2016, The Year of Bitcoin?

Many people in this forum said this year (2016) will be the years of bitcoin but bitcoin always fluctuations and even has down price under four hundred dollars.
Bitcoin can increase the price until around five thousand dollars, don't it ?

bitcoin now is in bad situation price getting down..it will be a bad early year but im sure will be good in middle and end year..
sure dude it will increase $500 until end of year..

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.

The fork issue is a distraction. It won't kill bitcoin. The majority will eventually choose what fork they want to use, whether it is the original, or XT, or some third option.

I see the fork issue as silly infighting which only hurts bitcoin. I want bitcoin to succeed, that's what I care about, not what version of BTC I use. I will go with the majority, whichever fork is chosen.

not sure,so far on opening of 2016 year,bitcoin is still fluctuate and not much surprise this year.

Fact is that we opened new year with 400 $, so that means something? Its double then last year. I hope this year will be better then last and if we see around 1000 $ at the end it will be success. That means only way is up, steady and safe.
Fact is that more and more people are joining every day and bitcoin community is growing.
Fact is that we have more and more ways to spend our bitcoins.
2016 will be the year of progress for bitcoin.

Lets be clear at one point bitcoin double the price from the last year to this one because halving,soo i believe we are out of the current value of it being around 300 dolalrs soo we are getting back to it,sure till end the year we may see bitcoin at 600 atleast i believe it will go up along the months.

yup in this we gonna see a big pump price range in bitcoin due to halving and many adaption.

I think every year is the triumph of bitcoin. Because every year despite bitcoin prices up and down but tends to increase.

On every year's beginning people are excited about possible opportunities, including bitcoin,  as there are over 300 day left to the next year, whe everything can happen. It's only symbolic, but influential thinking.
What about halving? Maybe ASIC manufacturers will quickly announce 2x more efficient chips and the whole impact of halving will be counteracted?

2015 is the year of turning point for bitcoin price comes out of bear market. 2016 is the year for bitcoin to be reported more in main stream media and used more as a currency

Each year people say exactly the same. The price will either reach a new ATH, or it will never go lower than a certain price level. All these people have been proven wrong by the Bitcoin price. It's the block halving that makes this year kinda special, but it won't be the year of Bitcoin. Every year can be seen as the year of Bitcoin as it's getting stronger and more supported.

Because adoption of bitcoin is spreading with each passing day, plus the requirement payment solution for online earnings and online shopping is also increasing with each passing day. And as bitcoin is invented and selected as digital currency and the world is on the technical development track with a highest speed, so 2016 will be the year of bitcoin.
