2016, The Year of Bitcoin?

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

Yes, I am also confident on that. At year starting on 2015 many bitcoiners believe that 2015 would be better year of bitcoin than 2014, but, we saw only the opposite things happened. In January 2015 itself it fell to year's lowest price. But always hope for better. I pay for 2016 to be year for bitcoin.

I agree that in 2016, thre will be more value and involvement in Bitcoin.  I have been sending messages to companies all over to please accept BTC for payment.  I even emailed eBay customer service and asked them to accept BTC as payment for their fees, not concerning myself with the auctions payments, just to make the payment to them.  I think if they would adopt this that they would be making a huge change to the market.  They did similar to PAYPAL and blasted the market through the roof.  Promote BTC with everyone.

That is very nice of you to help spread the awareness of Bitcoin. Maybe next year more companies/business will get into Bitcoin as well as big investors and then price would only go in one direction and that is straight to the moon. It is good to promote Bitcoin in anyways you can, like advertisements, YouTube videos and more for people who don't know about Bitcoin yet, could dig in. I have very positive thoughts for 2016 and I think it will be a year full of excitement, and best of all profitable for us Bitcoin users. Just my opinion.

what innovations? don't think there is much that will innovate more than all the things we have right now already. it will be a special year only because of the block halving. that's all that's worth mentioning from what we know.

it not a good to say that 2016 will be a year of bitcoin
price will only go up in 2016 because of block reward halving
and it will always happen every 4 years
it will attract adoption because the price getting higher but i it will also go down again like what always happen
mass adoption or go in mainstream is still impossible

2015 was really great for bitcoin. For the first time in a long time we had some good price action.

I dont know why i just have this great conviction that the coming new year will be great for the bitcoin and the entire trading fraternity. I was sitting down and trying to imagine the possibilities present in this year to come, 2016. I see as if the digital currency will be accepted in very many countries across the globe. Another thing I am so sure with the fact of bitcoin being a formal currency in many countries, there will be an increased demand and thus the value will in turn increase too.

You are right.
if we see every field increase with 10% this coming year, it would be one of the best years of bitcoin.

But i think getting more merchants in, should be our main goal now.

Everything can grow in the Bitcoin economy, there aren't any limits to what can be done yet. We haven't fully exploited any facet.

Its more users, more merchants, more investors, more miners, more developers, more entrepreneurs, everything can continue to increase.
