Dortmund's performance is not that bad. Im not seeing if selling the players has been preventing dortmund from moving forward. In fact, dortmund can still play better from one week to another week. Im thinking that if what you are saying was not true.

@MarjorieZimmermanGinger I personally believe that the key here was Dortmund selling them their key player’s and had Dortmund taken a stand of not selling them then it would have been pretty different for Bayern but then again Dortmund was always interested making money only so not really surprised that they sold to their direct rival. Furthermore other clubs failed because they lacked the winning mentality that Bayern has and until they learn to cultivate it they won’t win the league title.

Bundesliga belongs to Bayern Munich because they've proven beyond doubts about their stand over the decades, we understands how dominated the team is and have inflicted frighten minds on their opponents when they clash. Borussia Dortmund would have been in that position but the team's board is all about making hugh profits from the sales of talented players in the club. Having no stands to fight with the Bavarians for the title because there's absolutely no current players left to fight, all have been sold to elite teams, I think is high time they start using these brilliant players to fight for Bundesliga title.

Dortmund have sold their key players so they won't be upset at all because it's their business. Dortmund play on the emotions of their supporters. Whenever they see a talented player in their club they sell that player to another club at a high price. Jude Bellingham is not the first talented player that Dortmund have sold, the club has sold many talented players before. Trading is not wrong but should get the most out of those talented players and then trade them. If Dortmund had kept all the talented players they have sold so far and focused on improving the club's performance, they could have been the best in Europe by now. We will see something similar from this club in the coming seasons as well. They never play for honor their main objective is to earn money.

Basically we could say Dortmund is more business oriented than trying to get some more trophies to their name, it's true Dortmund has consistently become a ground to breed excellent talents in the German bundesliga and end up selling them at high prices, these players in some cases came from they junior team and some are been bought and trained

If only Dortmund had wait a little more before selling these players off maybe they could have been of good help to the team in achieving some more trophies but then it's seeming like that's not their purpose of training these players but never the less they are not doing too bad in the bundesliga only that they would have done better and probably become the best contenders with Munich.

They have always finished in good positions and hasn't been relegated so if they are comfortable with that then I think it's within their management to decide but then I'm very sure the fans would really want to have them win trophies and this can be achieved if only they will slowdown on selling their young talent for a while, win a trophy then they can sell off if they want.

You're right they started very poorly but currently they've picked up and are doing well, currently they're in the 4th place on the table and are having same points with Bayern Munchen who're in the 3rd place, with just 2 points separating them from the league leaders Leverkusen, just like last season Dortmund are very strong contenders, though they're not very strong like they were last season due to the lose of their star player Jude Bellingham, if he were still in the club I believe they would had been in a better position and probably win all their matches so far.

People are sleeping on Leipzig, they may not look like they are at the top but they usually do not start the season that well and end a lot better, if they could stay within couple points of the leader, then they could end the season better like they usually do and could fight for a top spot.

Leipzig is currently in 6th position, 5 points adrift of the top of the standings. In the last 3 matches in two competitions, Leipzig did not win, two drew in the Bundesliga and lost one match when they hosted City in the Champions League group phase. It seems that Leipzig's journey to the top four of the standings will not be as easy as we think, because currently the teams in the top four of the standings are in quite good form. which means, Marco Rose and his team squad have to work hard to overthrow the teams that will be their opponents in the Bundesliga. including in the second meeting against Leverkusen, because in the first meeting Leipzig lost to the squad coached by Xabi Alonso. Let's see how Marco Rose brings his team squad to be in the top 4 of the Bundesliga standings.

Dortmund always have a not so good start and this gives us the fact that this team will only recover after some bad results. Dortmund will still continue to improve its current position and they still have the capability to do that. Losing star players is not a problem because this team has a strategy that can keep them alive in the Bundesliga competition with Bayern Munich. Now, Dortmund may not have fully recovered, but slowly but surely they will soon improve their previous decline in performance. Even though Leverkusen and Stuttgart occupy positions 1 and 2, it won't be long and the return of Dortmund and Bayern Munich will continue to dominate the Bundesliga as they should.

In fact, yesterday's meeting resulted in a draw where the strengths of both were quite good. As one of the only three German clubs never to have suffered a defeat in the German Bundesliga this season, how does Borussia Dortmund start to the season been a bad one?
They're just two points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen. Though they've not been too good in the UEFA Champions League competition as they've drawn one and lost one of the two games they've played in the European competition this season. Like last season's position, that's more or less what Leipzig will get, being in the top four to still be able to play in the Champions League. Dortmund isn't really doing bad to start giving a verdict on them at this times, let's not forget that Dortmund in the recent past Haas successfully breed good and brilliant young players, in the likes of Jude and haland but they end up always selling them off most often so I think it's very possible before the end of the season there could be the rise of another star.

This could mean they may turn out very good than expected of them and most likely out perform others but their biggest challenge will still remains Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. Dortmund would had been very tough to play against if they still had Halaand, Sancho and most especially Jude Bellingham currently in the team, they would had cause havoc for Bayern and probably stop their dominance in the Bundesliga but instead of keeping their players so as to be strong enough to win title they rather choose to enjoy the financial benefits that comes from  selling them for a huge offer.

