801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power Of Bitcoin on: January 03, 2024, 04:15:40 AM
Perhaps it is a story that never ends in the short term, you have to love bitcoin at any price and with any story, right?
Anyway, OP, the power of Bitcoin is in the trust of user, so, that is, why the first bitcoiners deserve the benefit of the best profit.
I agree, the first ones to trust bitcoin should be the first ones to get rewarded, there's no way that it's going to be the other way around with bitcoin where the pioneering investors and bitcoin enthusiasts get the short end of the stick when something big happens to bitcoin.

I still believe in the power of bitcoin but I think that it's not yet enough to sway governments to the point where they're not making any kind of influence on it like what happened in Argentina with their new president, right now here in my country, the influence isn't that strong so they can easily bully the population that's involved in cryptocurrency.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: BitcoinETF approval will possibly cause much bigger jump than most people expect on: January 03, 2024, 03:54:13 AM
Man, I just hope that this big price pump we're talking about is going to happen before the SEC in my country bans Binance so I can quickly evacuate my investments into a safe wallet or maybe to an another exchange that's not yet on the radar of SEC. I'm sure my target price is likely to happen so here's to hoping that I get to see that and take profit before the drastic change in how many of us here in the country uses Binance.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2024, 11:20:25 AM
Firstly, you must understand that by entrusting the creation of a wallet to another person, you are entrusting him with ownership of your wallet. Since you are a beginner, you probably don’t know that the seed phrase that is created when creating a wallet is important, and it is this that needs to be kept away from other eyes. But by helping, your friend can keep it for themselves.
Therefore, investing in Bitcoin is of course always good, but do not be hasty; take the time to learn some points about creating a wallet and buying Bitcoin yourself. And also read not only bright success stories from investing in Bitcoin but also stories of people losing them. And how can you protect yourself from this.
Once OP knows this, I think it's safe to say that it's the worst thing that OP can do because you don't know how some people's minds work, some might be trustworthy and those trustworthy people are too few and hard to find. It's actually nice that you've added that they should also read about loses because I do think that's the best way to learn about mistakes that you might not afford to make.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: January 02, 2024, 10:35:39 AM
No you can't, sure there are people out there that's making consistent money in gambling but they're at the lower percentage of the population so I don't think you can make a job out of it maybe this is one of what they call a dream job because it's a dream for many but not everyone can get it. And it shouldn't even be your thing that you strive to have when you're gambling, you need to know that you're there to have a good time and take your chance not bet your whole life on it.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Buying More Tickets To Increase Your chances on: January 02, 2024, 10:04:21 AM
Not really, to really make your chances higher and your win more likely to happen, you'd have to buy a lot of tickets and you got to spend a lot of time and mental power to cover all the potential combinations and if you look up the chances of winning in lottery based off of number combinations, you'd just be so crazy to do even just covering the 25% of it. Just take the 1 in billion chance to win instead of 5 because you're spending more when it's not likely the win will be yours.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there play and pay later casinos? on: January 02, 2024, 09:40:47 AM
I've never seen such but I do know that people like using their debit cards to gamble and they end up in huge debt that they may never end up paying, that's why using debit cards to gamble in some countries got banned.

There is no casinos that allow gamblers to gamble and pay later, they knew that it's not good for business, some gamblers who end up in debt borrowed money from close relatives or friends, and they don't always pay back.

Ask yourself, if you build a casino will you allow people to play on debt? You know it will be very bad for your business, in a short period of time you will end up closing the casino down, due to lots of debt.
I'm kind of weirded out by this question, I don't even think that it's logical for a casino to do that kind of stuff maybe if they're also running a loan business on the side then they can probably do just that or if the casino is the illegal kind of casino that does loansharking then you can say that yes there's casinos that are doing what you're asking. It's not really bad for a casino to do that because if they approach and deal with it correctly, they can double or even triple their profit from their patrons.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 02, 2024, 09:02:33 AM
To be honest, that kind of question shouldn't even have been uttered, imagine the amount of people that have been enjoying their gambling experience for a really long time and then this question popped up out of nowhere and now they don't know if they're genuine about their experience. To me though, I do think that if someone's faking their fun with gambling, they would feel it and the people around them would feel it so we don't have to be too in depth about all this stuff.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and health concern on: January 02, 2024, 08:10:01 AM
It's good to hear that you're conscious of your health. Regular check-ups are indeed essential for overall well-being. Is there any specific health aspect or concern you would like to discuss or inquire about?
Regular check ups are not a must have if you're in the 20 to 40 age range because you're still at the peak of health if you know yourself that you're eating well and all then you're doing just fine. As long as you're active and you're eating a variety of food and you don't eat a lot of junk food then you're going to be fine. What happened to OP's friend is not that common but it's still a wake up call to everyone of us to take care of ourselves.

