Corrupt FIFA Has Clinton Foundation Ties; World Cup Host Qatar Gave Millions

And just like that, another Clinton Foundation donor is in the news.

The Clinton global charity has received between $50,000 and $100,000 from soccer’s governing body and has partnered with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association on several occasions, according to donor listings on the foundation’s website.

Several top FIFA executives were arrested Wednesday in Zurich and face corruption charges stretching back two decades, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

Involvement with the embattled body extends beyond the foundation to Bill Clinton himself. The former president was an honorary chairman of the bid committee put together to promote the United States as a possible host nation for the 2018 or 2022 World Cup.

When the U.S. lost the 2022 bid to Qatar, Clinton was rumored to be so upset he shattered a mirror.

But apparently Qatar tried to make it up to him.

The Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee, partnering with the State of Qatar, “committed to utilizing its research and development for sustainable infrastructure at the 2022 FIFA World Cup to improve food security in Qatar, the Middle East, and other arid and water-stressed regions throughout the world,” according to the Clinton Foundation website.

The cost of the two-year project is not listed on the Clinton Foundation website, but the Qatar 2022 committee gave the foundation between $250,000 and $500,000 in 2014 and the State of Qatar gave between $1 million and $5 million in previous, unspecified years.

FIFA, which has never been a bastion of ethics, was heavily criticized for awarding the 2018 and 2022 World Cup to Russia and Qatar, respectively, in part because of their abysmal human-rights records.

I think running her own email server was a huge blow to trust.   Was just not normal behavior.

That being said I DO NOT think it will effect her running and winning majority of party.

It's certainly not normal.  A clear attempt to obfuscate, with the excuse it was 'more convenient than carrying two phones', which is utter bullshit.   The same phone could handle multiple incoming e-mail accounts and it's not as if she's carting her own luggage like some sherpa.  That excuse is an obvious lie, told to cover up what is an obvious obfuscation.

Nobody seems to really care, however, so she'll likely get away with it.  The left's darling must not be touched, so she can do anything, say anything and they'll turn a blind eye.  If they'll do it with this, they'll do it with anything.

Campaign fever is hitting the comic book stands. The Times’s ArtsBeat culture blog reports that Bluewater Productions is set to release “Hillary Clinton: The Road to the White House,” written by Michael L. Frizell and illustrated by Joe Paradise.

Did Clinton ask Blumenthal to look for information about Libya?

ProPublica and Gawker uncovered a secret intelligence network that was feeding unsubstantiated intelligence to Hillary’s private email server. The network included former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal who was prevented from taking a job at State in 2009 by the Obama White House. Mr. Blumenthal had circulated some “unflattering” stories about the president during the 2008 campaign.

We also know that Mrs. Clinton used two separate email addresses (hdr22@clintonemail.com and hrod17@clintonemail.com) while she was at the State Department. Clinton’s legal team asserted that the latter address did not exist during her tenure as our top diplomat. When the initial reports of the secret intelligence network came to light, we did not know if Hillary read or even corresponded with Blumenthal’s emails. Now, it looks as if she did read them, and even forwarded a few to a State Department staffer.

Last week, in Iowa, Mrs. Clinton said the Blumenthal emails were “unsolicited” (via Politico):

Clinton downplayed Blumenthal’s influence in answers to reporters’ questions this week in Iowa, describing the emails as useful to ensure that she wasn’t “caught in a bubble” with information coming only “from a certain small group of people.”

“He sent me unsolicited emails which I passed on in some instances, and I say that that’s just part of the give and take,” Clinton said Tuesday.

“I have many, many old friends and I always think that it’s important when you get into politics to have friends you had before you were in politics and to understand what’s on their minds,” she said. “And he’s been a friend of mine for a long time.”

