I am thinking we should do a hard fork and remove all the staking interest, make it stake at 888 or 900 coins each time and leave it at that, no more monthly reducing of interest over a long period of time. This hyperinflation of stake interest is keeping this coin's value down. I see this coin being at least 100 or 200 sat each. But the hyperinflation staking interest needs to be removed. Who agrees with me?

It's doing just fine as it is. Don't try to make it something it's not. Great coin, very fast, tons of stakes, only 8hrs to get the ball rolling. Cheap enough people can still get in with a few $. Mostly, fun. The rewards will eventually drop on the schedule. It's already been dicked with once. That's enough.

Wow such fun. Such speed. Much staking. I don't think trying to fix what ain't broken is a good idea. It just creates needless uncertainty because people won't know what to expect long term. Difficulty is going up and rewards are going down every month so stakes are getting harder. One year from now LDOGE will be stronger coin with a higher market cap if no changes are made. There are still 11 times more DOGE coins than there are LDOGE coins, so LDOGE still has some work to do to catch up.

I do.. 1st we need to finalise the current wallet upgrade (no fork required). 2nd if we fork, I suggest no block time change (too risky) but reduce the rewards as follows: Currently at block 261,667Block 235,000 — 279,999: 24,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 280,000 — 324,999: 18,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 325,000 — 369,999: 14,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 370,000 — 414,999: 10,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 415,000 — 459,999: 8,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 460,000 — 504,999: 6,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 505,000 — 549,999: 4,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 550,000 — 594,999: 3,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 595,000 — 639,999: 2,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 640,000 — + : 1,000 LiteDoge Reward (low to ensure future of coin)

The bounty can be sent to dNKPBdo6UzBNZTevQCiHeqrvdCKfuJdyWp, thanks. Give full clear step by step instructions and promote LiteDoge POS mining on http://StakeBox.com. From a fresh install of Raspbian, execute "git clone https://github.com/stakebox/LiteDoge" and "git clone https://github.com/stakebox/extra-libs", that will get you the wallet binary and the additional libraries. This is compiled against libdb5.3, to get that you need to use the debian jessie repos. Execute "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list", in the first line change "wheezy" to "jessie", then press control+x to close, then "y" to save, and then press enter to accept the location. Execute "sudo apt-get update" and then "sudo apt-get install libdb++-dev". There are some services that will be needed to be restarted, you will be met with a prompt asking if you would like them to be restarted automatically, just select yes and press enter. After this, you should change your source back to wheezy, just "sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list" again and change "jessie" back to "wheezy", and then "sudo apt-get update" again. Now simply copy the files in the extra-libs folder you downloaded into /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf with "sudo cp -a extra-libs /usr/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf". Go ahead and fire up the LiteDoge wallet. As far as promoting LiteDoge PoS mining on my website, I don't promote any coins in particular. I am looking to provide people who don't want to muck around with all of the jumping through hoops with a plug and play staking device for any PoS coin they want, not to support any individual coin. I make my work available freely to anyone who doesn't mind getting down and dirty and doing the work themselves via GitHub. I feel like promoting LiteDoge is outside the scope of the bounty, which remember is only worth slightly more than $2. If you disagree, than that is fine, enjoy the freebie.

Then roughly 135,000 coins would be minted everyday for a slowly reducing inflation rate starting @ %.001 My math might be off but I think it's right. I think for a tipping coin we need to get a reasonable amount of coins in the wild per day (135,000) and get to that number as fast as possible (46 days). Only then will the markets, community and World react. EDIT:My math was off, my apologies. With the above timeline I propose it would still take 280 days to generate the 25% more coins (~2.1 Billion) and settle into the 100 LDOGE block reward. Even more reason to get more aggressive with the reward structure!

Seriously??? there is no way! Not that low! What are you thinking???
Why not? I'm thinking about a viable coin that can be used for micro transactions, tipping, gaming, fun... All kinds of applications. My logic is this:- Reduce daily emissions to allow market pricing to be achieved. Currently too many are being generated per day and the market has been at a stalemate (1-2sats) for nearly 6 months!
- A viable tipping coin needs to be easy to give away but harder to earn. It's far too easy to earn LDOGE atm and harder to give them away. We need to flip that.
- 10 Billion coins is plenty for a foundation. Then a reasonable daily emission encourages generosity among the community but also a level of investment opporitunity. At the rate we're at now the only perk to owning LDOGE is to 1. feel like a millionare (1M coins), 2. Double up investment (buy at 1 sat and sell at 2 sat.
- Dogecoin has a 10,000 coin block reward. The coin has been around for 2-3 years and it has too many coins. Price stalled, etc.. Instead of racing to catch up with their crazy Total Coin Supply (100Billion) I think a coin will have a larger impact with minimal rewards and a purpose. It can't be to emulate DOGE in every way.
- 100 LDOGE per block (ultimate goal) is similar to a PoW coin reward. This will still give 135k coins/day but also make stakers think twice about selling right away. It's been proven with coin experiments time and again if you make the reward worthwhile to point your computer towards it but not outlandish where distribution gets discombobulated and top heavy then the chances of survival and community participation increases.
- I own 1.5% of total supply but I think that's too much. Selfishly I'd like to see the max supply level off around 10M within 1 year's time so the price will rise and I can sell some of my supply down to 1% (my typical investment in a coin project I like). Most of my supply is from staking, I'm not selling for 2 sat and I don't want to hold 1.5% (or even more if I keep my computer on) for another year. Just being honest.

This coin is great as it is. No changes are necessary. A few months ago when it was being discussed to make changes to HYP, a wise man named Kushed said "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". I think that applies equally well in this case. The rewards are going to fall on their own as scheduled in 9200 more blocks. Reducing the rewards through a hard fork will only benefit people who already have a lot of coins and not encourage new people to buy. There has been talk of adding a feature of adding a feature of sending stake rewards to a different address like on other coins, and this feature will be less exiting if the stake reward being sent is only worth a few satoshis.
Right now with LDOGE as it currently is you can buy for 1 satoshi each if you set a buy order and wait. You can then stake for a while and sell them back for 1 satoshi, with the rewards more than paying for the exchange fees. How is this a bad thing? If you don't like LDOGE as it is you should just sell all of your LDOGE for 1 satoshi, I will buy them.

I do.. 1st we need to finalise the current wallet upgrade (no fork required). 2nd if we fork, I suggest no block time change (too risky) but reduce the rewards as follows: Currently at block 261,667Block 235,000 — 279,999: 24,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 280,000 — 324,999: 18,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 325,000 — 369,999: 14,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 370,000 — 414,999: 10,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 415,000 — 459,999: 8,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 460,000 — 504,999: 6,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 505,000 — 549,999: 4,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 550,000 — 594,999: 3,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 595,000 — 639,999: 2,000 LiteDoge Reward Block 640,000 — + : 1,000 LiteDoge Reward (low to ensure future of coin) I agree on everthing expect the final staking reward should not be 1000 but like 888 or 900
