He will surely get reprimanded or at least a fine for violating the leagues Covid rules. And him missing in action is one sign that I would say he is guilty. And the NBA might implement stricter health protocols specially for this high caliber athletes. First it was James Harden and not Kyrie Irving, these guys needs discipline and not think that they are somewhat 'protected'.

According to the NBA rules, the penalty for skipping a game this season due to a breach of the COVID-19 protocols is 1/72th of his salary for each game. This figure is based on the 72-game season. As Irving's salary this season is $33.46 million, that would mean a substantial loss for him.

This is more than just money, it's about respect and responsibility as one of the leader of the team.

How can someone show him some love when he left his coach hanging and then his team mates? Specially that we all know Durant go to Brooklyn because of him and now he is MIA? I don't know, but with this attitude, I would say that their chances of getting into the finals are slimmer because of this as the whole organisation might be in disarray because of his actions.

Big amount for most of  us but for him? that would just be peanuts yet he can really earn those amounts without any problem but we cant really just accept the reason of such loss of

Bucks won today against Magic. What I notice is the audience. It's starting to get back to have matches in home courts of different teams.

I'm not just used to see this few crowd. But that's it, this is much better to see that it's getting back to normal although it's just a slow pace.

Eventually it will increase as the vaccine is distributed to people. Our economy will recover again and will make the sports industry to get their usual profitability. The progress is good, slowly but surely, before it's a pure bubble, but now we are already seeing a home court, soon it's gonna be the crowd.

With the other variant of the virus, it's still making that possibility into a lower chance. But if that's easier for them to be done and they're all ok to accept and welcome audiences.

That's good for all of the teams that will do that.

Its really clear that Lakers might have the fastest way to earn 20 wins this season because their team is disciplined and really follows the strict guidelines. Sixers can also get their 20 wins but due to the recent circumstances with Seth gone and Ben Simmons skipping town for some reason is really not a good way to start their games this season. They could do the bubble again but that would really require a big financial capital because some players might agree and some might not.

This was a really fun Bron coming back. Their game against the Rockets made it also clear that Harden wanted out of Houston maybe because he also thinks something is wrong with the team. Its also notable that LeBron is somehow racking his stats this past few games compared to his earlier games this season and its still clear that Lakers can win another Chip.

With the Lakers standing, they are almost half to 20 wins. It's been decided already that it's for their own courts where they'll play. And they are to decide with or without fans on their court but most of them say that they'll have no fans while having a match. I also like the bubble, there's not much problem and it was a success when they've first tried it. But let's give this a chance to see if it will surpass the bubble season.

That 3 point no-look shot from LeBron "Curry" was amazing and the bench reaction was even nicer to see. Imagine being a Houston player and see that Lakers are simply having a good time and they don't push hard in order to win ...they just having fun playing basketball... .

Same was last night with Heat as they were so close to take the win just because they played so relaxed without Bam and Butler that kinda puts pressure on teammates when they play. For Doc Rivers team this should be a big concern as they barely beat Heat with a roaster that was made in a couple of hours...

Philadelphia 76ers played a home game against Miami Heat last night. 76ers finished the first half 55-63 behind. The normal time ended 120-120 and 76ers managed to beat Heat 137-134 after overtime. It was a quite nice game. On 76ers side, J. Embiid had a great performance (45 points, 16 rebounds). D. Green made a double-double (29 points, 10 rebounds). On Heat side, T. Herro got 34 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. D. Robinson got 26 points. G. Vincent got 24 points.

Kyrie has always been a player that was a bit... different in the head let's say. It all started the period when he said he thinks earth is flat and everyone should do their research instead of trusting what others say about it. I understand the "do your own research" idea, you should, but not about the earth .

It is about round or so and that is enough, nobody even has a reason why they should lie about it neither, it is just irrelevant. At the end of the day he kept it up, and ever since those days he has been psychologically a bit difficult to handle. And these days he is just off rails, he is definitely not doing anything normal right now, all those covid rule breaks and just simple "I am not coming back" type of moves, he straight up just said he is not going to play and that's it.

I wouldn't be shocked if he would never to be a decent and wanted player ever again after this, I see his high earning period as over right now, nobody would pay tens of millions of dollars for a player who will not show up.

Houston Rockets still continue on their bad performance. They got only one win on last five games. They are at the 14th place in Western Conference (3W 6L). Harden is looking for a way out and wanted to be traded again. He thinks there is no way for Rockets to get better from now on.

Ya, Harden and Wall's press conferences after the game were pretty wild.  The last time I've seen a teammate superstar bash another superstar was Kobe getting on Shaquille for being out of shape.  Pretty crazy to see.  If I was John Wall I'd be rightfully pissed though.  I don't think anyone wants Harden in Houston anymore.  His toxicity would go great in New Jersey with Kyrie though.  They should make it happen and give us a finals to remember.

I think James Harden has already played his last game with Houston Rockets.  As per multiple reports, a trade with either Philly or Brooklyn could happen very soon, within days if not hours. Harden wants out, Rockets players not holding back after his comments last night, things just won't work out. Rockets have to decide which trade package works best for them and take the deal, be done with it...enough with the drama.

What’s everyone’s preferred methods for watching all these games? I see NBATV, league pass, Hulu, TNT, etc. all offering some sort of way to watch games, but it seems insane to pay for all of these different services. Anyone have any thoughts on the best way to watch the most NBA games without breaking the bank?

I watch them there all this season. There are 20+ different streams fro every game so if for some reason one goes down you just open other. But they are very stable. It is good to have some adblocker for some streams or you get annoyed when close all advert popups when you open the stream.

This is totally lame that Harden is getting what he wants, but it seems like a best for all involved scenario.  One thing is for certain, the Nets just became the heavy favorites in the East and I'll definitely be watching some of their games this year.  Hopefully we get the LeBron vs Kyrie Finals matchup we've so desperately craved since Kyrie left Cleveland.