Now, the Washington Post’s David Ignatius wrote that someone told him that Blumenthal approached a former CIA officer, Tyler Drumheller, and said to him that “his friend Clinton” was “looking for information” on Libya

Blumenthal’s missives on Libya appear to be mostly repackaged information from a former CIA officer named Tyler Drumheller , who is now part of Alphom Group, one of the many consulting firms in Washington that employ former spooks to harvest their old contacts for salable information. A principal of Alphom told me that Blumenthal had approached Drumheller and said his friend Clinton was “looking for information” about Libya.

Drumheller was named as someone who collected the intelligence and prepared the reports when the initial ProPublica/Gawker story broke. Yet, this nugget comes from one person at this consulting firm. If this is corroborated, it just added another notch regarding Clinton’s lack of transparency and secretiveness that confirms old biases people have against the Clintons. She’s turning into the most flawed of flawed candidates. Moreover, it could undercut any attempt to highlight her tenure at State. Such back-door communications have happened before, and often led to bad policy:

Michael Morell, a former deputy director of the CIA and author of “The Great War of Our Time,” says that Blumenthal’s missives never came to the attention of senior agency personnel and never got into the paper flow of the National Security Council. That’s good, given that it was the CIA’s job to report on Libya, for real.

But the Blumenthal papers were taken seriously at State. Clinton sent them on to her overworked aide, Jake Sullivan, with such notations as “Useful insight, pls circulate,” or “very interesting,” or, in one instance, “We should get this around asap.”

These memos recall other dubious back channels involving oil-rich Middle East nations. Libya snared President Jimmy Carter’s brother, Billy, as an emissary in the late-1970s. The Iran-contra scandal began in 1985 with an Iranian information peddler named Manucher Ghorbanifar, whom the CIA dubbed a “fabricator” but the White House embraced, anyway.

The danger of Washington’s courtier ethos is that it can lead to bad policy, or no policy. You can’t escape the feeling that Clinton and her aides were passing around Blumenthal’s e-mails when they should have been framing a better plan to deal with Libya’s disintegration.

We shall see what happens regarding Ignatius’ Alphom source. In the meantime, it should come to no one’s surprise that Mr. Blumenthal has been subpoenaed by the House Select Committee on Benghazi regarding these communications.  As Ed wrote earlier today, Blumenthal was also paid $10,000 per month by the Clinton Foundation while on this little mission.

Arizona State Has Doubled Tuition On Students, While Still Managing To Give $500,000 To Clinton Foundation

While Arizona State University has almost doubled its tuition over the past 10 years amid claims that it needs more state money, the school somehow had the funds to give half a million dollars to the Clinton Foundation.

According to The Arizona Republic, the public university paid $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation to host the former president-Bill Clinton; former-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton; and their daughter, Chelsea, during a Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) event in 2014. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Bill’s wife, is the current front-runner for the Democratic nomination for the 2016 presidential race.

EXCLUSIVE: 'Don't let Bill back in the White House, he abused women and he'll do it again.' Paula Jones warns against voting for Hillary - because she also lied about sex case which almost cost him presidency

She was the woman who almost brought down the president, with her allegations of sexual harassment.
But 21 years after Paula Jones accused Bill Clinton of lurid behavior, she is speaking out against Hillary and insisting that his wife is not fit to be President either - because of her husband's history of bad behavior.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail Online Jones delivers her own verdict on Hillary's bid to become president, saying that her husband's attitude towards women disqualifies Bill from re-entering the White House - while what she calls Hillary's 'lies' disqualify her from the Oval Office.
'There is no way that she did not know what was going on, that women were being abused and accosted by her husband,' she says. 'They have both lied.'
Jones, 48, became a national figure when in 1994 she sued President Clinton for sexual harassment after an incident in an Arkansas hotel room three years earlier.
Her lawsuit led to Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky being uncovered and led to Clinton being impeached, accused of lying about the nature of his relationship with the White House intern.

Clinton Foundation paid Blumenthal $10K per month while he advised on Libya

Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidant of Bill and Hillary Clinton, earned about $10,000 a month as a full-time employee of the Clinton Foundation while he was providing unsolicited intelligence on Libya to then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to multiple sources familiar with the arrangement.

