Even if Bayern is displaced from the first spot this season and didn't win the trophy, it doesn't mean Kane's effort is futile, he is the surest player to win the Golden Boot this season. As of Bayer Leverkusen, I believe they will keep on challenging Bayern Munich but I don’t think they will be able to get the top spot this season, last season was in their favor.  but this season it will be difficult for them to achieve the league title. 6 points is still enough and long way way for Bayer Leverkusen Bayern Munich are still ahead of them with 6 points which is enough.

No surprises in Munich. St Pauli caused them some trouble but eventually Bayern collected another 3 points and defended their 6 points advantage over Leverkusen.

Borussia Dortmund is finally showing some improvement, after two embarrassing losses to Leipzig and Augsburg, they finally put themselves together and noted a comfy win over a tough rival, Mainz (currently 4th). Hope to see them play at their 100% in the UCL quarter-final against Barcelona next week.

Vincent Kompany is absolutely one of the best thing to happen to the Bavarians this season. They've come a long way to entangled good running with the club and have become absolutely stationed club with more priorities to comprehend. Bayern Munich will always be one step ahead of other rivals because they're formidable club and equipped winning with instant planning.

While other clubs are just not determined. We're referring to clubs like Borrusia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen lack one thing and that's consistency. They can be at their peak for just a season and next season, they're flopping in games and unable to clear their head round a circulated win.

Seems like Bayern Munich will be running away with this one as Sane just put his team ahead to make it 3 - 1 for the home side. Harry kane played a one-two with Olise and he made a low cross to Sane who was running behind him on the other side of the field. Same puts it away with a cool finish to give Bayern Munich a breathing space in the game.

I will say in that game Bayern Munich were lucky to go with the three points because what if St Pauli had equalized because they had a handful of chances to make things go bad for their hosts. I still believe that anything can happen and with Leverkusen being their closest competition, if they( Bayern Munich) misbehave, there will be no trophy for Vincent Kompany and Harry Kane to carry and all his goals and record will just be for nothing. If they, Bayern Munich happens to bottle the league to Bayern Leverkusen it will surely lead to more mockery on Harry Kane and maybe people will further believe that the Harry Kane course might be true. Last season when they lost the title for the first time in 10 year, coincidentally that was also the season Harry Kane joined Bayern Munich from Tottenham Hotspur and many called it the Kane course. So, if same is to happen again this season despite Bayern Munich being in the summit for this long and eventually losses it, then I believe most people will definitely blame Kane for it.

It is stupid  for anyone to actually believe that there's anything as such as Kane curse. The player has been in his A-level in every season all the years with Tottenham Hotspur, it's just unfortunate he had to spend his prime with a trophyless team because with his individual performances he ought to have won major trophies if he was playing in a club like Bayern Munich for the past years. Bayern Munich won't bottle this league, for it's not feasible with how inconsistent Leverkusen performance has been. Alonso gave us a shocking record last season but this season Bayern has returned to claim their place in the league.

You argue that if Dortmund wins 5 games of the remaining 7 games, they will definitely finish in a Champions League spot. That makes no sense. They are 7 points behind Mainz and if Mainz gets 8 points out of their last 7 games, then your calculations are wrong. The chances are extremely small for Dortmund and I think 17 points would be what they need out of the last 7 games if they want to have a chance. Losing 2 games would not be sufficient I think.

That means Dortmund will lose the chance to play in the Champions League next season and that is quite painful because previously Dortmund were one of the Bundesliga teams who always qualified for the Champions League. That assumption could also be achieved when Mainz lost concentration in several games which ended in defeat but depending on the conditions it is not in Dortmund's favor.

They are also quite busy facing Barcelona in the Champions League so that will affect the conditions when playing in the Bundesliga, the chances are quite small and if they succeed it might be quite lucky for Dortmund this season.

Yes and any of the small chances they had are dwindling of course and for Dortmund, qualifying for the Champions League has been essential. Usually they are a team that raises young players, gives them the right stage and then has these important transfers that make them a hundred million and more, but this time it will be much more difficult for many reasons.

I watched this game and I confess that Leverkusen was playing so badly that it seemed like a team from the Bundesliga relegation zone was playing. Honestly, having lost this game clearly shows how this season's Leverkusen are very weak compared to last season's Leverkusen. They were eliminated by an opponent who, if my memory serves me right, in past years were relegated from the Bundesliga and are now in League 3 if I'm not mistaken.

what did Xabi do for the club to play so badly? Even though they had so many chances and in the end they missed so many chances. It's really frustrating for me to see it.

With this, I'm sure that Leverkusen this season will really have 0 trophies.

Not only Haaland because there are many other players they sold who eventually developed enough in their new teams. I'm not so worried about young players because Dortmund are known to have the ability to develop them. But the problem is they always sell talented young players to make money. Haaland was bought also not one of the talented young players but Dortmund were able to develop him so many teams wanted him.

It's been a difficult season for Dortmund and they will miss out on the opportunity to compete in a big competition next season. The opportunity to face Barcelona is not easy and it is certain that they have no chance of qualifying for the next round in the Champions League.

But Barcelona isn't playing as if they are about to underestimate any opponent and Lewa is on fire again. As a former Dortmund player he will be absolutely thrilled to play that game in the Dortmund stadium and that is bad news for Dortmund.

I was not expecting them to win the championship league but I was expecting them to do better I mean go far than this because of there performance last season, they played unbeaten in all match but they lost against Atlanta in that trophy. Imagine losing yesterday to that small team, that was the least result I was expecting from Bayern Leverkusen in that match and if they continue like this I doubt if they have hope of any trophy this season because Bayern Munich will put In more effort to win the league.

Seriously, do you still think Leverkusen can catch Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga title race?

6 points does seem close, because it's only equivalent to 2 matches. But their opponent in chasing points is Bayern Munich, they're not a team whose good form is easily lost. There are only 7 games left in the Bundesliga, and you know, there are 3 tough games for Leverkusen to play (IMO).

- Freiburg - Leverkusen
- Leverkusen - Borussia Dortmund
- Mainz - Leverkusen

Once again I ask, does anyone really think that Leverkusen can win the Bundesliga title this season?

What happened I think Leverkusen could not defend the title they had won last season with a fairly good advantage. If you judge this season, Leverkusen has indeed declined, but they are still performing well. It's just that the competition from Munich is getting tighter and Munich has managed to excel.

All the other and smaller Teams in the German League just have catched up and learned from the last season how to play against Leverkusen.

Specially yesterday in the DFB Cup they played not good and Arminia Bielefeld was fighting for every Ball.

None of the 8 teams in the Champions League quarter-finals can be considered weak. Let's not forget that Dortmund qualified for the final last season. Dortmund was not a favorite. Even then, the team managed to reach the final. We know that Dortmund is not in good form this season. The situation of this team in the Bundesliga is very bad.
