Hello Guys Off topic about "2016/17 NBA Off-Season".

Hmmm You guys realize that Shaq is the 4th best center to ever play the game of basketball?

Kareem Abdul Jabar, Wilt, Bill, & Shaq? 5th if you wanna count Duncan as a center
Most dominant? How can you be the most dominant and not be the best at your respective position...

I never saw Wilt  and Bill play but from what I understand he played with short
slow white guys and had little to no competition around the rim so very
difficult to judge.

I would put Kareem first then Shaq. I definitely respect history but its difficult to judge
when they played against garbage players.
This era is more exciting because it has a more competitive players than the past, I guess it could be because of the technology nowadays that all the information are already published in the internet, I mean for a player who wants to develop his skills he could easily check on how to do it since the information is free and even kids now are very talented as well.

shaquille o'neal has arguments over all of them and he's better than Wilt. Wilt literally has no argument over shaquille o'neal except his padded stats in a shittier era. shaquille o'neal would absolutely murder any of them, if he faced them though. Why are you melting though? shaquille o'neal has been retired for 5 years, kid.

Can't really say that they are garbage players just because you don't know them. There were a lot of great big men during the 60's and 70's. I would put Bill Russell over Shaq any day. That man can even be considered among the top five greats of all time. Over a dozen championships as a player and coach, multiple MVP awards and what have you. If anything, their play served as guidance to those big men who came after them.

We really cannot tell because they are playing in a different era, some players are better in our opinion but for other they are not that better, today's basketball is way more different from the past because today NBA players are soft and they can easily flop. Real warriors are in the past while today NBA players are some kind of gay.

Todays players are definitely soft. They are super rich and dont have much motivation except the "look at me" rap video culture we all
live in.  I respect the pioneer players much more who had jobs in the off season because they didnt have 100 million dollar shoe
contracts.

No it's not. If they are soft no one will offer a good contract to them so how they can take money?

It's just your own opinion but in reality it's not the real thing.

What do you guys think of the Los Angeles Lakers this season? How are they going to perform with a not so spectacular line up? With the projected starting five of Mozgov, Randle, Deng, Clarkson and Russell, how do you think are they going to fare against other teams? Will they be any better this season? How are they going to utilize the talents of their top pick, Ingram?

I always do believe in clarkson. I can see that he has a big potential about being the next kobe brayant in the nba? Well we all know that kobe will always be kobe but i can always see clarkson to be like him someday.

I am not quite sure Clarkson has the making of the next great superstar. Don't get me wrong, I like the kid because of his work ethic and his overall behavior. But there are a lot of things that a player must accomplish first before he could be among the best. He can be a good to great combo guard if he continues to improve on his game, although not in the elite level like Westbrook, or Chris Paul or John Wall.

they traded jose calderon i think. so they got good shooters. plus they got mozgov as a veteran center. they even acquired luol deng. they got great forwards and young guards. i do think they can fight, but not a great contender for a championship ring.

It is hard to expect that they will have a chance to rich in the playoffs this year, they need to fix the transition period first as they got new players and coach as well, it is a whole new thing for them as last season it was not actually a team play but rather a kobe bryant play.

Yeah, Jordan Clarkson my man. He is the pride of every Filipinos here in the Philippines. Clarkson has a lot of potential thats why he chose to practice more than to join our national team on olympic qualifiers. He is talented athelete no doubt about that but compare to Kobe. Kobe is the greatest of all time. Maybe Clarkson will step on Kobe's footsteps. Lets see this season what are the improvements he gained from his training.

Clarkson is still very young but already a clutch player, if he will be give more playing time and will be trusted as the main man in the lakers, he will be develop more as he will have high confidence to lead his team in the game.

He is still young. Clarkson will become a great player soon but in getting a ring you need to have a superstar team mate atleast 1 or 2. Well lets see how he plays since kobe is gone.

And they did it again with harden, james harden was not having a very good season last season because other said that is the curse of kardasian, and I can really tell because his team were sucks and was easily dominated by the golden state warriors.

Todays players are definitely soft. They are super rich and dont have much motivation except the "look at me" rap video culture we all
live in.  I respect the pioneer players much more who had jobs in the off season because they didnt have 100 million dollar shoe
contracts.

it more business now rather then sport
shame that is happen but same is in all sports not just in NBA

yes mate those who played before 2k era is more deserving to be called superstars rather than to the latest super rich stars 90's players played for pride and not for money, but today's players played for their money, don't really showed their best because they need to be in the league for their contracts and commercials.
