Roma ended up being as unhappy as they possibly could and that will be something that will benefit them in the long run. I know that they will want to get a win and all but this season is basically over. They will start considering what to do about next season instead.

Thus one of their hopes is to win the final game and secure a place to qualify for the europa league next season. We hope that the defeat in the Europa League final will not disturb the mentality of the players when they face Spezia. I'm sure all the Roma fans will be pouring into the Stadio Olimpico to cheer on the players after the huge disappointment they experienced in the Europa League.

From the table of standings, Juventus could indeed shift Roma or Atalanta ranking if these two teams failed to maximize their last chance to win the match. This will be the toughest point for Roma and I hope they can close this season with a win.

Roma's failure to win the UEFA Europa League competition means that they'll be missing out on next season's UEFA Champions League football and that I think will be a big blow for them.

I like Fiorentina's performance in this game and they deserved the points apart from the 2 red cards of the Sassuolo players which made them more comfortable towards the end of the game but still this is 3 points as well as closing the season which is quite good for Fiorentina.

Apart from the points, there was nothing to play for. The competition would have ended with more suspense if both the teams had a qualification spot to play for, or finishing in last three to avoid.

Fiorentina almost made it to Europe spots in Serie A but I think they can win the Conference Final this year against West Ham on 7th June and that should secure them a spot in UCL if I remember well and to be honest , Fiorentina is finally looking like a solid team and they deserve to win a trophy and have another run for next year.
