After winning the toss NZ choose to bat first in second ODI.India already lose first Odi so they will try their best to seal the match.Both team have many good quality players and I am expecting a very competitive match today.NZ needs to make atleast 350 runs at this pitch to seal the game.
After first over NZ got 5 runs without losing any wickets. It looks like pitch may be suitable for first batting more and that's why NZ choose to bat first even though they know that India is good in chasing. If they win today's match then after a long time India will be losing a series at home. This match will be a real test for all Indian batsman. Let's see how they will bat today... |

Kohli and his team want to stay above the normal 6 run rate and finish off this match, since they lost their first match and would not be risking to lose early wickets and make it worse for the middle order batsmen if the run rate goes above the average. |

Good come back from the Indian team, the target is less just 231 runs. Good bowling from Bhuvaneshwar and Bumrah and other bowlers also supported well. Indian batsman is playing easily they lost 2 wickets the score is 100 runs they need 131 runs in 30 overs. So I am fully confident that India is going to win this match. |

Even though Virat Kohli back to the pavilion early in the run chase India will win this match comfortably, with Shikhar Dhawan well set and Dinesh Karthik in the good form in the domestic matches, so it's not a big challenge them to chase down the target. Dhawan is key in the run chase as his average around 55 in the successful chasing.

The reason for New Zealand low scoring in this match is disciplined bowling from Indian bowlers, especially new ball bowlers started really well. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar swung the ball nicely to pick up the key wickets of Guptill and Munro. Kane Williamson poor run with the bat is one of the main reasons why they didn't score competitive total.

Today I was expecting over 300+ from New Zealand but very disciplined bowling from Indian attack reduce Kiwis with less then 250 which is very good now Dhawan and Karthic done good job to complete victory for home team B Kumar is MOM for today as his first spell done all magic for India lest see how reacted Kiwis in next match |

Indians played well to the position in which they are today. they took NZ wickets at regular intervals and due to which they could not build a big score. And India must say despite losing early wicket the batsman were calm and played their key role of keeping the strike rotating and thus ticking the scoreboard. Thus they are 18 runs away and 6 wickets in hand in 8 overs to win. |

Yeah, superb performance by the Indian Cricket team. They made it to look very easy by their all round performance. Excellent bowling by the Bhuvneshwar and Bumrah; good support by Jadhav and Chahal. Fantastic half centuries by Dhawan and Kartik who made it easy to chase down the target. It was a much needed win for India to level the series and to be in the competition, it will be interesting to see the next match as both the teams will try hard to win the match. |

Yes this is must need win for team India today they played fantastically all credits goes to the bowlers. They bowled superbly. Yes this is must need win for team India today they played fantastically all credits goes to the bowlers. They bowled superbly. They have very good batting lineup, but they took 46 overs to chase this small target. I think they need to speed up their run rate. Dhawan and Karthik bat well congrats India. I think Indian team didn't wanted to risk chasing the target fast. They took there time and they played really well, a needed win to make the NZ tour's last ODI full of excitement. Dhawan played well but quite steadily, overall the team looked much balanced then the previous game. |
