I don't know how but Mainz managed to draw with the team at the bottom of the standings somehow.    After watching this I have just lost my faith in them to finish in top 4. This is their 3rd time in a row losing points in the league by the way...

Dortmund destroyed Freiburg by 4-1 away today. Who could have thought so? The odds given to Dortmund win must be over 2.00. They are really full of surprises. But no, still not changing my thought about them for the Champions League just because of winning 2 consecutive games.

  Literally everyone. 4-1 or 0-4 are equally likely results for Dortmund. What Champions League are you talking about? Barcelona? They are unlikely to be as lucky as last year. If you are talking about top 4 and a ticket to the Champions League, I think it is unrealistic. Dortmund will lose points and there are too many competitors ahead of them to hope to beat them all.

This season Leverkusen has a poor background in the Bundesliga league, and that’s why everybody is seeing their performances as if they are not serious this season, but look at their recent matches; there are a lot of changes because they put in much effort to package their performances so that they can be able to take over the top of the standings from Bayern Munich.

And if Leverkusen is playing against the bottom club, then there is no way that they would have been able to win Leverkusen because there is already a difference in strength and Leverkusen is in form and they won't spare them when it comes to their game against Heidenheim because they have their difference and this is why am not even going back in this kind of prediction because people often, and if not that Bayern is holding a very strong ground Leverkusen would have to overtake them but Bayern would not let that happen that is why there is so many easy prediction because most times you can predict a game because you know their strength differences.

Seeing that last season Bayern Munich lost the trophy and it came off as a really big deal for them, they will not compromise anything enough to loose out in title race this season again, they are going to make sure to put in their very best to get the most out of the league this period,  and make sure they end up winning the title by the end of the season so for Leverkusen it's going to be a really huge contention which they may never get to scale through especially this season except they hope to try again next season but they get the continue privilege to secure a spot at the champions next season. This is going to be one amongst other times they qualify for the Champions League in a row.

I think it was a valuable win for Munich. With this win, Leverkusen's chances of staying in the match are further away, but the hosts are the team that makes Munich nervous. They managed to open the lead, but the quality of Munich's forwards made it difficult for the hosts to defend for long, and I don't think Kompany could have done much with their defense here.

This is serious, if care is not taking we surely we see a dramatic end in the Bundeslliga. The point difference between Bayern Munich and Leverkusen is not 4 points which is very close for the gap to cover in the next 6 games. Anything is possible in the league, many persons already said Bayern Munich will win the league now things are becoming to look different.

Bayern Munich next match is against Dortmund they may not win in that match. Leverkusen will be playing against Union Berlin which i think they might win. Funny enough the gap might get close to 1 difference next weekend.

Your thinking is very logical in this regard because basically before a team is crowned as the champion of the season, of course, it is still because of the opportunities for other teams such as in the case of Leverkusen at the moment. I also wouldn’t rule out every game that is still left in the Bundesliga season because every game is an opportunity for the two teams chasing the title, namely Munich and Leverkusen. So it would be better not to underestimate Leverkusen even though the points gap is still visible in the standings, but it is not a big deal if Munich can lose two of the six remaining matches.

Did you really expect Leverkusen to win back to back?? Last season was a miracle season for them, their first real title ever. Of course they could not repeat this, I said this before the season even started. being this close to Bayern already surprises me to be honest, and that's only because Bayern had several brain farts this season as well. Normally if Bayern gets destroyed in 1 season they always bounce back even stronger, that's normal for them. Now they don't even have to dominate since the rest of the pack gives away points frequently as well.
Everybody also expected BVB to have a bounce back season and we all see what happened with them.

I agree with this point of view,  6 games against 6 points difference is enough for a whole lot to take place, a typical expectation in this manner whereby Bayern Leverkusen gets to win 4, draw the other two and Bayern Munich draws 3 loose 1 and win the other two can cost Bayern Munich the title, severally other scenarios could still play out around this game and Bayern Munich can loose the trophy,  they will have to maintain a consistency of winning the next four games in a row to express utmost certainty on them to win the trophy as Leverkusen still have a slim chance based on circumstances to deny Bayern Munich of the title,  so never say never till it's over.

