2016, The Year of Bitcoin?

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

more people use and knows about bitcoin,more startup built,more ATM come,more corporation accept bitcoin,wallstreet consider about blockchain,and bitcoin halving. yes this year will be the year of bitcoin.

These all are on the way at the moment it is growing more strongly with real adoption and you will see marketing giant will start accepting soon into this year and after block halving price will increase dramatically to its highest price ever than before.

I think I will be paying more attention to the block size debate than anything. Sure, it would be nice for a mass adoption of merchants to start accepting Bitcoin as payment, but we can't even begin to think about that until the kinks "under the hood" have been fixed IMO. If a lot of people started using Bitcoin and began to really stress test/maxing out blocks, then I believe a lot of problems will be imminent... We'll see though, it's going to be exciting regardless due to halving speculations.

Yeah more merchants & ATM, but i expect some big companies with some BTC related service too.

If bitcoin achieves those magical number again some big holders will drop their coins and left,since a group is just waiting the time to get back their investment to left bitcoin,sure may be another great time to bitcoin and to get more bitcoiners,but in the end we will see a part of us leaving bitcoin ,selling all bitcoin,that would mean today 2x the investment and for some around 5x their investment soo for sure a great return that should damage bitcoin.

Yeah bitcoin is gaining more and more popularity day by day and it is constantly into the news and that is the best sign for bitcoin and its users as we want that more and more people should be aware of bitcoins and should start adopting it and start using it so I think bitcoin has a great future in the year 2016.

Although bitcoin prices have become more stable over time, they are still volatile. They are subject to heavy speculation, flash crashes, manipulation, intense short squeezes and all sorts of irrational behavior.

And if the last two years are any indication, bitcoin is going to make big moves early in the new year. However, as also observed in the last two years, what goes on in January and February is in no way indicative of how bitcoin will end this year.

What makes predicting long-term bitcoin prices so interesting is the fact that they are so difficult to predict. You may be better off throwing darts.

We really wish that the price of bitcoins should reach to that level but its difficult to predict what future holds for us when it comes to bitcoins, but yes the year 2016 would be definitely the better year for bitcoins as compared to the past and we want that the price should be more stable.

Yes, Bitcoin is seriously rising, but, don’t forget that bitcoin raised above $450-500 in last year 2015. The same ratio might happen in 2016 also, it will just rise to a new heights. Let us wait and watch to enjoy.

But I don’t think Bitcoin has any year, Bitcoin is just volatile, it rises and fall, so nobody is sure of that. Maybe it will rise or it may not.

I don't see much happening in the early period of the year to be honest, if I have to gamble with a prediction, I would say that we are going to see an huge uptrend by the time the halving comes simply because everyone is psychologically waiting something, so something must happen (beside the actual facts being positive about Bitcoin as it gets increasingly better).

Maybe because it is more rear prices will continue to grow providing their is more demands and more company's start using bitcoin. Right now market is saturated because nothing new is happening with it other that the same old trends. Once things move in up direction and growth and development moves in the right direction so will btc. The only thing I will see this year with the coin is same as always, no massive changes or improvements. Once they fix what is wrong maybe it will change but who knows.

As we can notice easilt this crypto currency (bitcoin) is growing up daily, and many ewallets and marketplaces started to use it as payment processor already , and the price is increasing, so it's possible 2016 become the year of the Bitcoin

year on year merchants have been accepting bitcoin as payment option, and the price has also been going up year on year. which makes every year so far "the year of bitcoin".
