Guys, this is a very objective article about LeBron James.
We must not forget that Lebron is considered the second most important in the history of basketball.

https://www.nba.com/article/2020/05/13/film-study-lakers-transition-lebron-james-anthony-davis

By not enjoying the 2020 NBA season. It is already being announced that there will be a production by Lebron based on a documentary called the “Sign Language” where the Houston Astros sign theft scandal is spoken.
We will have as entertainments while we overcome this Coronavirus crisis.

“The Last Dance” Michael Jordan
“Sign Language” LeBron James

Michael Jordan helped Kobe as much as he can to improve Kobe's game and wanted him to move the game forward, and Kobe's last tweet was about how Lebron should move the game forward, and Lebron should want players after him to move the game forward. I do not think that players would want others to be like them, I think players will want younger generation to be better than them.

Merit for the optimism.  Wink
I like that and great players should do those kind of acts. Or all the veterans should be like this.
Teach the younger ones and not step on them.

Reminds me of Bron acknowledging the young guys Ja, Zion and more. We, still, might be able to witness greatness when Bron have to stepped out of the league someday, given that he recognize those guys himself and had already matched up to each one of 'em.
Quote
"The league is in great hands with a guy like Zion, Ja Morant, Luka Doncic, Trae Young, Jayson Tatum and the list goes on and on."

We couldn't deny the hate, it would always be there, and at some point it motivates the players to do better. Yeah, it sucks to see our idols being compared to others but it is natural, IMO. And it would keep on going, and be passed on to someone whoever gets on the top of the league, might be Ja, Zion or Doncic be compared to Bron sooner even to Kobe and MJ, not to mention that they already had in this early times... so what else is there when they start to dominate the league, and starts to make history.

If I will buy the story that LeBron is afraid of making clutch shots, then it's better not to take those. It's a good idea if he passes the ball instead. That's a great decision. What matters here is his overall performance on that game.
This is also why I like players who can do clutch assists.  Wink
How can you afford to still pass the ball when the clock is going red.
A strong mentality is a gift, but if he did learn it he may had trained so hard.
Best pair with players who ain't afraid to take those last second pass by Bron. You know, you'll be suddenly the guilty of not getting the W... not from getting blamed by Bron or your teammates but by fans/haters who are always ready to say some stuff  Undecided.

Source from the statement I mentioned above: https://www.talkbasket.net/72988-lebron-james-the-league-is-in-great-hands-with-a-guy-like-zion-ja-morant-luka-doncic-trae-young-jayson-tatum-and-the-list-goes-on-and-on

These kind of acts should never really stop. It gives those young players a will to keep on playing hard.
Give them positive feedback for them to continue with love for the game and the fans.

In the end, do not play for the media or the critics.
Play for those who really enjoy the game. Like us.

The basis is just on that post and that's through that article's analysis.

The article was made of John Schuhmann so that's how he looked upon to Lebron.

This guys will give a hard time for Giannis, Jokic and those players which are now mid-term of their careers.  Cheesy

How about Harden, Paul, Westbrook, Davis, KAT, PG13 and a lot more. Those are the names which are still seeking for a championship.
Once Lebron retires (which I think will be years more) to whom will he pass the torch.
Will it be Davis? They have a good chemistry on the floor.
We cannot see someone who almost plays like him. Zion is not yet there since we just watched a number of games from him.

I think Durant or Curry could be the one to pass the tourch. Normally I would say Durant for sure because he is just so good that even on Warriors he became the best player suddenly. However usually for this kind of stuff you gotta have like this off-court persona that is marketable as well, MJ had that Kobe had that with his mamba and all, Lebron has that, I think Durant doesn't have that, he is unbelievable on court but when it comes to off court he is nothing that worths a big deal. Curry on the other hand has a big off the court persona as well so I think that may do. He is not that young neither so I think he is a good candidate, he would probably retire only few years later. I would say Giannis for sure if somehow Giannis could get a ring before Lebron retires.

The thing about Lebron was more like a hate off the court than in the court. Nobody could really dispute the fact that Lebron is one of the best players who have ever played this game, anyone who understands even a little bit of basketball would watch a game of Lebron and know he was good, this person actually brought a team of Cavs to finals, he left and cavs started to tank, he came back and went for a title, he left and they tanked, he went to finals for 9 years straight, going to finals 9 times is unheard of in this era. So yes he is a great basketball player.

But all of his "the decision" and his LeGM moves, all the trades he forced, all the contracts he forced to sign and many of his friends to higher contracts than they deserved and all the interviews etc etc, basically for a period between 2010 to 2015 or so he was hated because of what he did, not because of the player he was.

All those hard training, you cannot continue that if you don't really love the game.

Exactly, I watched Jordan while I was very young and appreciate his game and admire him as a player, I watched Kobe while I was in highschool and loved the way he plays as I understand the game of basketball. Then, I watched LeBron during my college days and liked his type of game. Critics were normal, but discrediting them for what they have accomplished and achievements is a straight disrespectful, considering how hard they trained since day 1.

Let me tell you another fact, even if LeBron will bring the Lakers to win a championship, haters will never ever respect him.
Also, LeBron's achievement is real. Non of them are fake just like MJ's and Kobe's achievement.

Let's just accept the fact that these players are the best players in their respective era.

