Now almost everyone thinks Bayern Munich is the champion. Bayer Leverkusen still has a chance mathematically but to be honest when we look at the fixtures we see that Bayern Munich is the champion. Leverkusen will now fight to finish the league in second place and probably finish in second place. They will be in the Champions League next year and we saw this year that the team needs new transfers. It is not certain whether Xabi will be there next year or not, if he stays at the helm next year I have no doubt that he will take the team to a better level.

Bayern Munich as we know are now in a very difficult position in the UEFA Champions League competition after they suffered a 1:0 defeat at home against Inter Milan in the first leg of their quarter final tie and might not be able to overturn the deficit when they travel to Milan this week but wether they eliminate Inter Milan or not, I don't think they'll end the season without the German Bundesliga title

Leverkusen really wasting their chance to become a champion, how can they can't beat Union Berlin in their home. I think it will be funny if Bayern Munich slip in this season, it's really like the arrival of Kane give curse for Bayern Munich who win streak before Kane came despite how good his performance.

I'm rooting for Leverkusen to become a champion, I want to see people are discussing about Kane again.

I admit Munich has a great chance, but it doesn't mean Dortmund can't put up a fight. That's why you choose to bet on that option. On the one hand, both teams have the same interests at the moment with their respective goals and as I said before, Munich will not lose at home.

I did not expect Munich defense to be so fragile today unlike usual and they had to lose first before equalizing in the second half, on the other hand Dortmund did not waste many opportunities. Today I just keep wondering if the two team i.e Bayern Munich and Leverkusen always decide on same thing for their matches. Imagine they both lose see weeks back and here they are today with both playing draw. I expected Leverkusen to have made use of today opportunity to close the gap between them and Bayern Munich but they to end up in draw. I don't see any hope in Leverkusen to win the league title.

It was just a coincidence that they had the same result a few weeks ago and also yesterday basically in football sometimes when a team loses and expects another club to take advantage of the opportunity but what happened was not the result we expected, both teams got opponents who each had different performances Leverkusen got a goalless draw while Bayern Munich got a draw with 2 goals each, so it's not intentional that they play at the same level because every club definitely wants to show a better game than its competitors.

Seriously speaking, it seems suspicious whether there is agreement between Leverkusen and Bayern Munich because this coincidence is too often. Perhaps, the success of last season has gotten into Leverkusen head and they are still very satisfied with it without having any more interest to retain the championship this season again.

Leverkusen poor performance this season is alarming especially during these rounding up campaign because this was not the way they started their season. On a norms they should win that yesterday game for the fact that they played at their home ground. They now give Bayern Munich more comfort to relax on the table top. I think it's now clear that what happened last season was as a result of Bayern Munich not being in a good form and it wasn't because Leverkusen was much better.

With a 6 point advantage I think it is still not safe for Munich because Leverkusen still has a chance to overtake. But it seems like it will be a difficult mission Leverkusen this season is not the same as Leverkusen from the previous season.

Of course 6point is not that much for team like leverkusen to cover, but with thier performance this season I don't think if that will be possible because bayern munich is very consistent with thier performance this season, so for the fact that they draw thier previous match does not mean that they have reduced from their form. We should know how football works most times if a team have been wining for sometime, some day they might likely end up with a score of draw or even lose against thier opponent. But that does not mean that they won't win thier next match.

I knew Leverkusen could trip on Union Berlin, just like Bayern did a few weeks ago. A chance of reducing the gap to 4 points was wasted. Leverkusen was dominant with 75% possession and more than twice as many shots on goal as Union, but they couldn't convert that into goals and possibly ruined their chances of defending the title, as there are only 5 rounds to go.

Despite the 2-2 draw, I think it was a fairly decent game by Bayern, at least in terms of domination and creating chances. They made 28 shots on goal (11 on target), which is really high and they probably should've scored more than 2 goals from all that. Borussia was quite lucky to be coming home with one point.
It could be a bit concerning to Bayern's fans that they are losing points much more often than they did earlier in the season, e.g, they won only 2 out of their last 5 league games, but I doesn't look like Leverkusen will be able to seriously threaten them with the season coming to an end soon.

Leverkusen is one of the worst teams I can see at the end of the season, what exactly is causing them to waste this huge opportunity to close the gap with Bayern Munich?  Leverkusen failed to score a single goal against Union Berlin, and I was not expecting the match to be 0-0, I expected Leverkusen to learn from their previous two games, where they had to win by a narrow score.

Furthermore, Leverkusen has what it takes to defeat any team in the Bundesliga, but they have become weak this season, maybe due to tiredness from their previous season unbeaten record. My hopes for Leverkusen this season have ended, they became weak since being knocked out of the Champions League, scoring few goals and losing an important game that they should have won to improve their league points. Bayern Munich will be the champions this season with only five games remaining and Leverkusen behind by six points.

They tried their best and dominated the game most but they were unable to end the match in a win, but rather in a draw. When you check the stats of this match from the possession to everything positive in the stats, Bayern Munich dominated it far much better than Borussia Dortmund.

Leverkusen's problem is that even with only one competition to concentrate on, they can't put up a good performance. Before this draw, they had three wins in a row, but they had lost a game earlier. They have two defeats in the Bundesliga this season, but too many draws, which is why the gap to Bayern is so big. I was really surprised as i have seen the result of the game from Bayern Munich against Dortmund yesterday , and i was happy about it even i lost my bet here.
With that few games left in this season its possible that Dortmund can make it to for an spot for the Champions League but for that other teams have to lose there games.
Fingers crossed that they can manage it in some way to get there , but the focus will be on the next game agains Barca at home for Dortmund.

It was a bit of a shame that Bayern Munich only managed to get a draw but overall it's not a bad effort, Bayern Munich dominated the match from all side and at least 28 shots were fired they should have scored 4 goals but unfortunately luck was not on their side, compare with Dortmund with 11 shots 3 on target lucky 2 scored. This kind of thing could happen even though they have tried their best, but luck is on the opponent's side, yeah this is something that cannot be denied.

The good thing is Leverkusen also draw so there is nothing to worry about and Bayern Munich are still in a safe position. By the way, did Bayern Munich play more cautiously to avoid injuries? we know they have an important match in the Champions League or can be called a life and death match so they need to prepare everything, that makes sense.

This was like one of the rarest opportunities for them to drop the gap with Bayern Munich. It would have been 4 points now. But they just turned down the chance. It seems like I was never wrong with being confident about Bayern Munich to win the league title much earlier.

6 points in 5 games, it starts to be mathematically impossible since you need not only the 4 teams above to lose that but also the ones below to not make it 5 wins, besides, when was the last time Dortmund won 5 matches in a row?

Xabi must know better what his players need. However, Leverkusen can't continue to get bad results. The next match against St. Pauli should not be a tough match. But the result of the match against Union Berlin must give them valuable experience. Of the five remaining matches this season, if Leverkusen can play well, it should be no problem to win all of them. That way they will only depend on Munich's performance.
