Why do Atheists Hate Religion?

Atheists can't hate religion because they do not recognize the existence of God , and therefore no one to hate. Atheists just laugh at believers.

To a greater extent, people came to atheism because of their grief or other serious problems. They could not understand why God did this to them. And if evil neighbors, then there is no God. An atheist hates God. If he didn't, he would work to find out about God, and then obey Him.

Most atheists, when stating about religion, suggest that they don't believe in religion. It's because they don't know that the general definition of religion includes atheism. All people are religious, especially regarding things they are formally forceful about. It's in the definition of the word.

I think you are projecting your hate of other religions on atheists.   Atheists don't hate your imaginary friend, why would they?

In the case of God and the atheist, the atheist lies when he says he is an atheist. He lies in three ways, for at least three reasons:
1. He knows for a fact that he doesn't know enough about the universe to know that God absolutely does not exist;
2. Since he understands #1, he is setting himself up as god over God, thereby proving that God exists in himself trying to be god... if nowhere else;
3. Way down deep he knows that God DOES exist.

Ah, I'd probably agree to this. I sometimes (sorry? I guess) laugh at them. Some of the devotees here in our country idolizes statues - wipe its feet with their beloved handkerchief or towel and then use these items to wipe their face or anything that aches. They are devotees, but haven't they read their bible? Idolatry is a sin. Ahh. Well...

Because don't believe on priest thats why they think that priest are making them fool once they telling something or when they alibying of others life atheists they had own belief. I'd probably believed on scientist than believing on a priest too.

In my opinion, Atheists hate religion because the ones who were practicing it do not really practice it "by the book". For the sake of peace and love I would not mention any names of religion but honestly, I know a lot of people who claims to be a follower of such "god" but do not strictly comply on what is written in their books. Now, if you live in a society surrounded by these people you might consider to disconnect yourself with that kind of faith. Once you were disconnected, you would lose appetite of having any faith at all... then you will hate religion.

I really thought Atheists unconsciously hate people that practices their faith incorrectly to satisfy their personal interests... this makes me think that Atheists are sick and tired of hypocrisy and heresy, not religion itself.
