As I tell everyone I know, BTC should be a PART of an investment portfolio.
It's extremely high risk, and therefore, high reward. But I don't think anyone should be putting all their eggs in 1 basket!

Yes much risky than doing exchange trades. Altcoins price today are not on the rocks since it's obvious now that price hype are happening on bitcoin now. Maybe some less movement but only cost a penny profit.

I honestly do not consider this price as already high, its not very high its 450 dollar and I it will most likely gonna rise to a much higher amount soon or later.
The halving will help us for sure, I even think it will help the long term investors.

Diversification is always good, but I believe buying one full bitcoin at a moment can be a good decision, as price will go higher at the time of halving, so we can sell at that time and earn profits.

Yes, he will not have to wait for the whole year for getting profit from that one whole bitcoin, but it is closer when he will see his bitcoin as a double in value, today is the price around to $460 and in the next week will be around to $500 so think what will be the value at halving!

I believe now is a good time as any to get some bitcoin. If you can afford it go for it. I will try to actually buy some now and really feel sad that I didn't have enough funds to buy when it was sitting at 200-250 usd. I would have almost doubled my money now. Yes the price is quite high but I am sure it could rise to around 700-800 once halving kicks in but then many who bought at 250-300 will want to sell and make a fast profit.

Yeah if he wants to invest 1 btc i can tell it is good investment for long run because price keep rising daily as you can see un the chart and i believe that bitcoin price is rising daily until halving event occur and by that time we can earn big profits return. But if you cant wait for halving you can invest your few btc on good programs out there so you can earn some bitcoin by the time halving is happened you earn much bitcoin with it.

Yeah, do not invest it on a site but just hold it for when the price goes up. That is the best thing to do and at the same time it is safe to do. I am sure that you will make some money out of that one Bitcoin.

If you invest and hold also not a problem you can make profit! It is always better to have 1 BTC safe in your cold storage without touching or using it for atleast 5 years, rest you can use buy sell whatever comes to your mind, But for me I will always keep atleast 1 BTC safe in digital wallet and won't use it even at the time of emergencies, and if you have more then 1 BTC then its a barrel of wine for us.

Yeah right, but I think many of us here can't even afford to buy a bitcoin...So I think for them, it is a great investment and they are waiting for the profit when the price increase... So I think, even if it costs half of your savings, It will still be a good investment...

It is safe at 100%. If you did what some members told you at the moment of the creation of the thread, you would have made a nice margin, which will for sure be a lot higher in the coming years !