Blumenthal was added to the payroll of the Clintons’ global philanthropy in 2009 — not long after advising Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign — at the behest of former president Bill Clinton, for whom he had worked in the White House, say the sources.

While Blumenthal’s foundation job focused on highlighting the legacy of Clinton’s presidency, some officials at the charity questioned his value and grumbled that his hiring was a favor from the Clintons, according to people familiar with the foundation. They say that, during a 2013 reform push, Blumenthal was moved to a consulting contract that came with a similar pay rate but without benefits — an arrangement that endured until March.

A Clinton loyalist who first earned the family’s trust as an aggressive combatant in the political battles of the 1990s, Blumenthal continues to work as a paid consultant to two groups supporting Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign — American Bridge and Media Matters — both of which are run by David Brock, a close ally of both Clinton and Blumenthal.

HILLARY’S LEADERSHIP HAS PLACED US IN GRAVE DANGER AROUND THE WORLD

On this weekends “Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace,” Republican presidential candidate and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina said Hillary Clinton’s “leadership as secretary of state has placed us in grave danger around the world.”

Fiorina said “I come from a world where titles are just titles and talk is just talk. The questions I’m raising about Hillary Clinton, I take no delight in them. I’m concerned. you know, it is entirely legitimate when someone is running for the presidency of the United States to ask whether they are being transparent, whether they are trustworthy, whether they have a track record of leadership. Hillary Clinton has demonstrated over and over she is not transparent. Her leadership as secretary of state has placed us in grave danger around the world. These are entirely legitimate questions and questions I would ask of her on the general debate stage. questions that must be asked of her because the American people need to hear her answers.”

“She and bill Clinton are the personification of what 82 percent of Americans now consider the professional political class that is more concerned about preserving its power and its privilege than it is about doing the people’s business,” she continued. “It’s why 82 percent of the American people now think we need people from outside of the professional political class to serve in public office. Ours was intended to be a citizen government, by, for and of the people. so, she will clearly be the nominee of the Democrat party and our nominee must take the fight to her because we need to defeat Hillary Clinton in 2016. Then we need someone in the oval office who can actually do the job.”

KATHLEEN WILLEY: HILLARY A 'MONEY-HUNGRY HYPOCRITE'
Says Bill 'showing early signs of dementia'

Kathleen Willey, the former White House aide who claims President Bill Clinton sexually assaulted her in 1993 during his first term, now suspects the former president suffers from dementia, and calls Hillary Clinton a “money-hungry” hypocrite who looks “awfully haggard” and is the “worst role mother for a wife and a mother and a politician.”

Willey, author of the book “Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton,” made her scathing comments in an interview airing tonight on Aaron Klein Investigative Radio, broadcast on New York’s AM 970 and Philadelphia 990 AM, as well as online.

She is now seriously questioning the mental health of both of the Clintons.

“[Hillary] is really looking awfully haggard these days,” Willey said.

“After watching [Bill's] performance with [NBC News' Cynthia] McFadden, when he said that I’ve gotta pay my bills, I think he’s showing early signs of dementia or something. He’s not the old Bill Clinton that we all remember. I mean, he was all over the place. Now you’re seeing clips of [Hillary] talking to herself all the time. I think that I want somebody in there who knows what they’re doing, and money isn’t the No. 1 issue for them. They have enough money. They made $30 million … in the last 15 months on speaking engagements. Isn’t that enough?”

Speaking of Hillary Clinton’s behavior during those White House years, Klein said, “There’s no way Hillary did not know what was going on, that women were being abused and accosted by her husband. You took it further on my show. You said Hillary was the war on women.”

HILLARY'S TOP AIDE WITH TERROR TIES SAW ALL EMAILS
Exposed to highly-sensitive information regarding Benghazi

TEL AVIV – A full review of Hillary Clinton’s personal emails released last Friday by the State Department finds Clinton’s senior aide, Huma Abedin, was exposed to highly-sensitive U.S. government information.

