Wink
你还试试使用Tether元,还可能会通过它出金
223  Other / Archival / Re: Long-term Bitcoin accumulation continues on: February 20, 2023, 09:46:38 AM
It's great that more and more people are accumulating bitcoin and not betting against it by selling/ trading it. But I still think that we will see lower prices going forward. But as I always say, DCA is the BEST tactic in any condition.
224  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin vs. Inflation on: February 20, 2023, 03:20:34 AM
it's good, but we still need to wait until FED will lower rates because economy is still in danger and something could breakdown any day now. So be carefull buying crypto right now.
225  Other / Archival / Re: What is the easiest way to explain bitcoin to a regular person? on: February 19, 2023, 12:49:15 AM
I think the best explanation is something like this:
"Bitcoin is a digital currency that allows for fast and secure online transactions without the need for a bank or other intermediary. It operates on a decentralized network called the blockchain, which is a public ledger that records all bitcoin transactions. Think of it as virtual cash that you can use to buy goods and services, with the added benefit of being able to send money to anyone in the world with just an internet connection."
I don't think there is a point in oversimplifying things, people need to learn what blockchain is and they need to learn about bitcoin.
I hope schools will start teaching about it soon.
226  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: February 18, 2023, 09:26:42 AM
The whole point of bitcoin is that you CAN and SHOULD trust it because no one can fake it. It's the most honest and transparent system in the world. Blockchain technology can even be used for voting and stuff.
227  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AVAX discussion on: February 18, 2023, 04:09:22 AM
AVAX makes a lot of claims but the only project that I’m aware of on that chain is The Gimmicks NFT collection which moved there from Solana for an unexplained reason. I actually think that MATIC is a much better coin in that space with a lot more support and partners. They’re direct competitors so I think AVAX has it’s work cut out for it.

I agree. But from what I see there is always some good news about AVAX every month or so, so it feels like it's moving somewhere. Company to ADA that almost looks dead without any new updates. So I think it's a pretty good sign.

Look at the statistics of popular ecosystems such as Ethereum that are used and compare it with the Avalanche ecosystem that grows only on market pumps. I consider Kosmos and Polkadot to be more adequate competitors. Avalanche has the potential to grow, but I don’t buy it because I don’t use it, but I don’t think it would be a mistake to buy $20 for 3-5% of the investment portfolio.

Thanks, sounds good. I think AVAX is also appealing to me because its market cap is pretty low compared to other big alts so it has growth potential.

228  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / AVAX discussion on: February 17, 2023, 10:22:22 AM
Despite believing that Altcoins are mostly high-risk investments, I think AVAX is a pretty solid one. Looking at this project I can see that it's evolving and growing so I feel like it's a good coin to buy.
But it's still an altcoin that can go to sh*t at any moment like Luna. So I want to hear your opinion crypto bros, what do you think about investing in AVAX?
229  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of holding Bitcoin in time of crisis on: February 17, 2023, 03:30:58 AM
I think the best advantage is that no matter what will happen to the currency in your country, even if there will be devaluation, you won't lose your money. And even if bitcoin will go down, it will eventually come back strong. So bitcoin is probably the safest way to hold money now.
230  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Silver and Gold on: February 16, 2023, 06:49:03 AM
Silver will perform great in the next few years and demand for it will be rising so it's a good idea to invest in it right now.
231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bad feeling like a bomb is gonna go off on: February 16, 2023, 05:00:47 AM
I agree with you. I feel the same way. Probably because the recession is still happening and rates are pretty high. And statistically, we can see that there is always a big breakdown happening after the fed pivot. So I think this time we will see it too.
232  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have always wanted to ask this about bitcoin on: February 16, 2023, 04:23:59 AM
I think it would just change the speed of adoption. New people will come at a slower pace but in general, I think the best about bitcoin is the technology. Especially right now, when governments try to control people and their money. And don't forget about unbanked people who use bitcoin because of the technology.
233  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on BUSD and other stables. on: February 15, 2023, 09:55:45 AM
You have chosen the most unfortunate time to exchange your USDT for BUSD. You obviously don't know that the Paxos Trust Company, which is the issuer of BUSD, said that it stopped issuing this stablecoin and decided to burn it at the request of the SEC.

Yes, I know about this news, that's why I asked. I never used BUSD because I think right now USDT is the best stable simply because of how many people are using it so I know how they earn money to back their coins. And even with all problems with tethers transparency it still looks better than other stables.
234  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Thoughts on BUSD and other stables. on: February 14, 2023, 10:56:27 AM
What do you guys think about BUSD? Do you think it's worth using over USDT?
What do you think about stables in general?
I saw a lot of hate towards USDT in the past years, but it seems like despite everything it's still winning over other stables and it doesn't look like it will go down soon.
I know that people see stables like something bad, but I think they are pretty useful when you trade on exchanges and some people are using them as a hedge against inflation so I don't see anything wrong in using them as long as the reserves of this stable are transparent enough.
235  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have life span? on: February 14, 2023, 03:16:35 AM
As for now, it seems like bitcoin might be timeless. It's only begun it's way to the top and someday might even become a new world currency. So I think we have a pretty good chance that bitcoin will stay with us for a really really long time. And nowadays there are no signals that bitcoin will disappear. Even if it won't become a new world currency, people still will treat it as an asset to invest in.
236  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin current price on: February 13, 2023, 04:19:22 AM
it will probably go down considering the economic crisis in the US but it's FINE. It will go up someday when rates will become lower and there will be more money that could be invested. But until then, no matter what is happening DCA is still the best strategy. Be safe, crypto bros.
237  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: February 13, 2023, 01:49:18 AM
I think it's pretty stupid to sell right now. Yes, everything will probably go even lower, but DCA is still the best tactic. So buy and hodl bros.
238  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This should be bullish for Bitcoin and it's PoW on: February 12, 2023, 02:23:34 AM
I don't like all these "bans" but you are probably right. The problem with PoS is that coins can become too centralized. Take ETH for example, after the merge people started talking about lack of decentralization of ETH and how this coin can now be manipulated by anyone who will acquire a big percentage of coins. So the fact that they prefer PoW is probably a good thing for bitcoin.
239  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Withdrawing Bitcoin off the radar on: February 12, 2023, 01:07:24 AM
Try OTC or p2p. I'm sure there would be a lot of people that want to buy your bitcoin with cash. So I think it's the best way for you.
240  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 11, 2023, 05:52:24 AM
I disagree. There are already thousands of sh*tcoins out there but because bitcoin is the best and the most unique one, everyone knows that it's better to buy it rather than altcoins. That's why all investors say that the best crypto portfolio should have >50% of btc in it.
