If one bitcoin is just small percentage of your personal wealth, if you lose it, it will not affect you, then buy one.
Yeah right, but I think many of us here can't even afford to buy a bitcoin...So I think for them, it is a great investment and they are waiting for the profit when the price increase... So I think, even if it costs half of your savings, It will still be a good investment...  Others couldnt afford a whole coin because they use it to sustain their needs and others gamble it away ending up having nothing. |

Good if you could buy 1 BTC today. Better if you could buy more. If it's for your long term investment, and you have all the time in the world to wait, your patience will pay off. As they say, great things start with small beginnings. For me, I still don't have a bitcoin now, not even half of it. But I'll try to slowly add to what I have through small earnings.

How safe is it?
buy 1 bitcoin is just like bring $460 of money,its safe as long you find good seller,on site or buy on people in this forum,its have same risk,the only reason this day is a good day for make bitcoin long term investement is the price keep raising. |

Just buy every dip regardless of the price. And one important thing only sold coins when there's a profit even as an act of short term trades. Because we don't know what will be the future price remember to keep your investment on hands while doing trades. |

Although the price is a little bit high now it would make sense a bitcoin if you plan to keep it for a few more years.
I do see the price reaching an all time high in 3/4 years.
No, the price is not high, if we imagine the value of bitcoin at halving then we will understand that the price is currently much lower and the time is near when we will see the price crossing the value of $1000. |

Making an investment in Bitcoin is not that bad and as you can see now you see also that the value is not that high now so it is not that bad to make an investment.
It would be better if you are are buying low and than your chance will be higher that you can earn more profit with it, you must also sell it on the right moment.

I remember people were saying ~ Because of the block halving the price will double from current point ~ The price back then was slightly over $300. If you have that in mind then we still have around $150 in profit that we can gain, which at this point looks more than reasonable. |

I bet it is more better if you can buy more than 1 btc to really feel the profit you can gain. Buy something like 10btc. There's really a thin chance that btc will drop to 300 again. So be comfortable.

If you are talking about good long term investment. Yes buy 1 btc today and put it in cold storage wallet. And wait for it for next 1-2 years and surely you will get a profit and use again your profit for buying another btc.

If you want to buy for long term investment you should buy in crisis times like this. Speculators are dumping coins so you can buy from cheaper prices than usual. Right now it see 435 as bottom but it can cover from here. Since you make long term investment it's not too important to buy from 430 or 450$ anyway.

Yeah thats right there its very good to buy now because as of today its not very expensive price and the price is at down stage for now but it will kick up again as part of dumping strat to other big holders and very important if you join the. Thrend there so you can earn also by buying at 1 btc it. Is long term investment for you if you have patience to wait well you can earn with that the only key is patience only. |

the price at the time this thread is created was around $245 and till now people advice others to buy and hold. you should have done that when the price was below $250 back then. right now is just an okay moment to buy for medium term holders. and good for long term holders. but people always tend to wait too long with buying, and it shows. if you bought when this thread is created you would have around $200 profit per coin right now!

The long they wait, the higher chance they will wreck. Expecting too much for the desired target will just lead to plan wreckage. If people has the ability to buy some coins whatever they think that is the cheap price just go on. |