It was Abedin who forwarded to Clinton’s personal email address details about the initial establishment of the U.S. special mission in Benghazi, updates about security threats to both the mission and Ambassador Chris Stevens, intelligence on the growing terrorist threat in Libya and insider information on the Sept. 11, 2012 attack in Benghazi.

Abedin was privy to emails that contained the exact movements of Stevens while he was stationed in arguably one of the most dangerous zones in the world for any American diplomat.

WND previously reported on Abedin’s personal and family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and other to Islamic supremacists.

The connections not only extend to her mother and father, who are both deeply tied to al-Qaida fronts, but to Abedin herself, as WND previously reported in a series of exposés.

While she worked at the State Department, Abedin was also a paid employee at Teneo, a strategic consulting firm that specializes in investment banking, business intelligence and restructuring services.

Emails exposed ambassador’s movements

In one of dozens of emails released last week that included Abedin as among its recipients, on April 24, 2011, Abedin forwarded to Clinton’s personal email an internal State Department email from that same day written by Timmy Davis and sent to Abedin as well as to the State Department email addresses of other employees, including Clinton’s then-foreign policy aide, Jacob Sullivan.

The email cited a local report stating hotels in Benghazi were being targeted.

The email stated the interim Libyan government “conducted a raid on a house/storage facility and found and arrested an Egyptian cell reportedly there for the purpose of attacking hotels.”

JUDGE SETS TRIAL FOR RICO CLAIMS AGAINST CLINTONS

A federal judge in Florida has scheduled a trial for January for a case charging Bill and Hillary Clinton with RICO violations.

The Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations case was filed by Larry Klayman, of Freedom Watch, who alleges over the last decade, the Clintons have participated in “acts” that constitute a “criminal enterprise” that was designed to enrich them.

WND reported earlier this year when the case was filed that it alleged actions by Hillary and Bill Clinton, in coordination with their family foundation, constituted RICO crimes.

Klayman for years has been a Washington watchdog, having engaged Bill Clinton in court battles during his presidency. He’s also taken on terror interests and foreign influences in the United States, and just over the last year or so has won a federal court judgment against the National Security Agency’s spy-on-Americans program as well as bringing a case against Barack Obama over his amnesty-by-executive-memo strategy.

According to Klayman, the Clintons, through mail and wire fraud and false statements, misappropriated documents which he was entitled to receive and possess under the Freedom of Information Act regarding Hillary Clinton’s involvement in releasing Israeli war and cyber-warfare plans and practices.

Hillary Clinton orchestrated this release to harm and thwart Israeli plans to preemptively attack Iranian nuclear sites to stop the Islamic nation’s march to producing atomic weapons, according to Klayman.

The claim also explains Klayman used the nation’s FOIA to try to get details from the State Department regarding waivers to do business with Iran – “acts [that are] alleged to be the result of the defendants selling government influence in exchange for bribes from interests which have donated to The Clinton Foundation, paid huge speaking fees to the Clintons and other means.”

Clinton AIDS charity was shut down in Massachusetts

NEW YORK – Why does the Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc., registered as an Arkansas non-profit corporation, continue to list its principal business address in Massachusetts, where its registration was revoked under a previous name, the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative?

While the foundation has provided no explanation, after meticulous examination, Wall Street financial analyst and investor Charles Ortel believes he can demonstrate material irregularities in the state registrations and federal filings of what today is known as the Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc., or CHAI.

“These irregularities are of sufficient magnitude that if any of the 50 state attorneys general should present the evidence to a federal district judge, I believe an injunction would be ordered, shutting down the Clinton Foundation and placing the organization in receivership,” he said.

