Watched CNN just now and they are letting Portland Trail Blazers to have some practice provided 4 players only with social distancing.

No, not, if that practice were a hint social distancing won't ever be a condition, IMO. On the other hand, Portland may be wanna maintain posture while NBA games are still cancel.  But whatever, who knows lol.

While to Pacers big mans (Turner and Sabonis thing), well, Turner might get traded to KAT the thing is, KAT got a better career record than Turner hence, it might turnout Pacers givin' in 1-2 guys including Turner to get KAT. This solely base on the players alone, though Minnesota is currently a mess it doesn't drag down KAT's decency as a player. So, that might be it.

I vote with the optimistic view too.  

I hate to see our dear NBA missing a championship and looking at history or wikipedia asking why there is a blank year without a champion.
Plus, the players made all the effort to win games specially those who are on the top. Lakers, Bucks, etc.
I would love to see them play even by shortening the playoffs and then just having a full Finals game at 7.

Oh how I miss watching a live game. NBA page are just full of replays and highlights. Worse, I had already watched a lot of them.

Yep, with him healthy and with Brodgon, Sabonis and Turner playing like this, they would be legit contenders. But question is do Pacers believe that he will be able fully recover from injury and play at previous All Star level? Rumour is that they offered him 4years/80 million contract, and he naturally snubbed it as it is even smaller than his current one. I must say that's a bit weird offer, like they don't really believe that he can play at previous level, or maybe they are just testing the ground. Oladipo supposed to be their franchise player, and even if they trade him, who can they get for him. Worst case scenario is they let him go, but since they are small market team, I don't see them attracting some big star.

I think they could still combine it with next year and somehow make it work but I have never seen that talked anywhere at all. Remember the fact that we had many lockdown seasons, players can basically decline to play whenever they want and they get a lockdown and suddenly they play like a 60 game season or whatever or 50 game season and what not, this has happened before and it happened couple times as well not just once.

So, all they have to do is wait until all of this is over, and by the start of September on first day just start the league back up, play 20 games in about 2 months, and play the playoffs probably at the same times as well because that is usually already quick, which gives them about 3 months, which is around December. Start the new season on January give the players December as a break, and instead of ending at April, make them play 50-60 games and end in June instead. This could totally work if they even consider it.

 The problem with lockdown season is there is usually a lockdown salary as well. If players only play 60 games next season they are going to get paid for 60 games. So they are trying to figure out a way that will help them get 82 games a season in order for both the owners to make the most money while players get the most money as well (and technically we get the most fun too). So if they do end up this season and do a short season for next year, they will not get the most out of it.

 However idea stands, they could start the season at first, finish early december, start back again on january, and finish august instead, and they could go back to starting on october again and just become normal after that, it only screws up next year and after that it recovers like nothing happened. Would players be more tired? Sure. But they would at least be safer and they would still make the most amount of money. That seems to be the only method that players could be both safe and also rich, all other methods they consider are either riskier or less money.

I mean I don't know the exact time line on when they will be back, back in the day it was said that "closed out the season" and stuff like that but honestly the season would have been over anyway. So lets say the season gets back on track on July first, would they even play? Because there is no way they can go to playoffs now, they are waaaay bottom right now to ever make the playoffs, which means is there even a reason to play them even if they play? Maybe it could be for getting back in shape reasons, like put them on the bench and make them play like 12 minutes a game so they can get back in game shape and not be out for too long, but aside from that I do not see a reason for them to play honestly. That is even if league comes back this summer of course.

Lakers do not really have the cap space to get Bogdanovic on a free agency situation. So, either Indiana gets him or there has to be a trade. And in a trade situation I see Lakers doing much better, they brought in AD and Lebron already, so the people around them could always change, doesn't matter who it is, so they could just send like Danny Green without batting an eye lash or could even package couple of other players or even picks. They are full on "win right now right away" mode, and they were even playing good enough for a title run as soon as this year before pandemic happened.

I am not saying they were good enough to be champions without trouble, they would have to play teams like Rockets, Clippers and so forth to go to finals and then east champions which I thought would be Bucks honestly.

But, to be that good AND add someone like Bogdanovic would worth a lot of picks if you ask me. Indiana couldn't afford to give what Lakers would be willing to give, but if Lakers find it too much, Pacers do have a chance but they do not have too much to offer that would help out Utah honestly.

They want to add more but the problem is their cap I think they limit some space but they have an option to with kuzma or together with KCP but I don't think they will pursue this since for sure those since provably Bagdanovic  will remain on which team he is on right now.

We all agree to that, considering the health securities of both players and all those people involved around them, since chances that the league may proceed and resumes is there, the only thing right now is how the management can still gain profits if physical distancing still needed as the spread of this virus continue threatening everyone.
