17Nov2015 - Cryptsy currently has withdrawal delays for Dash -

I'm officially done with Cryptsy. I made my weekly BTC purchase and conversion to DASH but this time it took almost 3 hours before they sent my coin to my wallet. Typically something that takes a few seconds to at most a couple of minutes.

I'm a small insignificant crypto holder so me quitting Cryptsy doesn't mean much to them...at least until there are 1000's of me or more. At the rate they are going, it won't be long before all the little guys like me stop using them and they are done. And clearly, given what they've done to Otoh and his public accounting of horrendous service will only make the numbers grow of both small and large investors leaving.

It's #rekt Jim.

If a sock falls in the BitcoinTalk forum, will anybody troll it ? HAHAHA

Yup he got you there. LOL
I was there on chat when you were going through all that drama BCX

BCX had also created a topic late 2013'ish that said..
Isn't it fishy every time the price of Bitcoin goes up Cryptsy has withdrawal problems ?
And i replied back to it saying.. I KNOW !!
I said i had come to the same conclusion and i was posting about on chat *in advance.
Saying here goes the price again.. get your BTC out now guys before "the problems" come back.
(maybe it slipped BCX's mind he made that topic long ago ?)

SO i don't know where you all stand on Cryptsy but i have stuck up fro Cryptsy a lot in the past as many of you have.
I have tried VERY hard to give them chance after chance.. but in the end left.

Nobody not even BitJohn himself says they have a good track record.
Read the link in my sig and see BJ saying himself word for word.

I have -ALWAYS- tried to say things have *looked* fishy with them.
Why is another matter..

I am just calling it as i see it.
Nothing personal with ANY of you.. including Cryptsy staff or their old users (whether i get along with them or not)

I didn't make up and lie about witnessing a zillion problem i seen first hand.
I stand behind any story i have told as the truth to the best of my ability.

Anyway guys..
We veered off-topic here pretty hard. LOL
I can't speak for others but when i speak with a serious tone i try and choose my words carefully.
Something that seems scammy vs i have proof of a scam being exposed is different.

I had posted on this topic saying i don't see the "gotcha"
I didn't see the smoking gun of undeniable truth that he was busted cold.
It's tunnel vision... i am looking at 1 point.
Maybe the circumstances surrounding the things said about spots -LOOK- bad or *seem* fishy.
but that is not the same as we got him !

..my 2 cents.
..my perspective.

The withdraw issues are because of their storage practices. Cold to them is warm to us, if you catch my drift

You hate them but once again are towing the perverbial company line.

You're sounding alot like BitJohn ! lmao HAHAHA

Let me point out something..
Does BitJohn have full code access to Cryptsy ?
Nope sure didn't a decade ago I knew some Java.

If he says no i wonder would he know if another guy was screwing with things behind the scene like Mark from Gox was.
I suspect BJ here was actively involved in things though.. trying to put ALL the blame on BigVern now.
Like I said 4 programmers only Paul has full access to everything.

We know another guy or two has wallet code access in their servers.. Mullick mostly i think ?
Has more access than most but less than Logan the old Network admin. Paul is the only person there with universal access.

So how do we know people have not been screwing with things ?
A veil of secrecy and denial.
All in the name of keeping thing secret for security reasons.
Yeah sometimes keeping things secret is the best security but not sure what exactly your asking

I wonder how BJ often claims wallet issues in the past (his go to response)
He better have code access if he is claiming that LOL
It was always wallet issues. Cryptsy has way to many coins! Do the math at a minimum that adds up to around 600 wallets. Always one hung up or acting up. The other issue with them is well half were programmed by people who had no clue what they were changing so they dont work correctly.

Can BJ read and write c or even c++ code ?
Or if it's just a matter of ohh the wallet is obviously down then he must have access to see them running.

Or he is told so by another guy.. Mullick ? BigVern ?
I can read some code. No admin has a direct wallet view. We asked when issues arose and manually put it in maintenance baased on what Mullick and Paul told the CS staff.

I think there is a lot more than meets the eye here LOL
Probably way less than you want it to be haha

Only major question i have is.. if BigVern is the creator and main guy why on earth is only seen once or twice a year ?
Show me another popular site that has the coder / owner MIA ALL the damn time.
That is just fishy.. it's always been that way.
You will likely see Unicorn Fart before BigVern pops up chatting.
I can count on 1 hand how many appearances he's made since mid 2013
Thats why he hired folks to handle that stuff.... It's actually very normal for the CEO not to be out and about.

The so called "verification" is another excuse to steal your money (others like poloniex isn't "cracking" down).

That was required by law no way around verification, AML and KYC. Polo will have to do it as well they just don't do FIAT so they are in a bit better shape. Really only BTC-e can avoid it for now.

I'm also will to venture the margin trading is going to cause them problems with the CFTC.

More exchanges should offer crypto only trading. No fiat, no margin = less complicated business model

Jdtmp4: pr9me, I wish I wouldn't said that first. BTW, neat-0 for using a numb3r as a letter. Wanna be besties? Let's do lunch. We'll flip a nickle to see who buys and, recalling that epic joke told by Paul Vernon on stage at a conference, we'll let the tag-along Doge dude leave the tip. HAHAHA

Can't say... but I do recall Horus/jdtmp4 goin on about being one not long after the truth about his socks puppet show was exposed.

He claims to be a Mason eh? I am very interested in knowing which Lodge he is a member of if this can be found.

He let that slip while I was trolling him (and Vlad) about their involvement with the "holiday crypto fundraiser".

We can safely assume one of two things: Paul Vernon 100% lied when he said that Horus is not Hobo, or Horus 100% lied to Paul, ergo should be fired immediately so to longer have access to Cryptsy or their clients' particulars.