Ortel has documented the Clinton Foundation used the initial IRS tax-exempt determination letter that was limited to raising funds for the Clinton presidential library to actively solicit tax-exempt charitable donations to combat HIV/AIDS for some eight years before applying for and receiving authorization for the new purpose

Hillary clinton is not trustworthy at all. There is so many scandals around right now, with the emails, the donations, the spending, I don't think there is a single person that trusts her anymore. No matter what her polices are, she is not trustworthy enough to be president period.

ANALYST'S PROBE IMPLICATES HILLARY IN FOUNDATION FRAUD

NEW YORK – Although Hillary Clinton was appointed to the board of directors of the Clinton Foundation in 2013, after she had resigned as secretary of state, Wall Street analyst and investor Charles Ortel contends she is complicit in what he has described as systematic financial fraud warranting a criminal investigation.

fter months of tedious investigation, Ortel has concluded the foundation has filed financial and tax forms that were materially misleading, incomplete and in error with the goal of enriching the Clintons and their close associates.

Ortel alleges Hillary Clinton advanced an “inurement” scheme – enriching oneself through a nonprofit organization – in complicity with her husband by positioning various key associates within the Clinton Foundation structure while she served as U.S. senator from New York and subsequently as secretary of state under President Obama.

“Ongoing analysis of legally required public disclosures reveals that while Mrs. Clinton served as director, the Clinton Foundation and its principal constituent elements, filed false and materially misleading tax returns with the IRS and with other governmental authorities, for multiple years,” Ortel charges in his second report on alleged Clinton Foundation mismanagement.

The cash donations Hillary simply has no answer for

The Clinton Foundation's business relationship with 20 foreign governments raises real questions about her judgment

Among all the rivers of money that have flowed to the Clinton family, one seems to raise the biggest national security questions of all: the stream of cash that came from 20 foreign governments who relied on weapons export approvals from Hillary Clinton’s State Department.

Federal law designates the secretary of state as “responsible for the continuous supervision and general direction of sales” of arms, military hardware and services to foreign countries. In practice, that meant that Clinton was charged with rejecting or approving weapons deals — and when it came to Clinton Foundation donors, Hillary Clinton’s State Department did a whole lot of approving.

While Clinton was secretary of state, her department approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to Clinton Foundation donors. That figure from Clinton’s three full fiscal years in office is almost double the value of arms sales to those countries during the same period of President George W. Bush’s second term.

The Clinton-led State Department also authorized $151 billion of separate Pentagon-brokered deals for 16 of the countries that gave to the Clinton Foundation. That was a 143 percent increase in completed sales to those nations over the same time frame during the Bush administration. The 143 percent increase in U.S. arms sales to Clinton Foundation donors compares to an 80 percent increase in such sales to all countries over the same time period.

American military contractors and their affiliates that donated to the Clinton Foundation — and in some cases, helped finance speaking fees to Bill Clinton — also got in on the action. Those firms and their subsidiaries were listed as contractors in $163 billion worth of arms deals authorized by the Clinton State Department.

Under a directive signed by President Clinton in 1995, the State Department is supposed to take foreign governments’ human rights records into account when reviewing arms deals. Yet, Hillary Clinton’s State Department increased approvals of such deals to Clinton Foundation donors that her own agency was sharply criticizing for systematic human rights abuses.

As just one of many examples, in its 2011 Human Rights Report, Clinton’s State Department slammed Algeria’s government for imposing “restrictions on freedom of assembly and association,” tolerating “arbitrary killing,” “widespread corruption” and a “lack of judicial independence.”

That year, the Algerian government donated $500,000 to the Clinton Foundation and the next year Clinton’s State Department approved a one-year 70 percent increase in military export authorizations to the country. The jump included authorizations for almost 50,000 items classified as “toxicological agents, including chemical agents, biological agents and associated equipment.” The State Department had not authorized the export of any of such items to Algeria the year before.

During Hillary Clinton’s 2009 Senate confirmation hearings, Republican Sen. Richard Lugar said the Clinton Foundation should stop accepting foreign government money. He warned that if it didn’t, “foreign governments and entities may perceive the Clinton Foundation as a means to gain favor with the secretary of state.”

