121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leak of Chivo Bitcoin ATMs code in Elsavador on: April 26, 2024, 01:49:21 AM
I always find it hard to understand why some hackers just leak private data of regular people, people who did nothing wrong and whose private information should be nobody's business. I mean, leaking stuff about public figures or events that are of great public interest is something I can understand, but here we're talking about leaking the whole database of users of El Salvador's state wallet (which happens to be almost all the country's population).
It does show the risks of custodial wallets, though, which can be a good talking point for advocates of self-custody. I'm sorry for those whose info got leaked.
For the fun of it of course and not to mention that if you put the lives of people that aren't part of this attack, you would have it easier to ask for your demands because believe it or not, the government cares about the well-being of their people also, it's more fun for them and makes them more powerful when they do this kind of thing to those innocent people and you never know what you're going to hit when you hack indiscriminately. There's also the fact that hackers sell these data to people that will use it for malicious stuff and the more data you've got on a lot of people, the more handsome the payment is going to be for you as a hacker.

This just gave me an idea and now I'm wondering how a lot of you guys do the merit thing, it's a really way to test out if there's going to be a bug, I can imagine someone trying those script kiddies SQL injections, I mean that would be happening right? Unless of course there's a limit to what can be the number of characters that you can put in that box. Imagine doing some equations in that, let's see what number's going to get registered.

131  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Fixed Matches on: April 21, 2024, 06:57:51 AM
I have been scammed many times for looking for fixed matches. You haven't done any business with me to be able to say I'm scamming anyone, so let everyone make their own risks and decisions.
What I read from this is that you've been scammed so many times that you want to return the favor one way or the other so you do your own scam in hopes that you can feel what the scammers felt, you got tired of being the sucker so you look for other suckers to scam.
132  Local / Pilipinas / Re: HAPPY HALVING MGA KABABAYAN! on: April 21, 2024, 05:27:16 AM

Cheesy
133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Talking about bitcoin with my voice to someone else. What should we use to talk? on: April 20, 2024, 07:44:50 AM
If you want to use your voice, maybe you can do it with a voice changer or something that would help hide your identity if you're worried about talking online or if you're not talking online, you're probably going to be doing fine just limiting the stuff that you're talking about, take for example when someone's trying to pry on how much bitcoin you've got, you can say that you've only got a small amount and then show it to them in your phone that carries that amount of bitcoins, @Maus0728's advice is the best, keeping a low profile and splitting your funds into different wallets would make you not worry that you might be talking to someone that's planning to do something malicious to you, make it natural too that you're limiting your knowledge because some people will easily catch up to that.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is celebrating about the fourth halving but what is this? on: April 20, 2024, 06:29:39 AM
What.... this is going to be disappointing if the bitcoin are not able to afford making transactions all because of this, this is now going out of hands and i just want to believe that its because of the halving with new block block reward that is causing it, maybe we should expect such to only last a day or two, then we go back to how we have been used to, provided that this is not the first experience in the likes of it, we can rather choose to hold than sending at this high cost.
This is the best thing to do, wait it out because that's the only thing that you can do and it's not like this is going to be the thing that will happen forever, I'm sure that we're going to see something done about this and also, it's not like the market's going up like crazy right now that we can't afford to sell our bitcoin because of the transaction fees, I'm sure that we'll be paying less than what's the current fee right now, just be patient. Let's give this days to the miners because they're the ones that would be affected the most by the bitcoin halving.
135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This will be my first BTC halving on: April 20, 2024, 05:49:58 AM
Actually, you are also really lucky if you realize this because now it is not too late for anyone to start realizing that Bitcoin is an asset that can bring change to everyone. So that we all don't need to be so tired of saving fiat money anymore even though every day we still have to look for fiat so we can get more Bitcoin for our respective futures. Today is the day the halving happened and we all need to see what big things will happen next for Bitcoin after a perfect month.
OP would be in a much better position now that they've invested in bitcoin finally, it will never be too late to invest, you just got an advantage right now because you've invested into bitcoin when it still at this price point, remember that the more you try to let things pass by and be a hater of bitcoin, the more you'd see yourself regretting that you didn't invest in it when it was at it's lowest price, it's never a losing battle when you invest in bitcoin, if you've got the patience and you trust the process, you'd be rewarded handsomely, no exceptions. I don't get why people haven't still invested in bitcoin back then, especially those that have doubts, when will you dispel those doubts?
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin halving is hours ago. Will you hold your BTC to April 2028? on: April 20, 2024, 04:41:06 AM
If my target price isn't met by that point or along the way towards the next halving then yes, I'm probably going to hodl my bitcoin no matter how long it might take before I can sell it at a good price but I don't think that I'll have to wait for the 5th halving before I can sell my bitcoins because I'm sure that the next price pump is going to be way past my target price and I might not know it yet.
137  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freelancers to hire: Coinlancer.net. Anyone? on: April 19, 2024, 06:41:37 AM
I have not heard about this service or used it before, from what i read in the website, they offer different services to crypto projects, you have to be certain that they are legitimate and not a scam before you pay them for anything. I just did a quick research and what i found is coinlancer.com, it looks like it is a service built on the Ethereum platform that connects freelancers to job clients in a decentralized way, take note that i have used neither of these services and this is not an endorsement for you to use it.
Knowing the crypto industry, I'm sure that this is a really difficult thing to get on board to because I'm sure that there's going to be people out there that would scam freelancers of their work so I'm not entirely sure about this one, maybe sticking to the legitimate freelancer websites would be the best course of action, just request to your employer that you're open to the option of getting paid in crypto. It's also difficult to hire here since this is a crypto freelancer website, it's most likely that there's going to be scammers on the employee side that would ask for a payment first and then not show up for work so the risk involved is just too much.
138  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Best Crypto Investment Opportunities for Passive Income -2024 on: April 19, 2024, 05:42:31 AM
Binance sucks as a way to make passive income, I've locked my bitcoins there for about 3+ years and my total profit form that hasn't even crossed the 0.0001 satoshi territory yet so it's better off just doing it in Blackjack, I'm planning to put in a thousand USDT there and hope for the best, I know it's not a lot but at the least I'm making something while I'm hodling, maybe I'd go with bitcoin but I'm still having second thoughts about that one.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in a casino's bankroll...Still worth it in 2024? on: April 19, 2024, 04:54:14 AM
Read this posts by @mindrust and you will see something decent.

Low income but long-term it could be profitable and since that gambling site has a good reputation, I doubt your Bitcoin will get stuck there or be scammed.
I don't have enough funds yet to invest in it but I am already thinking about it and am on my way to doing the same and investing with them. It's better than having joint pain in doing faucets which I have done before and that's why I know how difficult to do it just to gain a few satoshis. Plus, there are not many websites that offer faucets because the value of Bitcoin increasing every moment and there's more expectation that it will continue because of the Bitcoin halving coming near. Or was it later? (timeline difference)
I'd rather stick with this one but I have not checked yet if they have the minimum amount of time that it should stay in the investment or can it be plug and play kind of thing where you get in and can get out anytime unlike the staking process.
I'm already allocating how much I want to invest in it and so far, it's looking good, I'm quite busy with my other things in life so I can't deal with it but once I'm through, I'm going to do it, I'm bookmarking it so I don't forget to do it in case I finish what I'm doing right now. Maybe tightening the budget right now could be a possible thing to do so you don't have to worry about not putting in enough money, take it slow because I think that you can still put in more bitcoin even if you have already invested.