Do you think we should avoid sugar altogether or just moderation?
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 02, 2024, 06:25:16 AM
Lol if you want to follow religion to the last tenets of it, it doesn't support gambling whether for the intent of fun or whatever, because it was demonstrated in the synagogue when Jesus Christ chased some gamblers away and scattering their gambling materials even though it was in the church but it shows it is not a virtue for those known with the religion. And this is the case also of Muslim religion . A man that upholds his religious faith try to stay away from gambling.
My guy, they're not gamblers that Jesus chased away, they were merchants I think. Also, there's nothing really wrong with gambling in my opinion when it comes to religious beliefs, sure they prohibit or outright disagree with it but if the interests of gambling industry and religious sects align like when there's donations or something like that, they're really lenient on it. I mean look at Muslim countries, they still got lottery in there even though gambling is illegal for their religion.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's Your Feeling After You Finish Gambling. on: January 02, 2024, 05:55:24 AM
I don't play for a really long time so I must say that I don't feel too much exhaustion but I do feel happy most of the time even if I lose money. I was once irritated whenever I end my sessions but then I got to the point that I ask why I'm mad when I put myself in this position and I don't enjoy the game when I do this so I started learning to be happy no matter what happens when I gamble.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In The Span Of six months what will make you trust a new casino on: December 31, 2023, 03:00:22 PM
Them launching a signature or review campaign here is already taking care of the other questions.

No complaints or scam accusations? If they launch a campaign here that means that they're trusted and that they've got the reputation to vouch for their casino.

Very responsive representative here? Having a signature campaign means that they need to have a responsible representative in the forum since questions and issues are needed to be asked and addressed.

Good reviews from casino review sites? Launching a campaign here is a good thing for them because that means they've got the money to back up their reputation and most casinos with big budget are pretty good places to do gambling and in turn good services and with those good services come good reviews.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be play with care on: December 31, 2023, 11:17:47 AM
That's easy to do when you're early on in the gamble but when you're so entranced to it right now, it's going to be a different thing for you because you're having fun and sometimes you go overboard because you can't think straight when you're having fun so even if people take that advice to heart, it's definitely a hard thing to do maybe if we're aware about doing it and we do it continuously, maybe we can do the gamble with care consistently.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 31, 2023, 09:21:27 AM
Every body knows that. That gambling is all about luck and probability. So we can predict the outcome any time you place or stake your funds for gambling all you be  wishing for is for your luck to not runs out. Because most time hitting a good Jackpot take alot of lucks. So after hitting such jackpot to hit another will be hard, back to your question yes gambling is all about luck. That why you are advice to always gamble responsibly.
That's not how luck works dude, you can hit another win after another if possible because probability works not like a queue where the more you play, that you'll eventually hit a win. I can't really explain how luck works but it's definitely not how many think of us works but in my opinion it's not really any of our business because luck is always out of our control so we just have to play and let it do it's unexplainable magic.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 31, 2023, 07:07:40 AM
Preventive measures and reducing the risk of losing money when gambling is a must for gamblers. Unfortunately, many gamblers don't pay attention to this because they want to win and instead use more and more money to gamble. They don't win but lose, making them even more frustrated because they can't win the gambling game. Gambling provides great temptation to all gamblers, and only wise gamblers can avoid this temptation and gamble comfortably because they don't think too much about winning. They can make decisions to avoid gambling when they don't feel like gambling.
In the case of the man that OP has mentioned, there's no way that's going to make a dent to his gambling problem because he's still gambling and at the same time he's still gambling right and it's much worse because he's also limited when it comes to wins which means it's all losses for him.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich, average or poor. Who loses more? on: December 31, 2023, 06:16:46 AM
Loses more has nothing to do with our financial condition, all of us can lose more regardless how is our financial condition. It is more about how we control our gambling activity, if we lose our control then no matter how rich we are, we can be poor later. The topic you are referring to is just an opinion from the poster based on something that he knows himself. I think there is no specific official study that evaluate about who get more losses between rich, average and poor. I'm an average person, I cant say that I lose more and I also cant say that I win more. Gambling is all about luck, sometime we win and some other time we lose. However, the house has bigger advantage than the player so it is quite normal if we lose more often than win.
It has something to do with that my guy because depending on your wealth, the gambling losses you'll feel will be significant, say Person A is rich and his networth is 1000 and his gambling loss is 100, he probably won't feel it because he's still have 900 while Person B is middle-class and his networth is 500 and he lost the same, he will definitely feel the damage because he's only got 400 left, Person C is the poorest and he's only got 150 and he lost 100 in gambling, he's going to suffer the most because he basically lost a huge chunk of his wealth. My point is that your financial standing is a factor to how heavy the losses is, just so happens that we compare it by raw numbers and not percentage.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can I dodge KYC using the his medium. on: December 30, 2023, 08:06:17 AM
Wouldn't the casino be recording how much you're withdrawing? And even if you try that they would know right and then they will be notified plus I assume you're going to do it consis which means they're going to see you having a pattern of how you withdraw which might make them suspicious of your account as someone that's doing something illegal. Are you ready for the potential headaches that would come with this plan because you're going be spending so much time with this plan.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do Owners of betting companies bet? on: December 30, 2023, 07:38:16 AM
well, this is what most gamblers out there are afraid of when betting at the poker table but all the gamblers dont know that one of the gamblers is the casino owner and this makes a bad thought if other gamblers find out while the gambling owner always wins even though not cheating, but still the minds of gamblers will think that the casino owner is cheating.

