If children are interested in the topic of crypto currency, then you can give them basic knowledge. And if it is not interesting for children, then you can not teach them anything about bitcoins. When they grow up, they themselves will know everything or ask you
the problem is they do not necessarily know cryptocurrency, I think the best way to teach kids about bitcoin is introduced that bitcoin is equal to the money that we can use to buy online.

I think bitcoin is not for kids. Because bitcoin is hard maybe you should teach them if they are teen and how to save money online but for kids or children? Nah.. For me no because children should enjoy their lives first before going to more complicated life. I think for teens you should teach them but for the kids No.

I think the best way for kids to learn about most things is through games. In bitcoin's case, maybe we could introduce them to faucets and let them play around with them.

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/9-ways-kids-smarter-money-100050132.html

This article doesn't talk about bitcoin but it got me thinking how to get kinds interested in bitcoin within the context of appropriate money management lessons. Think of we could teach kinds about it. The growth, the adoption, the inflation and retraction. The allure of the "internet money".

...what other ideas come to mind?
I think the term kinds is not applicable for bitcoin's platform since they are in the stage of growing and they shouldn't mind business in that age. However, a term teenager would be better since they are in stage of being an adult which bitcoin can help them to achieve that.

Yeah agree bitcoin isnt for kids but not wrong give it they know about bitcoin like what for bitcoin, how to use bitcoin and never let know if bitcoin is can be investment because teaching kids about money at an undesirable age will make them be ambitius person, it's not good. they will lose their childhood.

It's pretty hard to explain bitcoin to kids, we can explain it just like points in game play or like money in credit card
Maybe we can only tell the child about such a thing. That bitcoin is money used to play games or just like local money in general. They will not understand deeply

Yes, children need to show it in the form of a game. I think a lot of bitcoins of cranes and similar games with earnings of coins are created especially for children.

Yes their age is not compatible with our technology because they don't have that much experience in the internet especially on using computers so bitcoin or learning bitcoin will be hard to them and they need so much time and experience in computer or internet to be able to understand how bitcoin works very well.

At their age, do not go too far. You can just play games and collect bitcoins, and then when they grow up, I find out that they have collected a few coins.

I dont think teaching everything about bitcoin to children is at all needed. Bitcoin involves some complex technology which is hard to explain to children. But if you still wanna teach them. Just tell them its a money that we use on internet. Moreover bitcoin involves risk as it is volatile. So bitcoin should be kept at a bay from children. Unless you want your children to invest their pocket money in bitcoin.

There are many bitcoin gaming sites available nowadays. These are fun and although the income isn't that big,it is a great way to make children aware of btc
faucet, but i agree with you. Just give a little knowledge about bitcoin through playing the bitcoin games. But i was remember about minecraft  combined with btc.

You don't have to include the complex details when you explain to them what bitcoin is but don't give them misleading information just to have a more easy to understand explanation. if you did that you teaching bitcoin to children is plainly useless.

gambling and children? are you serious? there are a bunch of games that has nothing to do with gambling out there and you just plainly play and claim, no deposits will be made. why would you use a gambling site?

faucets is also a no, it is full of ads. ads nowadays are merly clickbaits this is why theres a high chance that your child will click them and go to some random site or worse clicked an ad with malwares.

I do agree to not include complex detail, the most important is they understand what is bitcoin and how to used it, we explained and make them curious, that will be the best method

To earn bitcoin for children there are only two ways, from faucet or from game, there are no other option, and faucets and gaming sites will be full of ads because they got the earning from ads, so just explained to them what is the danger of clicking random ads

My kids are still young (less than 2yo) so nothing much to teach for now per say..

Though she sees me looking at charts all day and whenever i touch my phone or computer she says "bitcoin" in our native language. Cracks me up everytime  Grin Grin

Anyhow, I bought some BTC for my kids which they'll eventually come to know of when they start talking and using technology. When that time comes, I'll explain it to them and let them delve into this deep deep rabbit hole. Cool They're probably smarter than us old people and will figure it out themselves much faster

This time it's different.

Kids is hard to teach when they don't understand what we are saying wasting time to teach them is like your teaching a dog to spoke. Kids brain is they wanted to play and play all the time you can't force them to know everything about bitcoin also they will knew about gambling if you do taught them trust me don't ever let kids use bitcoins.

You're right. Children are very difficult to teach something they do not want to know about. Therefore, they need to talk about bitkoin only when they ask you about it. And do not delve into the details, but just tell the basics

i think faucet is just to waste your time, and specially about children who should take interest only in their study, once they will become addicted to earning money i think it will become very difficult for them to take interest in their study and once they complete their study then they should take interest in bitcoin and any other profitable legal activity.

Kids is a very appropriate time to play and spend time for his family. Because if kids start doing or thinking about something that is actually not yet the time to do it then the mindset of kids will be different and things that might happen (arrogant, smug, deceitful, bersilah tongue, etc.) is a lie when getting an error or violated the rules. Be someone that wonderful without having to do a resistance that could spill war and death

It's useless. Unless they're a fucking genius then the kid is going to be clueless. I bet it's something that could be taught in a high school class.
