Just a few months at Union Berlin doesn't seem to have made Leonardo Bonucci happy and he even had an argument with previous coach Urs Fischer because he didn't get proper playing minutes. Even though Union Berlin has now changed to a new coach, Nenad Bjelica doesn't make him a priority and continues to fill the bench.

There are new rumors circulating that seeing Leonardo Bonucci's discomfort in Germany, the Turkish team, Fenerbahce, is interested in recruiting him and I don't think it's a bad offer if Leonardo Bonucci still wants to play and get decent minutes outside Europe's top league. The decision will still have to wait another week to determine his choice and I think he will have to leave considering that he is no longer as competitive as when he was younger.

Leipzig can be one of the most consistent teams of the Bundesliga over the years. Because I don't remember the last time they couldn't make it to top four. I see them in the Champions League every year. They don't have the best squad in the league maybe but their squad consists of really skilled players at the same time.

They are really good at making the right transfers for themselves. Only signing Werner back resulted in badly for them as he isn't able to perform like in the old times. Other than that they are doing just fine and making quite much money from the players they are selling on one hand.  

Leipzig has consistently finished in the top four for the last 5 seasons and thus, it can be assumed that Leipzig is a successful team and also consistent of course. Because after all, Leipzig is basically not a team that is considered to be a strong competitor in the Bundesliga title race . But ya, thefact that Leipzig managed to consistently finish in the top four and play in the Champions League in every season, so it is clearly a great achievement too of course.

In fact, at this moment even though there are teams like Bayer Leverkusen and also Stuttgart who managed to surprise, but the fact is that one remaining place in the top four can still be filled by Leipzig and not Dortmund . Therefore, at least Leipzig maybe really has better quality than Dortmund.

This is football and things can change very fast. The point difference is not much between Bayern Leverkusen and Bayern Munich. That is big news I have to say as Hans-Joachim Watzke has a long and profound history to look back on with Borussia Dortmund. They went through thick and thin and the most literal sense. They were almost bankrupt, or put in other words, they were bankrupt more or less and Watzke had to restructure them financially in essentially all areas. He did that successfully and Borussia Dortmund was again able to look forward to a bright future. I knew him from the Galaxy 11 ad that Samsung did way back in probably 2013. He was the coach of that team in the animated short film.  He was old, 78. He lived a good life as a football professional.  He should be respected and remembered throughout the whole football history. My condolences, the death might not be very unexpected as he was 78, however it still is not a bit less sad. And of course, him winning the Ballon D'or as a defender twice is most probably never going to happen again. especially the way football is shaping up to be in the future. He was a great mind for football as well.