therefore, it is very rare for me to see gambling owners gambling in their own casinos because on the one hand, casino owners maintain the reputation of their casinos and avoid the danger of crimes that could threaten them because gambling owners have a lot of money. on the one hand, sometimes gambling addicts can go crazy and commit crimes against casino owners.
so it would actually be better if the casino owner did not participate in betting in his own casino rather than his reputation being damaged and becoming a very bad conflict in the long run.
They really can do that but I don't think that casino owners will ever cheat their customers/players even more because they're already making money out of them anyway. And in poker, the people that knows the owner will definitely be not playing with them on the table because as you've said they might've the advantage but I just like to think that casino owners aren't like that and that they don't like the idea of taking advantage of other players when they're already making money. Also, it's a bit weird that they have the time to waste gambling or even betting at their own places.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 30, 2023, 06:59:43 AM
That's not really a question you have to ask because the only right answer to that is that no, they're not allowed to gamble because they're going to be danger to themselves and to the people around them, we all know how frustrating gambling is and imagine if you're in the shoes of that mentally unstable person, you're probably going to think that they'll take their losses even harder which will definitely happen because they're not good at handling their emotions.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A tip for staying resposible while gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 05:57:15 AM
Your tips are really good to hear but I don't think it will have any effect on those who are addicted to gambling for money. I think one of the ways to be responsible when gambling is to set a limit in the beginning when you go to gamble that you can afford to lose. Newbies who are getting into gambling should follow this rule in the beginning.  Moreover, one more thing should be remembered that the greediness is the cause of sin and sins is the cause of death.  Do not be greedy while gambling.
Can't do it consistently though, I'm pretty sure that you're going to see those people that try to limit their gambling funds go overboard because they feel that they've quit too early so they top it up again to gamble even more. Greed is a human nature that when we're self-aware then it's not going to be a problem for you, so unless you have a strong self-awareness then you're likely to get greedy and be stupid enough to go above your gambling budget.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 30, 2023, 05:35:10 AM
You're just overthinking stuff OP, you can tell someone about your wins to someone and if they're really depressed, talking to you about anything and everything is probably a good thing for them to not succumb to that disease. And also, if that's the thing that you'll talk about someone, shouldn't it be your responsibility to treat them on something to celebrate the win? That's a good way to talk about your wins without looking like you're an asshole but at the same time, don't make it a habit that the talks will only be about you and your wins, check up on them if they're really depressed.
