I thought they just were very lucky during the early phase of the season, but they are proving every week that there is real quality at play within their team, an outstanding motivation and mentality. Streich is repeating his performances as a coach almost every season and when Freiburg sucks for a couple of months, Streich doesn't get sacked by their management. That is a great attitude compared to all those other rich clubs. This proves that mentality and consistency can also get you quite far.

That was well phrased and their confidence isn't going to decrease with every point they are winning right now. When they had their draw against Hertha with a 2:2 and then the 5:0 loss against Bayern some weeks ago, I thought that's the moment when Freiburg might more or less fall apart. Not like falling down to relegation rankings, but I certainly didn't expect a solid winning streak against Bremen, Schalke and Cologne with goal stats of 6:0! That is what really impressed me and they deserve to be in the table where they are.

Dortmund lost the match. Dortmund conceded the first goal of the match in just 6 minutes. And they conceded the second goal after 90 minutes in extra time.
