Gambling. Is It Wrong?

Well, according to some religions it is wrong, but I'm not sure they know what they are talking about.

IMO you can gamble if you can controll yourself at least to some extent.

if gambling is a sin. then no matter you are playing it to some extent or up to some limit. still it is sin. some religions have consider gambling illegal and therefore it is consider it as illegal in these countries.

I gamble and i know when to stop, so no for me it's not wrong.
Off course their are people who don't know when or how to stop. For them gambling is a disease...

So if you are realistic, it's not wrong if you can resist temptation, else you should be worried.

What makes anyone gamble? The pot, usually the people dream with those pot, and they will try to get it always. It isnt wrong as we can invest some peniies and get the pot, even when the odds always plays against us, but would be better make a fund with all the money of the gamblers, and share a portion of dividends all months, but this no one wanna offer and cant.

Yes, gambling can be considered wrong of it causes negative effect in your life or into the life of the gambler.

But we have the key to prevent it into being a wrong doing,  we should consider to have a Limit and tolerance on the money that we bet and on the time that we spent when playing gambling games.

We should consider that gambling is made for dun and it will stay at that way,  so that in the end gambling won't turn to be a wrong doing in your part.

I think If you think about gambling being fun it only apply to the rich ones and If the less fortunate people will apply this kind of thinking they will end up losing much and getting bankrupt and I think gambling is not fun at all for them, because of the money that gets involve in playing it.

No even in rich people its still wrong because it may bad effect also in our religion or almost religion bitcoin is a sin you can be in hell if you are gamble..

Yeah you are right in a number of religions gambling is considered as a bad act, and because of that the governments of a number of countries have banned gambling in their country for their citizens, so the good citizens are those who obey their law by their God and by their government.

It never should be the gambling's fault in the first place since the gambling sites didn't force you to play rather it is your choice and decision if you want to play. So I don't know why there are people that blame Gambling when they lose.

Agree; Never ever blame in the gambling sites or any other physical gambling places what is the outcome to you after playing gambling, because first thing we all know that you should be the one blaming yourself.

If it is money you after and it's affecting your life then yes you can say it is wrong.

I think people will have fun in gambling when they have the advantage and the victory. and I think there is no pleasure

i think gambling is not wrong depend on each person, but in the bible, gambling is forbidden i guess. and if you have other choice to make money, then why you have to gambling? is just about you, do you want to find other way or not. if you like and want to play gambling, then you're good, but if you just curious about gambling, its no problem too. all is back to you.

You can lose your time,effort, and money in gambling that is why it is very dangerous for the gamblers. We need to think of having fun rather than risking our money that we cannot afford to lose and the real trend is we lose most of the time so we also need to consider that.

If we bet most of the money we have is not going to make us feel sad if you lose because we are preparing it for gambling. I own a gamble when I'm bored and not every time. So if gambling is done within the limits of normal and it is not wrong.

That is basic for every gambler to have self control to be able to have fun in gambling, regardless of your intention to gamble whether you want to make money, fun or both self control is necessary to play it responsibly.

Right, it is key to avoid addiction in gambling is the pretty strong self control and give the restriction against gambling. Because gambling is very risky for us too plain to play it, all there is in fact only an illusion of gambling and sweetener only.

I basically broke even so far when I comes to gambling, and I've bet thousands across different sites. Some days you win big, others you get wreaked.

I do not think that it wrong to gamble because why would it be wrong to gamble if you are using your own hard worked money.
You should be able to decide what to do with your money.

Well, that's true, gambling won't be wrong, provided that you are not wasting other peoples money and if it is not affecting your family or the people around you. You need to set a limit at it. Some says that if it is beneficial to you then it is not wrong - I think with this you have to examine your self first before we could say that gambling is beneficial.

But basically many gamblers are getting into gambling just for the fun and to test how the gambling goes on when they are having some free time. When they are seeing small profits, they will keep on coming back to gambling always, then they are turning to treat gambling as a source of life's need. When the motivation of gambling changes, gambling turns wrong.

Yeah, I think gambling is wrong, I already see how much people are getting addicted to it including me. And I think that the whole part of the bitcoin community is already addicted to it.. Correct me if I wrong,.
