Me I think they are just gonna get say 45% ..go private make their own chips for data hall etc..if they had this in the works for 1 year and loaded up on LTC for this stunt
they likely made 3x the $$$ they would have sold miners at...and they keep asic boost and they slap down LTC as an example of what happens to bitcoin if they try the
same...ie proof that they will fork bitcoin if it comes to that if they can make $$$ doing so

the small fry (us) were making 500 bucks a month profit (guessing) on an L3 now...so even if difficulty doubled we'd have gotten the same on 2x the speed L3+
they have rigged the system where all that (currently 2200 or so bitmain L3+'s) now all goes to them

and if they accumulated for the last year LTC and dumped it at 10 bucks plus

why sweat the small stuff and mine for next 4 years when you can make it all at the front end at the customers (again wholesalers on down to 1 guy) expense

and you assure no one can compete pow mining with you making equip with the large over 70% market share..only game in town asic maker of btc and ltc and
you keep asic boost your 33% mining advantage too boot

f*ck they could drive pow mining to pos coin with this on both LTC and BTC and it is still a sure bet

I see no work around on this..they won....they even have cloud flare in place on their for the expected ddos attack on their sales page..you can't just toss
that up in a day..no to screw everyone in such an epic manner .this was in the works for at minimum imho months......so they can keep

I just ordered 5 of the MSI 8 GB RX580's that should be here by Friday. I have a rig already setup and ready to go with them and can post some results by then if no one else has. I didn't want to pay for next day shipping otherwise I would have had them sooner.

I think we should not be happy about being over 80% just yet. Jihan may just let the prices go as high as possible even to last day and than just take the support away leaving us with hugely pumped litecoin. However I believe that Jihan can do this for so long, we need to improve our hashrates and that will eventually pass Jihans controlled amount which will result with him being out there holding his bags.

You have to account difficulty. Some have bigger retargetting period in blocks. So it's possible that someone with large hashrate comes in-> drives up diff-> leaves. And you will get 1/20 of coins you calculated.

nice guy  he posts here once in a while.  I respect almost every one of his picks.  the fractal 1000 watt psu was not that good of a pick  every other one he made that I used was a good pick. (more then 20 psu's)

  He also mines like we do.

It is "funny" how we all have different problems. I can flash them both perfectly but the card with the monitor cable in it will only hash 8 mh/s while the other one will do 29 mh/s. If I put the monitor cable in the other gpu the results swap too. When I place my nvidia (1080) in the mobo and put the cable in that one then they all 3 mine full power... It's a frustrating process.

Bitmain as always know how to screw own customers.

Was looking for L3 but now when Jihan mining with purchased kit to block segwit on ltc and in a minute diff will go through the roof only noobs will buy that L3 and will hope to make any buck back.

I say boycot bitmain and Jihan for this dick move.

I hope customers will ask for refund and will never get back to bitmain.