Yeah, that will happen.
This is how I see Lebron.
More like the Kobe type. I don't know why.  Grin

I don't hate him but I don't love them either.
But I do respect the tenacity and their love for the game. Pure heart when it comes to basketball.

People respect players but people just have their own favorite players in NBA, it doesn't matter how they train,  we don't see it, what we see is them playing in the court and how they give a win on their respective team, it's normal for players to receive a lot of criticism or praise because as a fan, we are emotional, we idolize or we hate players and they have to accept it as that is how they earn money from the fans.

Indeed.
It is when you are on the top, the media starts to put you down and try to get the 50 percent chance that some fans will believe in it.
A good example is GSW. There is so much hate now that is surrounding against them.
I don't know the reasons behind that. All that effort and hard work and still you cannot please everyone.

Yeah, and there are also the bandwagon types.
Again, the example of that is GSW.
Suddenly, there are so much fans of that crew while years ago they don't even know sh*t about that team.  Grin

You talking about me, lol... may favorite team before was actually the Lakers, but when Kobe got injured and things wen't shit, I look for another team and when the Warriors team becomes very exciting to watch, I then become a fan of the team, but it didn't last long because my favorite player now is Kawhi Leonard and whichever team he is, I will support and be a fan of such team as well.

I love the underrated player, Kawhi might not an underrated for some but I don't see the kind of respect Lebron got from Leonard when in fact they are both equal or Leonard could even be a better player between the two.

We can never come up of whose the best because we will certainly say our favorite player is the best.
Let's just say that both are good players but in terms of clutchness, I'd go with Leonard but without overall performance, maybe Lebron James.

About the load management, it's not the players call but the management, if the management would not allow it, then Leonard will be force to play.
Team coaches now are getting smarter, they are not anymore seeking to be the top 1 in the regular season, what they want is to be in the playoffs and then keep their stars get going to win since they are fully healthy due to some load management during regular season.

Haha, no I dont think so. Why? Let us see...

I love the underrated player, Kawhi might not an underrated for some but I don't see the kind of respect Lebron got from Leonard when in fact they are both equal or Leonard could even be a better player between the two.

It is not being a bandwagon type.
I love underrated players too and we want to support them.
Going against what the mass loves more. My kind of bad habit, or maybe good.
Someone who is not being talked much but yet he got his proofs on his history. Yeah, one of those is Kawhi.
How about Draymond Green?
If we talk about teams, I go for Denver, have less fans. Again, with my habit.

A good example is GSW. There is so much hate now that is surrounding against them.
I don't know the reasons behind that. All that effort and hard work and still you cannot please everyone.
The only thing that people like more than seeing underdogs win is to see the best teams fail, these things go together. GSW have  been dominating for a few years, and people simply got sick of it, but it escalated only after they got Durant, that's when the real hatred started. People want to see best players playing against each other, not all of them together in one team. I must admit that I was a bit disappointed as well when i heard they got Durant, after loosing against Cavaliers in the final.

We must not forget that Lebron is considered the second most important in the history of basketball.
One of the best in modern era? Definitely. But second most important hardly. There were players in the past that were so dominant, that NBA had to change rules in order to even things out. He is really trying to follow MJ steps though, next year we will get sequel to Space Jam with him in the main role.

Same here, man. But I couldn't blame KD for he has his own reason. Perhaps he must be tired on getting a ring with OKC so he find an easy way to get it.
But I am happy now that at least he ain't in bad terms with Westbrook anymore.

He must be talking about this?

Or something else? Sorry, I meant no offense but is it me or second most statement doesn't make any sense? 'Cause it seems a bit contradicting. And beside what made Bron a second most important? 'Cause he change the league? if is it that the case then Steph Curry is sitting at the very top or somewhere between 0-5, dunno. Perhaps because a lot of players now are shooting 3s than attacking the basket even big guys that was meant to be inside the paint.

It was getting along with Westbrook.
It's obvious that WB want the spotlight. Is he a sharing person? I don't know.
But maybe not.
He was the first one that I've seen which was obviously stat padding.
Counting every shot every assists and rebounds.
Who does that? You are busy making plays and trying to win and yet you are counting?  Grin

Durant made his choice and it was for his own good.
Now, I think he is not yet satisfied with that and want to win on his own.
Sounds good to me, he needs to prove it though.

Guys, this is a very objective article about LeBron James.
We must not forget that Lebron is considered the second most important in the history of basketball.

Do you have  a basis on this? You are aware that you are talking about the history of basketball, right?

who's the most important then?
The basis is just on that post and that's through that article's analysis.

The article was made of John Schuhmann so that's how he looked upon to Lebron.
That's opinion based and most of the people will react from how this analysis bring the weight. There are always different reactions and those who lived much earlier that the current era will not agree to that, MJ still on the top but there are lots of individuals who are also important from different perspectives.
Kobe who plays like MJ, shag who dominates inside, Magic and Bird who really make the history of good rivalry.

I have never been a fan of the Lakers even with Magic or Kobe, and now Lebron.
But that doesn't mean I don't idolize this guys. They are the names I shout whenever I made an assists(Magic) or shoot a fadeaway(Kobe).  Grin

Leonard can, but ever since that injury (Pachula evil mind) he became that players which had the bad attendance.
Lebron and Leonard are way different.
Actually, Leonard doesn't need to prove something anymore. He got what he want (MVP, MDP and 2 championship rings) and it is now a bonus that he plays for his home with high salary.  Wink
