I am an atheist, and I do not hate religion. It is something that I do not understand, and dont even want to argue about. People of different cultures have different thinking. Some like to have an leader or creator imagined in their mind, which does not appeal to me. I believe in action and its consequences. I do not believe anyone can write my fate, it is in my hand.

Either you are attempting to hide the truth, or you aren't intelligent enough to understand the truth. Not being intelligent is not against you. People can't do much to increase their intelligence. What is against you is your intentional desire to not learn the truth, and to not increase you intelligence enough to understand the truth. That is the thing that is against you. And, it is all of your own doing.

If your belief in god makes you want to harm others who have different beliefs than you then atheists probably are right in just choosing not to believe in anything I think that all people, more or less, like to be correct about things that makes them who they are. So if person believe in God, that belief is part of there personality, so if you say that God does not exist, you also attack there personality and that is bad. Because ego is tricky thing, no one like when there personality is attacked. That is why there are so many conflicts about religion. And you are wrong, to harm other people isn't part of any religion, not any that i know of. |

I mean, let's face it, traditional religions makes us put a lot to having faith in things that we really don't know about. It's about plain faith in someone higher. I think atheists are leaning more on living outside the boundaries of these religions, without their rules and forced beliefs |

But there aren't any atheists who know enough of the secrets of the universe to suggest that they have proof that God doesn't exist. So, they are ignorant of their own ignorance, or they are lying. This makes atheism the blindest religion of all... a blind religion, or a lying religion. Since this is the way that atheism is, why follow atheists around looking at the ignorance they call knowledge? After all, people of most other religions who hear about scientific facts, accept those facts right along with their religious beliefs. |

An atheist told me that in her opinion, she sees religion, specifically, Catholic to be some kind of tool to control people. She said she believes it was invented by elite people with a goal to control all of humanity. Then I asked a devout Catholic. He said those are not true. He said atheism is one of the tools of the devil to control humanity. That leaves me scratching my head.

Simply because people are corrupt doesn't mean that they don't understand that God exists. Many good and right people, some who attend church, and some who don't, are still corrupt in some of the ways in which they live. And they certainly know that God exists. |

Right. Atheists can not hate what they do not believe. They just do not believe in religion and all kinds of supernatural beings. Although there are some people who hate religion, it's more like some other sect. The only way that an atheist cannot believe in God is to intentionally block the natural knowledge of God out of his heart and mind. Hate does not always have to be a passionate thing. |
