Yup, I lost a bet on that match, thats a bit of an upset for Zverev to be beaten so early
in the tournament, he is normally at least in the quarter finals. Rublev up next for

Sinner has been in top performance yesterday by hitthing a huge and safe 6-1 (3 times)! Musetti is the underdog of the match.
He has some issues in the weeks before (many tournaments/matches were not good for him ) but he is playing again at a decent level.
Now there is this big chance... but I don't see this could be something easy for him...

Bublik is the only player apart from Alcaraz to beat Sinner this year AFAIK so
I bet on him to win a set, especially with his in form serving so far...but it wasnt to
be, Sinner gave him 3 "Breadsticks" 6-1, 6-1 & 6-1.

Sinner has always win against Bublik without "no match".
The Sinner defeat of this year against him was a clear outlier... but someway could be also expected.
Physically Sinner is really weak and has many issues on the past tournaments (not only in the final against Alcaraz ...)
 
Yes looking matches of Bublik is funny but he is far away from Sinner and he knows very well... I am not surprised by his declarations after the match.

All these matches have been really great, nothing to say, but I have to say that the match that excites me the most will be Sinner - Musetti, this match will promise to be epic because Lorenzo Musetti will not want to be outdone by the first in the world and will show everyone what he is made of, on the other hand Sinner who needs no introduction, I have bet on Musetti.

Djokovic survived Fritz and the hostile crowd to move forward  to the next round against the beast(Alcaraz) which should end his run in this slam. He really got lucky thanks to Fritz and his continuous double faults and unforced errors.

On the other hand, Sabalenka got lucky through a walkover thanks to Marketa's injury who was in epic form. Am expecting a Sabalenka-Swiatek final where Sabalenka should end up winning.

I have bet on Musetti.

Yea Sinner is going to be too strong for Musetti and has such a massive game from

It is really looking like an Alcaraz v Sinner final, Alcaraz has to beat Djokovic which
I cant see him not doing and Sinner has to beat Musetti and either Felix AA or de Minaur,

Swiatek plays Anisimova today which she should win because she is in great form
and seems to be back on the rise. That will leave 4 really top players, (if she beats
Muchova) Herself, Sabalenka, Osaka and Pegula. Probably the weakest* is Osaka,
I'm basing that on her mixed bag performance over the last year but she has serious
pedigree, more than Pegula really, its very interesting indeed

^^ I think Osaka has the momentum right now, after beating Coco, she looks very confident and again, started to be the crowd favorite.

And also another crowd favorite in the doubles have come to an end. Williams/Fernandez was beaten by Townsend/Siniaková. I do hope that Williams run will continue as it seems she is very happy in the US Open and again the crowd is behind them.

Well she did it! and I had 2 bets in this match, an ML win on Osaka and a +6.5
handicap on Muchova - happy with that and happy for Naomi. He has a real chance
of going into the final by beating Anisimova.

In fairness though he is still a serious competitor. Not bad at all at his age to

Wow! Anisimova successfully got her revenge against Swiatek after that humiliating defeat in the Wimbeldon final recently by defeating her across straight sets to set up a clash against Osaka who is in pristine form currently.

Amanda Anisimova stunned Iga in the quarter finals. I thought that Iga is really playing very high tennis in this tournament, I don't know what happen to her.

And then we have one of the crowd favorite in Naomi Osaka beating Karolína Muchová. When was the last time we have seen Osaka in the semi finals? She will be facing Anisimova next, so gonna be a tough match for her.

So both men and women's semi finals are already set guys.

I really like Osaka's story. She has overcome many hardships with mental health issues and so on. And also people shouldn't forget, she got a child only 2 years ago. Being back on the tour after such a short time off is amazing . I hope she can go further in this one because I really believe she totally deserves it. Also obviously she is very likable and humble, which makes it even easier to root for her.
