ALSO TO NOTE WITH THE S7 ....
There is no DC to DC conversion in the S7's. So what voltage your "feed" your S7's directly correlates to the chip voltage and hashing power.
SO, ~~AFTER~~ your Bitmain warentee expires and you want to experiment. Keep this voltage adjustment knowledge handy.... over clocking with the ease of overvolting just might lead to some interesting results. ( Either poof to the MOOOON hashing ... or POOF, you let the magic smoke out of it )
I'm guessing there was a converter in the other models? I wonder why they dropped it in the S7. It was first dropped when they did the S5 which was the first mainstream Miner from Bitmain that used "String Power" (First trialled in the S3++) The "Benefit" is that the DC Converter Modules are done away with which reduces cost and improves efficiency. Also you can adjust the supply voltage as bbOOmm has just described for over & undervolting. Rich

I remember when paycoin popped up last year. Nicehash payout went to the moon. I just sold five s5's that were at 15 found blocks each on nicehash.
LOL .... Paycoin. I mined that coin.... I also dumped for a profit just below its peak price while everyone else was waiting for that $20 price floor ....and before the stench of the scam make everyone nauseated Was great on the nicehash side. I had just fired up a bunch of s3's at nicehash and a few hours later the payout went stupid high. oh yeah i remember rates were crazy stupid...in a few small days i mined as much as a month or more...

Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. What I said was opinion - I could never justify it. I clicked on the link thinking it'd be ~$300 USD. It wasn't. I was surprised.
Enjoy your remote power switch. Oh, and just to make matters worse, you can do the same thing with an Arduino and about $30 worth of parts AND operate it with your cell phone.
Diff'rent Strokes for Diff'rent folks.
Then why the hell could you not give your opinion on how to do it more affordably in a way that does not mock someone for the feature they seek to have? No, you decided to put a "laughing" face in the forum to mock me with no advice given at all of a cheaper way to do it. Instead, you decide to be an asshole on top of that with these stupid ass short video comments. Why such an arss? Also, you are talking about getting some kind of circuit board or some shit and add $30 in parts onto that? How much for the Arduino to go along with the $30 worth of parts? What else is involved with connecting it to the PDU? I also prefer to control only the PSU I want to control that is connected to the PDU. My father uses this: http://www.digital-loggers.com/220.htmlAnd I use the smaller "home" version to power cycle a couple servers I have. They become pretty powerful due to their scripting capabilities.

How many people feel the need to post their annual salary on a bitcoin enthusiasts' message board? Something to prove, maybe? DMWard is one of the more chill guys I've dealt with on here. Have you considered trying Kegel exercises? I hear it helps with stress. Ditto on that one. Someone that makes $240k/year and capitalizes OH MY GOSH because of $700, in my opinion is what we call "a cheap bastard". REMOVED

We don't borrow money and we don't spend a penny without a haggle if possible. Here's a joke for ya - Gerald's wife just died. He wanted to post a notice in the paper but being a Scot he didn't want to spend a penny more than he had to. So he went down to the newspaper and filled out the obituary card, "Elise died." Seeing just the two words, the guy at the counter gave Gerald a new card and said, "Sorry sir. There's a five word minimum." Gerald thought a minute and then wrote, "Elise died. Toyota for sale."My old man used to say, "You didn't make a dime this year if you spent it all."

Anyone excited about the Spondoolies s50?
All of my experience is with Antminers, so not really. What is it about the s50 that has you excited? Are they about $50000? If you can get them?

It seems to me that Bitmain has had time to get things caught up...so I am wondering when the compensation for Batch 1 will start to get taken care of? The longer they wait the higher the BTC they own us is worth. everything is priced in USD... if bitmain owes any moneys, it will be the USD amount.. correct me if I am wrong.. Dear loyal customers,
We're sorry to inform you that we didn't make the shipment of some orders today as promised. When we did the last spot check, we found some issues which cannot be delivered to you directly, engineers are working on it now and shipment should be arranged before end of next week.
Due to this trouble, we'd like to offer you the compensation following 97.5%*PPS payment according to the total hash rate of miners in order, starting from Oct. 11 Hong Kong Time, till the real shipping out date(which is not included), with electricity cost deducted at the price of $0.098/KWH.
The accounting unit is Bitcoin in the calculating, while USD is considered as a foreign currency. The day to day exchange rate will be get from Bitstamp daily average.
The final payment will be after we have collected your payment address, and we will inform you the way to confirm your receiving address with us.
After collect all the necessary info, we'll process the refund by batches, please wait for update patiently.
Apologize again!
NICE! I almost wish my batch was delayed a week and get a months worth of hashing out of the deal! Has anyone received compensation for late shipment yet?

Its been awhile since B1 was finished shipping. Mine runs under spec by 125 gh but it came on time. Batch 1 My batch 2 was late but runs better then spec by 250gh. So while I could argue they 'owe' me it is not a lot. maybe .1 or .2 btc tops. I would like a coupon to buy something or may a bit of hash from hashnest and I would be good to go.

Does anyone remember when was s1, s2, s3, s4, s5 released? What's the average time in between releases?
Would like to know when the next gen chips are released. Before s7 launch I saw a lot of news regarding next gen chips from different developers. Also do you guys think that the guys, who bough s7@ 7.5 bitcoins will ever roi on this product. The price has fallen a bit too much, don't you think? I know that s7 just launched, but i'm just curious.
