I think 2016 is the year of bitcoin, because a big thing happened and it called the halving. It's make the price of bitcoin increase so high.
I think you mean; The speculation and the hype around the block halving have done their work in getting the price to where it is right now. Right? The halving itself doesn't increase the price. Yep. I feel pity for those who actually expected a doubleup of value on the day the halving happened. I kinda expected that there really isn't anything big going to happen so not much of a disappointment from me. |

the next year is going to be even bigger in my opinion, i think it is the only question in time when bitcoin is going to a new all time high and next year might be that time I see people say that all the time. Can you at least explain why you think the price might reach a new ATH next year? I don't see any indication of the price coming even close to $1000 next year. |

Yes only the speculation builds up the price increase before the actual halving and take note that it's just one of the factor why the price increase. There are still other factors of that price increase. The actual halving yet didn't showed yet some impressive price increase but the good thing here is, we say goodbye to below $500 price. Exactly and I don't think we will see price below $500 again and if we find any big investors in coming months then it will take price to a higher level. You're wrong is you assuming that if every a new investor wanna investing in some project in bitcoin will pulling the bitcoin price because that is just for some elements the investor is can affect the bitcoin price with their project too, but until this time is don't seeing if appearing a new investor and investing on bitcoin project and will pull the bitcoin price with significantly. |

Price is still low after bitfinex incident. if you want to make this year for you you can still buy bitcoins and get profit in future. I think in bitcoin chance will exist everytime. every time you want to get involved you can involved and you can get profit too. some will get more and some get less, but it doesn't matter. |

Price is still low after bitfinex incident. if you want to make this year for you you can still buy bitcoins and get profit in future. I think in bitcoin chance will exist everytime. every time you want to get involved you can involved and you can get profit too. some will get more and some get less, but it doesn't matter. Yes. Thinking of it like bitcoin is still giving me a chance because it is taking long. I hope some will thimk also the positive way and dont get bored of the way it moves now. |

Well I am also hoping that this year is going to be the year of bitcoin because it is going to be more to come as there are still more months before the end of the year is going to happen. But I am hoping that the price of bitcoin is going to reach $1,000 or $800 before the end of the year. And if that happens then it is really a year of bitcoin. $800 is already a good price for me, and even if we are still gonna see the current price at the end of the year, 2016 can still be considered as the year of the bitcoin as we have achieve another milestone of success this year. Slowly but surely, that's what I want to see in bitcoin. |

I am happy with the current price of bitcoin and even I think this price is also a big achievement for bitcoin and enough to make bitcoin the currency of the year. |

For me i am happy that bitcoin is still alive and bitcoin still kicking , so that we can still use it as currency to invest or what so ever we wanted to use it because after halving we see that there's nothing change in the price but it still good to us that the price is not going down and the price is low now because of what happened on bitfinex, hoping that in the year of 2017 bitcoin will be the best

I think 2016 is still left many months. and I think bitcoin can still grow quite a lot and I think the price of bitcoin can be shot more than $ 700 at least 2016 are better than 2015 , when in 2015 really a nightmare for everyone who lost money because the price dropped half! but in the end of 2015 year it is bounce back to $450 after $250 nightmare , the fact that in the end of each year always ended up with a good thing like a bounce back price and the movement of bitcoin price always better than previous year. |

yeah you're right but for me bitcoin don't need more time to prove its sustainbility i think bitcoin wallet does because if bitcoin wallet died what will happen to our bitcoins ? bitcoin is famous now and bitcoin is still growing and many people are not start using bitcoin as a currency hoping that some bitcoin wallet soon will be partner in some stores so that we can now use our bitcoin wallet to pay some bills etc |