Of course it is not an easy thing for a club which is currently struggling to compete with Bayern Munich in the race for the Bundesliga title and perhaps it is still too early to say that these two clubs have the ability to compete with Bayern Munich. Finances are one of the big obstacles for other clubs in the Bundesliga to compete with Bayern Munich because they are unable to recruit players who have the same quality as Bayern Munich. It is pretty much unfair just because Bayern Munich has a lot of finances to win in the Bundesliga for sure but for Leverkusen to be this good and for sure doesn't need a lot of sum to be like this I really think that the other teams are still doing fine excepts for Bochum, Mainz and Koln right now as they are still finding ways they can win even with only 1 but for sure Leverkusen Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Dortmund and even Stuttgart is doing massively fine,

Bundesliga We always see a tough competition but this season we are going to see perhaps the toughest competition ever. There are some common clubs in the Bundesliga who are doing well on a regular basis but outside of those regular clubs this season there are quite a few clubs who are doing very well and are hoping for a consistent performance. Bayern Munich and Dotmund were the toughest opponents in the Bundesliga before, but this season we see new tough opponents outside of these two clubs. 

Stuttgart, Leverkusen, these teams are promising to be good contenders. Where Bayern Munich is supposed to be number one in the Bundesliga, these two clubs are now number one and number two, so we can definitely think that Bayern Munich and Dortmund will have a tough competition with these two clubs.

Right now Bundesliga is really exciting for sure, just because the other teams the angst about getting an equal footing with the Dominant Champion sure this season is exciting for sure for Fans of the other teams because they are seeing a challenging Bundesliga for sure that what is keeping this more exciting,

Now Stuttgart and Leverkusen will need to continue this stretch for sure as they are doing well right now,

Yes, I also have the same assumption as you, Dortmund's performance at the beginning of the season did not look too promising, they were still below the top five in the standings, but as time went by it could not be predicted that it turned out that they could now crawl up to enter the top five and now their position is in fourth place in the standings, honestly I think this is quite consistent, last season they were the only team that gave strong resistance to Bayern Munich, always chasing in the race for the top of the standings but well as we know they were not lucky enough so that the trophy was again won by Tuchel's squad. For the problem of the business of selling players that they always go through, honestly I will not fully say that it does not interfere, obviously the entry and exit of players is quite a heavy task and of course they need time to start adapting, and I think that adaptation is a tough task for Dortmund, that's why sometimes they are difficult to appear consistent, but well it's not always like that and now Dortmund have proven that they are able to rise to join the title race as usual.

Yes, maybe the business activities that they always do are one of their goals to keep their finances stable and also of course with a little profit, that's possible.

In my opinion, Dortmund is also like this last season they will start poorly but eventually gain momentum in getting wins sure they just got a poor start, and eventually Dortmund may get their pace on the go for sure I believe that they are making progress as for their last game in the Bundesliga but in the UEFA Championship surely it was a draw for them against Milan, but I think they can eventually can get over this,

@MarjorieZimmermanGinger I personally believe that the key here was Dortmund selling them their key player’s and had Dortmund taken a stand of not selling them then it would have been pretty different for Bayern but then again Dortmund was always interested making money only so not really surprised that they sold to their direct rival. Furthermore other clubs failed because they lacked the winning mentality that Bayern has and until they learn to cultivate it they won’t win the league title.

Bundesliga belongs to Bayern Munich because they've proven beyond doubts about their stand over the decades, we understands how dominated the team is and have inflicted frighten minds on their opponents when they clash. Borussia Dortmund would have been in that position but the team's board is all about making hugh profits from the sales of talented players in the club. Having no stands to fight with the Bavarians for the title because there's absolutely no current players left to fight, all have been sold to elite teams, I think is high time they start using these brilliant players to fight for Bundesliga title.

Dortmund have sold their key players so they won't be upset at all because it's their business. Dortmund play on the emotions of their supporters. Whenever they see a talented player in their club they sell that player to another club at a high price. Jude Bellingham is not the first talented player that Dortmund have sold, the club has sold many talented players before. Trading is not wrong but should get the most out of those talented players and then trade them. If Dortmund had kept all the talented players they have sold so far and focused on improving the club's performance, they could have been the best in Europe by now. We will see something similar from this club in the coming seasons as well. They never play for honor their main objective is to earn money.

Basically we could say Dortmund is more business oriented than trying to get some more trophies to their name, it's true Dortmund has consistently become a ground to breed excellent talents in the German bundesliga and end up selling them at high prices, these players in some cases came from they junior team and some are been bought and trained

If only Dortmund had wait a little more before selling these players off maybe they could have been of good help to the team in achieving some more trophies but then it's seeming like that's not their purpose of training these players but never the less they are not doing too bad in the bundesliga only that they would have done better and probably become the best contenders with Munich.

They have always finished in good positions and hasn't been relegated so if they are comfortable with that then I think it's within their management to decide but then I'm very sure the fans would really want to have them win trophies and this can be achieved if only they will slowdown on selling their young talent for a while, win a trophy then they can sell off if they want.

That's exactly the point about Dortmund. They care about earning more money than anything else and for a team like Dortmund earning more money from selling their players is the first priority otherwise they could keep players like Jude Bellingham and Haaland and have much better performance than they have right now. I think but using these players, Dortmund could even have much more chance of winning the title in Bundesliga than Bayern Munich.
