crypto people once BTC hits $100k, but without all those complications you mentioned. Just one or a few reputable people(a multisig, perhaps) setting up a BTC donation account for everyone to donate to is great enough.

We really just need a compelling name that could go trending on X/Twitter.
Really difficult to pull it off given how there's a lot of people that have done this before in the forum and there were times that it was a hit but the times that it missed, people on the forum got a bit more scared and skeptic of charities that will be created from this, it's a conundrum and it's in conflict with what I believe when it comes to charity here in the forum but I'm in agreement with you about this one, much better if it's organized and I really don't like the concept of fake kindness anyway where you're forced to give to people just because you care that it celebrates a certain bitcoin price milestones.
320  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin breaks 2021 ATH and hits $71k! on: May 21, 2024, 01:15:34 AM
As of last week ending, Bitcoin showed signs of getting back to the range of $66-67k and with how rapid the movement was, I hoped it would cross the 60 something figure and enter $70k. We are yet to see any heavy buying since Bitcoin's price is affected by supply and demand so maybe it can scrape that figure because as at time of writing, price is $66,363.36 and if there is no interruptions when it's starts to rise,  $70k will not be difficult to achieve.
We might see some more than that if the trend continues but in my opinion, I think that a price correction for bitcoin is due to happen and I do hope it happens soon because I do think that a lot of people are trying to get into the market but the value of bitcoin is just too high for them be getting in so they just get by with DCA which isn't bad but it's not optimal. I think that this month it will go to $70k+.
