I strongly disagree with you. Yes, Inter looked decent and even had chances to score a goal, but mostly it happened when Manchester City had already scored a goal and therefore City no longer had to rush headlong into the attack to score a goal. Although it is worthy of respect how Inter was able to pin City to their goal at the end of the match and, with luck, could transfer the game to extratime, although it seemed before that Inter already had less strength left in the last quarter of the match than City. I agree that it is a sad day, but maybe the tone of your post is a bit too pessimistic. Inter Milan played and outstanding game and as you said all those teams reaching the finals is a very positive result overall. Of course as an individual club or player or also the fans going home with empty hands never feels good. But looking back who would have thought that three Italian teams are in three European finals of the different competitions and who would have thought that Inter Milan was about to beat Manchester City not with luck, but because they even had the better chances? It might be a sad day as you said, but not a sad year if you sum up everything Italian teams achieved.

Pep has always been the man to win the champions league this season and it all went well in his favor, but the problem is that all 3 Italian teams went into the finals and lost all. Is something to worry about, although Inter played better than the other 2 teams, talking about Fiorentina and Roma.

I'm not surprised. Man City's quality has been evident from the start. They have star players with fantastic salaries. Although this is the first UCL trophy for Pep with Man City. Even for Inter I didn't predict that they could get to the Final. Inter are having an incredible season. Despite being poor in Serie A, they were able to perform well in the UCL. I think it's a good result for them. Inter became the underdog club and they made it to the Final. Good achievement for them.  Inzagi needs to stay at Inter, they only need additional players in a few positions.

It's very hard to think if juventus will be winning conference league next season. Even though juventus can be considered as an elite club that playes in conference league next season but remember that even the small and mediocre team in the conference league will able to beat juventus.