Harry Kane was one of the most contributing players who helped Bayern Munich reach the first position. Bayern Munich has a big chance to win the Bundesliga title this season, they must not be careless in the remaining matches because Leverkusen still has the potential to catch up if they make a mistake.

This season was Harry Kane's first record breaking cupless legend but it was different this season and I like that, finally his career is paying off. LOL

No I don't see it going badly but we need to note that Xabi is progressing well and it is very natural for him as a novice in coaching to have to learn more and learn how the competition can change as fast as time, season ii taught him a lesson because there were mistakes he made at the beginning of the season that made Leverkusen lose more points because their performance was unstable due to poor decisions in the match strategy.

It had been bad by all metrics, just because the other teams in the second tier are performing worse than them it doesn't excuse their game, in the last season, they lost only 12 points, now there are 6 matches left, and they have already lost 22 points, nearly double the score.

Let's look at their victory, ok, they made 3 points, by scoring in the 91st minute against Heidenheim, is that champion-style play?
They are just lucky that the others play just as bad, Mainz making heavy weather at a game with Kiel of all teams while Frankfurt disspoiiting again and again, now this time with Bremen. As for Freiburg, 3 points in 5 games, common!!!!

It's definitely not 10 fixtures left but 6. Only six games left this season for we to say bye bye to Bundesliga campaign of 2024/25 season. With 6 points gap between Bayern Munich and Bayern Leverkusen, if both teams keeps on winning, then the league leaders needs to win 4 games and a draw in the league to be crowned champions of the league for this season. Obviously, Harry Kane will win the golden boot and as such I want him to also win his first ever trophy in his career.

For a club coming into this season as the defending champions after such a spectacular season before this season with a record breaking invincible achievement I think this is definitely a poor season for them. I would have reiterated that it is not a bad season had they been departures after such good season but their wasn’t any player that was sold off so I actually thought for once in many decades that a Bundesliga club will put Bayern Munich off the tittle for two seasons in a row.

Personally I think Bayer Leverkusen should’ve used this period of Bayern Munich been unstable to cement a position as their Bundesliga biggest rival but it is looking like a one season wonder if they fail to win anything this season. The league seemed to be over yesterday not until Buendia’s injury time goal against struggling Heidenheim who many thought would have shipped in many goals against Leverkusen but the Xabi Alonso boys were themselves poor yesterday

I was talking about top 4 of course. Otherwise hell yeah they have no chance against Barcelona.    Their chances for top 4 is even a little higher than eliminating Barcelona in my opinion. But both are very unlikely at the end.


Bayern Munich and Leverkusen both finished this week without point losses. But for once I really doubted Leverkusen... They did it again though. The last minute scoring thing.   

Still a 6-point gap before the last 6 weeks of the season. And still not believing in Leverkusen to be champions...

Being in 2nd position with a 6 point difference from Munich is very difficult to catch up in my opinion, why? because the Bundesliga game is not too sharp, those in 3rd position and below are not so strong against Munich, so it is likely that Munich will win the Bundesliga, indeed in every match it cannot be denied but we also have to be realistic, Munich has a fantastic squad in the Bundesliga with an extraordinary budget and their players are also very talented so there is no way they will waste the remaining opportunities to win the trophy, therefore I am sure Leverkusen is the runner up this season.

Leverkusen has also not been so strong lately after losing to Munich in the Champions League, they seem to lack in their mental game, their mentality has decreased greatly, especially losing painfully to a 3rd caste team in Germany, that is clearly not a good mentality, and a last minute victory against Heidenheim with a score of 0-1 for Leverkusen we can see how much their game has decreased so about the Bundesliga trophy I think Munich has it.
