News, features and i believe we will see some webshops start accepting bitcoin soon.

Yes i really hope this coming year some big shop like amazon or wall mart will start accepting bitcoin payments.
If such a company accepts it, a lot of the smaller shops will do the same.

That's true and yes adoption will also play a key role in the success or failure of bitcoins in year 2016 as if the adoption level reaches to a new level then it can bring a revolution in the coming year and more and more people start knowing about the bitcoins will create a positive impact on bitcoins and surely it would reach to a next level the only thing we need is that bitcoins should be promoted in the best possible way.

I will be happy if Bitcoin reaches ath in 2016. I don't think we will reach mainstream adoption in 2016 it's too early for that imo.

Nobody is sure of that. Even if the halving does occur, that doesn’t mean that 2016 will be the year of bitcoin. The halving is really making people to buy bitcoin on the hope of price appreciations.
I too believe in online transactions, there would be a new beginning in the name of bitcoin era.

Luckily it is behind us, and also no dark market place has taken over the place of silk road. So you could be right we see a flourishing bitcoin in 2016.

Yeah the scams ended around december 2014, but you are right, in 2015 we also got the bitstamp hack.

As we all know 2015 was not a good year for bitcoin, and part of this was because all of those scams; hashie, josh garza and ltcgear.

All the things you have mentioned are just extra benefits. The new all time higher price is more than enough to make 2016 as a year of bitcoin. Once bitcoin scale higher values, all the developments like new features in wallet, adoption of bitcoin by market giants will happen automatically.

400 is good stop for now. 2016 might be the greatest rise if it will go until 600 It is reachable though. Because there are still more buyers there that is seeing the potential of bitcoin.

I agree that in 2016, thre will be more value and involvement in Bitcoin.  I have been sending messages to companies all over to please accept BTC for payment.  I even emailed eBay customer service and asked them to accept BTC as payment for their fees, not concerning myself with the auctions payments, just to make the payment to them.  I think if they would adopt this that they would be making a huge change to the market.  They did similar to PAYPAL and blasted the market through the roof.  Promote BTC with everyone.

That's a really nice initiate even I will start doing that and also suggest this to other Bitcoin users because when they receive more request from people to accept Bitcoin as a payment then definitely they will look into it.

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.
