2016 has not been the year of the Bitcoin and I do not think that it is ever going to happen because this year in general has not done much for the users. Hopefully 2017 can become a much better year for the Bitcoin because people like me are getting a bit tired of waiting for the Bitcoin to rise again.
We cannot consider this year to be bad for bitcoin as price rise was good in compare to last year and still there 3 months left in this year so we may see some best price at the end of the year. |

As we can see 2016 has not been the year of the Bitcoin because not much has really happened but the price rising a couple of times but that is it.
Maybe that the price can still rise with in 2016 because the year is not over so it can still happen.

I guess this year shown BTC can move stably in a positive direction, There hasn't been a big bumps but was more consistent and moved almost continuously in a positive direction IMO. More stable rise and that may continue throughout the year and 2017 as well.

Every year that I ever lived with bitcoin was a "Bitcoin Year" to me.
Why don't we celebrate that bitcoin is still alive and kicking today and hope that it lives a thousand years more!

So many great things coming soon to Bitcoin. We will have segregated witness in the mainnet soon, then it's all possible: sidechains, Lightning network, mimblewimble.. sky will be the limit. And Bitcache is coming soon when I hope is a success.

It really all depends on who is winning and who is losing..I have made and lost bitcoin this year but am hoping that 2017 will be the year of bitcoin for me personally, so it all depends on what angle we look at it from and who is winning in that year.

At the end of this year, I personally do not expect anything. Such a situation like today will stay stable in my opinion until the following year. Those predictions about 1k for 1btc not justified. And we have to wait for what will happen next.

100% for me the years of 2016 gonna be the year of bitcoins for me as i just started some bitcoins related websites and getting crazy amount of traffic there giving bitcoins taking bitcoins
and also the price is just perfect 630$ per BTC is just like new years gift i hope it hit 800$ until last years

I expected more actually, but see all my wishes at odds with reality. How many times have talked about that bitcoin will go up with a very sharp pace, but see the dreams will not come true. |

With that this year was much good for bitcoin. compare the price last year i saw that i experience the price before in 300 level and we can see the advantage this year from 2013 after price hit 1k value its decreasing again until 2015 you can see the advantage from other years to the present year because huge price increase happen in this year and more price increase will happen according to other traders out there. .this coming november or december.. |

Call it luck or something else but for me i believe that 2016 would be a good year for bitcoin. The halving was happening and also we had to very sober years in 2014 and 2015.
Now we are almost at the end of 2016 and i do see another run starting to unfold.

i agree with you and i also sure that 2017 will be year of bitcoin and i hope that bitcoin price will be more increase to high value and i am sure people adopt the bitcoin in huge amount and more people get the awareness about bitcoin and bitcoin will be go ahead . |

This is good year for me, and I will always remember 2016 as a year of bitcoin. I introduced with bitcoin and made my first profit this year. Everything I know about trading, online earning I learned this year with the help of bitcoin.
I'm sure there will be many good years for bitcoin in the future. After many years it will be hard to decide which one was the best. That will be individual, it will be more better with higher profit, less better for people who lost money or didn't made any profit at all.
