dollar and bitcoin is very diffirent, i think bitcoin can't replace dollar as currency, maybe the bitcoin technology can adopt by goverment but the local currency or dollar U.s can't replace wth bitcoin

They both totally different bitcoin used for internet world and fiat money like dollar has also its own used and lot of people would not be able to adopt those changes if ever because of access in internet like here in my country that poor connection is anywhere so for me it would not be happened

In my opinion however Bitcoin will not replace Dollar. Dollar is an international currency that is widely used in some countries. Although dollar is not like Bitcoin which has more advantages but here Dollar acts as a legitimate currency.

Bitcoin has same characteristics with dollar. They have high price, but I think bitcoin and dollar are different. Bitcoin is digital coin and dollar is virtual money. Cool
Bitcoin Is way different that dollar and it is already replacing dollar because people are buying bitcoin in great amount this shows that they are not happy with the dollars they are having all they want to do is make more money and bitcoin is here for them to given them huge ease of getting millionaire in small time whereas dollars doesn’t offer such kind if deals and that day is not far when btc will be most used all across.
They are not satisfied with dollars but their ultimate goal is that they want to earn more dollars, this is really funny and contradictory, you should look at another aspect of this problem, they invest in bitcoin to make more money, not they want to use bitcoin as a currency, Bitcoin is just an intermediary step to earn dollars, it can not replace dollars. Bitcoin is just better than dollars in terms of value and profit but on other issues, it can not be compared to dollars, the number of users and the popularity, the community is still lower than the dollar, replace the dollar in real life is still an impossible with Bitcoin, the capacity of bitcoin is limited

You're totally right. Most of the person who bought bitcoin don't even know how bitcoin work , it just an investment. Bitcoin will never replace the dollar, there are too many issues to be adopted to a daily use for the complete population.

You cant replace the dollar. Dollars have 0 transaction fees, transact instantly, dont leave records, and work offline with a network, a blockchain, a computer, or a wallet. They also function as a highly stable unit of accounting for commerce/industry. 99% of current bitcoin users actually just want more dollars.

We still based the value of bitcoin in dollar so that means dollar are more dominant than bitcoin.
Dollar is a real currency which has a value even in other part of the world but bitcoin is not, it's just a payment system and some countries ban it.

For now, the dollar is a reserve currency, so bitcoin may take a longer time to replace it.
Bitcoin needs to be adopted by governments to make progress on this front. The day when bitcoin replaces the dollar, it will be the world's (major currencies) slowly being influenced by bitcoins!

To replace the dollar in the near future is certainly very difficult, I'm sure that bitcoin can not replace the dollar because of many factors that affect, for example is a decentralized issue that is difficult to accept legally.
According to my point of view the decentralization of bitcoin is not its drawback but it is beneficial for it, which gives it more privacy and security also it doesn't involve any third person in sending bitcoin from one person to another person. Still it is accepted legally by many countries of the world and is also used in some institutions of the world.

I think it can participate fully with dollar if we start using it in our daily life. As its modern era so challenging bitcoin with dollar is not a big deal.
Well, it is really much more of an advantage and just only few people know that and just very few people also want to accept that. So at the end, we will still have some people making use of fiat and some making use of bitcoin. That is the way I see it playing out.

Over time, regulation of the usage of bitcoin will pop up in most countries and then it would just become a normal currency being used by some set of people as well as fiat.

I do not see this happening at all, you have to remember that bitcoin is now still dependent on global currencies.

In my opinion, never. Why ? because USD is americans money, yeah you know AMERCIAN. Just let bitcoin just be the same as this days.
It is not the matter of being Americans and all that. In start if you see that progress of dollars, they took much time for being established as the super currency of the world. Same is the case with bitcoins. Bitcoins have shown a better progress relatively than dollars. So a time is not that much distant when everyone is only talking about bitcoins and they all just don’t see the dollars.

In my opinion, bitcoin will not replace the dollar, because bitcoin is the virtual currency while the dollar is the real currency, so bitcoin will not replace the dollar.
But look at it in diffrent way, you could just put dollar in bank account and your real currency become a number on webside like bitcoin, so it still has potential.

Each country has their own paper money like dollar, yen, pesos and other. I believe that bitcoin can’t replace dollar or any kind of paper money. Paper money can we use it offline and also online transaction. If replacing that dollar, we need all the stores, mall and others accept the bitcoin as a mode of payment that is so impossible that will happens.

Yeah and what i always see of slogans in news on TV, internet about "AMERICA First" i think they will choose fiat over bitcoin (maybe for now) since bitcoin has drawback in transaction especially during offline. That's what fiat has the edge over bitcoin and other crypto currencies because you can buy food, services and anything you want even if the internet connection is nowhere to be found.

I don't think so. Us dollar is an international and very established money. To many countries (to not tell almost all) have their reserves in their Central Banks mostly in us dollar. Has almost the status of gold. Bitcoin has the qualities of being reserve money (is uninflationable) but I think that it is insufficient to fulfill the requests of all the countries.

In my opinion, bitcoin will not replace the dollar, because bitcoin is the virtual currency while the dollar is the real currency, so bitcoin will not replace the dollar.

It is a reason but not that enough proof of reasoning. Bitcoin is a digital currency, it is and we all know that in the far future, digital currencies are the currencies that will be used by a lot of people with every of it's transactions. Bitcoin is so volatile, it is not a feature that will replace a fiat soon, there are also the  decentralization and the anonymity.

It is hard to say that bitcoin will replace dollar soon. It is very impossible to happen.

It might possible like 1-5% chance for bitcoin to replace dollar though, but it needs time. Because dollar is way more popular than bitcoins, I think almost people around the world know dollar is, on the other hand many people don't know about bitcoins.

Well, we can expect in the next 10 years the popularity of bitcoin is already big.
However, there is no reason why it has to replace dollar since dollar is already here for quite along period of time and there is no problem
with the currency, bitcoin will help to transact online easy while dollar will just remain useful and paper money as well.

No I don't think so, because the currency of dollar of the currency of bitcoin is different , well they're both use to spending and buying but bitcoin is infinite and when all people had their bitcoin , the currency of btc will go down, unlike the currency of dollar which is finite

Bitcoin is a digital currency and dollar is a real currency their are use in different place, bitcoin use in online work or online shopping but dollar use in every where and every person, both are not replace because bitcoin price is more high than dollar and every person who wants use bitcoin they can easily join bitcoin any where.
