How to teach kids about Bitcoin?

I believe there is a way to teach kids about bitcoin.

I taught my kid this same way. Tried it today

First I cut a lot of papers and started playing money game with him. There was a rule that only I can make the money.
Then I asked him Do you why I am the only one who can make money?. Guess what? He said "It's because you have a powerful computer to mine with"

I asked him "Do you also like to do the same?" the reply was "yes"

He is still beside me watching me write this post. for the last three hours he is sitting beside me and learning and watching my screen.

When I asked him to go and play he said "No! I want to learn how to mine gold(that is what he calls it) and get rich"

The technique is to plant the intrest in them.

It is not so easy to teach kids about bitcoin formally.
I mean in schools it would be really difficult because
Most of the governments even now oppose the use of bitcoins,
In place of their national Fiat currency.
So they won't allow the school to have bitcoins as a part of their economics course.
But yes we can definitely promote the use of bitcoins informally to set an example in front of them.

it will need patience until our kids understand of what we explained but if in their school, there are any lesson about bitcoin, then i am sure they will fast understand and they can discuss with us and who knows our kids will using bitcoin too like us. the other way, if we want to teach our kids about bitcoin, then we need to spend much time to explain to them until they can understand the point first.

Kids of today are smarter, we all know that, but it doesn't mean that all that they know are good and they don't know that, that is why parents should be guiding their kids specially in using their gadgets and internet.

Personally, I won't teach a kid to earn bitcoin not even to use internet regularly in the future, I am sure that too much use of gadgets and internet would mean lesser physical activities to them.

yes it's true because of childhood can't be repeated, and not the time to make money. teaches the knowledge economy it is okay but adjusted for age such as saving, not wasteful. for bitcoin was very difficult and not appropriate to the age of children in general and kids easily bored and sad about something complicated

There's a right time for everything, we should make sure that we are teaching our kids when they are matured enough.

Bitcoin can bring bad or good results into our life because it's not really solely created for earning and we have seen that there are kids who knows how to gamble because it's easy to do it with bitcoin and that is not a good exposure for them, they should look bitcoin as a positive asset that will be helpful for everyone and they can fully understand at the right age.

It depends on how you are going to teach your kid on earning with bitcoin. For me, it isn't bad to teach them at early age on how to earn some bitcoins, since there are a lot of faucet sites, they can simply use it for claiming. And also it's not bad if you are teaching them on what's currently on trend with technology, just teach them how to use it properly.

i think the  best way to make them understand about bitcoins is by saying that bitcoin is another type of currency and it is not fiat like usd or any other curreny .it exits and it cant be felt and it  is  the  future and it has a lot of potential.

I think that is not a good idea to explain to them that bitcoin is a type of currency, why? Because kids today are intelligent and they can think of something new and out of their curiosity they can use it for gambling unless we are not going to open them the negative things that we can do it, other wise it is a good idea.

although they like something new, but that does not mean they can understand something complex of bitcoin. kids enough to know that bitcoin is kind of a new currency, and they can understand once they are old enough

The kids are need more education and i think that's not the right thing to tell the bitcoin to the kid, because they're need a lot of the education. That's not the right environtment for them.

Indeed kids need to know tha basic first.  Give him the foundaton in order to learn Bitcoin easily when the time is right.  This basic foundation im saying is the schooling.  Let them learn at the school to learn basic grasp of things like science, math, economy and give him more power of analyzation when they grow up.  Bitcoin can wait and you are already in it so your child can just continue your enthusiasm when the right time come.

It depends on how you are going to teach your kid on earning with bitcoin. Kids are not really focus in earning, their focus is just to play, it's our responsibility to earn to support our kids and let them grow and
do things that they want. Kids means minors and I believe bitcoin will only be good for matured people like those who are in the legal age already.

Easier said than done! making a kid interested in a single activity for a long time is quite hard especially if it's
about them need to learn something that they don't understand. even if you teach them specific parts of bitcoin
there will be no guarantee that they will listen to the subject.

the best way is to let them grow in an environment that involves bitcoin I.e. letting them participate when buying something
with bitcoin this way they will be aware that there is a currency that called bitcoin, as they grow the existence of bitcoin will be more normal when you start teaching them they will be more familiar with it and will be able to understand the basics of bitcoin easier.

It is literally, hard to teach children, espscially for something they dont really know, they are kids, they do not care about money and stuffs, they just want to play and enjoy their lives, they are just kids. We don't need to relate government about these, we don't need to relate the fiat currencies about these, and what school will teach a KID about economy, you will be just wasting your time. It can be used as an example to them, but eventually, they do not care

And it is not very far from actually claiming that children should be left to themselves since they don't care about money and other things from adult life, since they just want to have fun ("girls just want to have fun") and enjoy their lives. The said doesn't mean that you should force your kids to learn something (though that's what schools are mostly doing), that will be counterproductive and play against you in the end. It is your task to teach children in such a way that they would enjoy this kind of teaching. And it is not just one approach to teaching, it is in fact the best approach out there which would yield the best results

I know few juniors of around 12-14 years of age, they play online games and compete in tournaments, many of them are being rewarded via Bitcoin, so they are getting knowledge about it automatically.

Nope, it's not good to teach what is Bitcoin to kids. It may spoil your kid life in young age. Yes if the kids know at the early age what is Bitcoin. I am sure they will choose to gamble to make Bitcoin. Becasue they don't have the patience to make money in trading and investing am I right. And in early age, they learn gambling it will spoil your kids future. So think twice before teaching about Bitcoin to your kids.

Probably one of the best things to do to teach kids how bitcoin works is to explain them at first how the economy works with something they are familiar with like with candy or toys and then when they understand the basics about the economy then you could teach them about bitcoin.

How do you imagine to explain on the candy child the basics of Economics? LOL!!! With children, you need to speak only at the level of the game. The more economic games with a decent win, the faster and better the children will understand the fundamentals of the economy.