The Clintons did not take his advice. Advocates for limits on the political influence of money now say that Lugar was prescient.

“The word was out to these groups that one of the best ways to gain access and influence with the Clintons was to give to this foundation,” said Meredith McGehee, policy director at the Campaign Legal Center.

While these arms deals may seem like ancient history, Lawrence Lessig, the director of Harvard University’s Safra Center for Ethics, says they “raise a fundamental question of judgment” — one that is relevant to the 2016 presidential campaign.

“Can it really be that the Clintons didn’t recognize the questions these transactions would raise?” he said. “And if they did, what does that say about their sense of the appropriate relationship between private gain and public good?”

Dude. this^ is virtually the same thing that went on under Bill's regime when he had a chinese dude (DNC fundraiser type person) at the head of the commerce dept and the Chinese communist Army/govt was sending money to Bill's campaign in exchange for export waivers that allowed companies like Loral Technologies and Hughes Communications to sell encrypted missile guidance systems and the like to the Chi-coms. http://www.jonathanpollard.org/1998/040798b.htm There are more links but this is the first I rustled up. The John Birch Society was covering this treason and bribery back in the 90s but the impeachment hearings refused to bring this stuff up. Go figure that in recent times the Clintons' would do the same thing but on a larger scale thus showing their entitlement and traitor status once again using govt to pad their books.

The Clintons' go-to historical reference: The Roosevelts

Hillary Clinton’s official campaign kickoff event on June 13 at Roosevelt Island in New York will not be the first time that the former secretary of state—or her husband, for that matter—has invoked the famous family in a political setting.

The island, named after President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1971, was previously known as Welfare Island, among other names. Native Americans called it Minnahanonck; it was Varkens Eylandt to the Dutch. And it was Blackwell’s Island for more than two centuries before it was sold to the city.

Perfect place for her to start her ruse of a campaign, welfare island and trying to unmuddy her name a la the Roosevelts. Not saying I liked any of the Roosevelt's but the Clintons are fascists on steroids compared to the former way back when.

HILLARY CLINTON’S “GRASSROOTS CAMPAIGN” SETS $1,000 MINIMUM FOR A “CONVERSATION”

An Intercept reader forwarded me the following invitation from Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, asking him to join the candidate for a series of events in Massachusetts. To take part in a “Conversation with Hillary” at a home in Chestnut Hill on June 10, three days before the Clinton campaign’s official launch in New York, attendees are asked to pay $2,700 per person. For the “Conversation with Hillary” earlier that day in Boston, a “Friend” of the campaign can attend for as little s $1,000.

The private events are described in the invitation as part of Clinton’s “grassroots campaign.”

The Clinton campaign website lists other upcoming fundraisers, including one on June 17 with McGuireWoods, a lobbying firm that represents ExxonMobil, the Washington Redskins and America’s Natural Gas Alliance, a trade group for fracking companies.

Taxpayers clipped $21k for Clinton Foundation meeting in Morocco

Bill Clinton, no stranger to controversy, raised eyebrows again with a Clinton Global Initiative gathering last month, as ABC News put it, "at a five-star luxury hotel in Morocco [hosted] by one of the world's most controversial mining companies, criticized for 'serious human rights violations' by the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice." And as is the case with every trip a former president takes (and President Clinton takes a lot of trips), the U.S. taxpayer is on the hook for security expenses.

For the Morocco trip, the hotel costs alone for the Secret Service came to $21,165.

Other expenses related to the Morocco trip could not be located on the government spending website, but vehicle expenses likely ran into the thousands of dollars. Last Christmas/New Years, as THE WEEKLY STANDARD reported, a vacation for the Clintons in the Dominican Republic cost the taxpayers over $104,000 in hotel costs alone for the Secret Service. Three contracts discovered after that article was published show that vehicles for the Secret Service for the Clintons' Dominican vacation cost almost $20,000.
