The point you mentioned is certainly correct because Bayern Munich always thinks they are the best team due to the lack of strong rivals, but in reality that is not true. They have lost every time they have faced Inter Milan in the Champions League, except in their domestic league. So I think the Bundesliga needs a lot more strong teams who can always fight well. Bayern Munich is definitely a top-class team in the Bundesliga, but we saw that their performance in the UCL match was not at a top-class level. Only the experienced Thomas Muller was able to score a goal against Inter Milan, and Muller has been able to do the necessary work for the team even in his old age.

This match will be played next Saturday and we don't know if Bayern Munich considers this match important because they have a more important match in the Champions League well, we know they certainly prioritize the Champions League which means there is a possibility that main players will be rested. However I think Bayern Munich does not want to lose then the worst result is just a draw, imo. Bayern Munich currently leads the standings by 6 points if they only collect 1 point in this match it will be fine.

Dortmund are currently in 8th position with 41 points and they still have a chance to climb to the top 4 or the champions league zone well Dortmund will try to get 3 points to stay competitive moreover, their hopes in the Champions League this season seem to have disappeared.

Both teams are not at their best after getting bad results in the CL, that could make Der Klassiker this time less interesting. Maybe you mean Inter because if you only write Milan some people will think that it is "AC Milan". I've just watched highlights of Bayern Vs Inter and Bayern has nothing to be ashamed of. They were clearly a better team and created more chances, but they couldn't convert. It happens, such is football. They are still only one goal behind so can turn things around.

I noticed media are trying to steer some drama saying that Thomas Muller is blaming Harry Kane for the loss because of the great chance he had in the first half but missed, e.g.:

The way I read it, Muller didn't say anything inappropriate, just stated a fact. Hope that doesn't affect the team's morale before the 2nd leg.
