I don't know how they would possibly move past RB Leipzig and SC Freiburg, they can only if they work more on their midfield and attack, which I don't think it's feasible without buying players.

If only they work it is possible for them to make second position  that's if only they can work hard. But I'm not still sure about Union Berlin because Freiburg and Leipzig are fighting seriously to maintain the second and third position. it is clear that cristiano is not a target for bayern, reportedly bayern confirms that cristiano's salary is very high besides that his age is not young anymore but if cristiano wants to reduce his salary maybe he will be considered. The performance at which teams showcase in the beginning of season won't always remain the same. Some teams performs better in the beginning of the season and as the season keeps going they find it difficult to maintain their good performance while some other team starts poor in the beginning of the season and later on improve in performance.

Union Berlin have done what they can in the Bundesliga, despite their drop in the standings, it hasn't changed the public's perception of them as a very good team in their last few seasons in the Bundesliga. About Bayern Munich, we can't lie to ourselves that they have ruled the Bundesliga for the last few seasons and also for the next few seasons, they are unstoppable from becoming a team that will win from season to season. The team that is currently in my focus is Wolfsburg, they seem to have started to improve, you can see that from their matches (9 matches unbeaten), maybe we will see them back at the top of the standings at the end of the season.
