I think the best way you should start with savings, once there is enough savings then start investing in some short term and long term investments.

Investing small from the start could give you better returns in future rather than just waiting for savings.
You might save some part of your total earnings and invest some in things you prefer to turn out good investment.

For those investments that do not require large capital, you can invest right away.  But most investments need quite a capital. And if you do not have a large salary, you need to save first. Anyway, you need to do both to have a good financial status.

Well believe it or not, saving can have negative interest rates, for example there are some banks, that instead of giving you positive interest rates have negative interest rates, the banks are charging you money for the privilege of holding your hard earned money!

I can't believe that people think of Banks as a form of investment, no they are not as banks are only good for saving money or losing money from inflation. Also I would encourage for people who don't want to take risks you should go to mutual funds or money funds, they give a steady increase more than banks do ans it is much safer than the stock market.

I never said that you should invest in a bank I was just describing the fact that there are negative interest rates, besides that has never been the reason of why banks exist (except investment bank that no longer exist in U.S., I think) the reason banks were created was to safeguard the money that is all.

For me wherever you are going to save your money. To bitcoin or bank as long as you are saving then that is going to be a good thing to do and besides if you are going to keep on saving you are going have some purpose for that in the future. Right now saving the money you have is better because investing is not costing a lot in the bitcoin, due to the price that is high I do not recommend you to do that.
You should better wait on a lower price and than invest a lot of money into the bitcoin to later make some nice profits when the price is much higher!

If you compare it to other ways then I think saving them in banks is much better option, as bank is responsible for your savings and if anything goes wrong with your money then banks will be responsible to recover it.
