It seems covid stroke Dallas Mavericks. Already last game 3 players were missing since they needed to quarantine.    Dorian Finney-Smith,    Josh Richardson and    Jallen Brunson. Now there is news also Maxi Kleber will have to quarantine. Together with Porzingis this are 3 first unit players and two that usually fist come from the bench. If it will continue like this, soon even Mavs 2-way players will have to show what they are made of.

I really start to believe that Bulls can make the play-offs this year as the city itself seems to have a new fresh air when it comes to sports. Look at NFL right now , Bears are playing after such a long time into play-offs and it wouldn't be a surprised if they win the game. So why can't Bulls reach the play-offs aswell ? They have a strong and skilled team , with a good coach and the biggest fan support around the world and also a great start of the season besides the previous ones.

(https://www.nba.com/standings) Honestly, I don't think they'll be in the playoffs this season, Lavine is good but some teams have 2 or more superstars, if they'll get into the playoffs, I'd say that's because of luck here. They are playing well, we can see that, but playoffs is a different story.

I was just saying, yeah, I know it's too early but bulls are not really getting into the top 8 spot in the last few seasons, maybe if they started strong, like the Suns are doing now, I might be convince they have a chance to be in the playoffs. Other team which are out of the top 8 now that I believe will be in the playoffs is the Rockets and they have a different case with Bulls, it's my personal opinion only by the way.

LaMelo Ball had a career night. He is the youngest player to do a triple double in NBA history now at age 19 years and 140 days. While their team Charlotte Hornets beat Atlanta Hawks 113-105, LaMelo Ball had 22 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists.

Previous record was from Markelle Fultz at 19 years and 317 days. Fultz closed the season after his knee injury two days ago by the way.

Well, this is an expressive number, I would never have imagined that LaMelo would be "able to fit" into the NBA, even break the record and become the youngest player in NBA history to perform a triple double, he is playing very well in the league.

He was able to adjust after a bad start and it looks like this team now has become a playoff team. They are underdog in their last few games but they still keep winning, soon enough they'll get the respect of the people and the bookies if they remain consistent.

Yes, I agree with you @Ziskinberg, Hornets have great potential and can grow in the future.
I don't know if Hornets is already a playoff team, in my humble opinion he needs to improve a little more to be a competitive team.

We'll see how Lamelo and Hornets will perform during the season.

Bulls are going to be one of the bottom teams.  They really don't have a good team at all.  Maybe they win some random games but over 70-80 games they will end up with 2030 wins.  They will most likely be underdogs as far as moneyline (or w/l) for the whole season and should be.

That's nice for the bulls backers as they have been giving good fight against any opponent. In the last 2 days, the faced the toughest teams in the West, they all lose but they cover the spread, it means it's very profitable betting on them.

The winning catch is most of its players are contributing to the game and averaging 10+ points for their seven players, looks like Draymond Green has most of its contribution just one piece of the pie he'd got that 3ple-double. Looks like a wrong play they've executed they should have let it to Vanvleet or Lowry (why the heck Lowry did the inbound?) but that shot was good it but not enough as it rolls out on the ring, it should have been a top play if it has been counted.

This is amazing.  Him and his brother have both been the youngest players in NBA history to score a triple double.  Lonzo did it to pass LeBron James as the youngest NBA player to record a triple double.  I'll admit that I didn't think the Ball brothers would make it in the NBA based on their Dad's delusions, but these 2 are killing it.  A shame Gelo hasn't had the same luck.  It's all been downhill for him since the China stealing incident.

Warriors got a lot of lead in the 3rd quarter but the Raptors took it to close with the 4th quarter up until they became the leading in the score.

The last remaining seconds was intense. It's for Raptors until the foul was called which gave points for the Warriors, I thought that Siakam will get inside the ring for the last remaining seconds and not a shot. Well played for both though.

Most important thing for Warriors is that they managed to win the game despite Curry having a horrendous game. You won't see shim shooting 2-16 and Warriors wining anyway too often. They showed some good team basketball, with 7 players being in double digits.


Gotta vent a bit in regard to my countrymen Zubac and his situation in Clippers. After Doc Rivers got replaced with Tyronn Lue and Montrezl Harrell left them for Lakers, I kinda expected that this will be his year and that he will finally get some decent minutes but unfortunately I was wrong. Once again he is 2nd option behind Ibaka, who is obviously  better defensive player, but Zubac is young, can score and is a great rim protector. He should have been treated as a future of Clippers and not some rotation player.

I don't think that size of Ibaka contract have to do anything with the amount of time he is playing. After all, Ibaka has only 2y/19 million contract so its not like he is on supermax. Ibaka being starter has to do with the the fact that he is pretty solid at 3 pts shooting so he is able to stretch the floor and give more room to Kawhi and Paul George. At least that's how I understand this decision but as a fan of Zubac I don't have to like it .

I am perfectly aware of the stats. But bare in mind that last season he was starter and had good chemistry with Kawhi while now he is part of the 2nd unit, which doesn't play good at all at the moment. For example, just look at Lou Williams numbers this season and compare it to previous one (he was good though in the last game vs Bulls), so no wonder that Zubac numbers ain't great either.

Fair enough, we always want the best for our favorite player. Zubac is good, he played with the Lakers and he was contributed to the team well, and now in Clippers he is doing the same, however, he does not have a star quality yet at this stage, he needs to seasoned more in order to be in the started.

Zubac is only 23 years, old, he might not be as good as the young players like Luka and Lamar Ball, but he in his role as a Center, he can improve and be more useful overtime. What I see from him now is his strength on the defense inside, on the offense side, there's a lot of room to improve.

LA Clippers played a home game against Chicago Bulls last night. Despite finishing the first half 52-59 behind, Clippers managed to turn the game around and won 130-127. On Clippers side, K. Leonard got 35 points. P. George got 28 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. L. Williams got 21 points. On Bulls side, Z. LaVine played really good (45 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists).

I watched the game and it was really enjoyable. Both sides had a very good performance. Kawhi and LaVine put on a really good show. LaVine was really close to a new career-high by 5 points. His career-high was 49 points against Charlotte in 2019.
