Dallas and Pelicans aint on Jalen's projection while Spurs and Trail Blazers is not of fivethirtyeight.
For me, Jalen's projection is more reliable than the other. Surely, they forget about Spurs and Portland there. They are hyping Dallas too much and also the rookie Zion of Pelicans with the young guns.

I will just adjust Jalen's projection as Jazz and Spurs on the 7th and 8th seed while Portalnd at 6 and Lakers  and Warriors fighting for the 4th seed.

Everybody is talking about how Giannis would improve next season and I also hope he does because the Sixers will definitely be a tough competition. I would not be sleeping on that Celtics team also now that they got Kyrie out.

Hopefully because it's both MVP playing together and this team has been in the WCF once, so in order to see some improvement, they need to be in the Finals.
I think it's still possible, but let's see... I still have to remain optimistic for their chance, seeing new team in the NBA Finals would be more fun.

I don't want to expect big, I didn't say that but if they will manage to reach the finals it's not just improvement that came to them. But the tandem and the chemistry for the team did really clicked. I'm now seeing those streamers telling their opinions about the roster for Rockets and all they say that this is the new Lakers. Seems like everyone is expecting big with this tandem but there's more to go for the league and more interesting trades are happening.

Yup, the Bucks didn't change anything, I mean why fix it if it is not broken? I think that's the management's philosophy and it was very clear that they are going to go and try their best again and reach the finals in the East. And since Kawhi is already out of the East, Bucks will be the team to beat in the EC. They don't care much about the trade, they could be concern how to be consistent and improved their chances by keeping the core line up.

They are the dark horse last season and probably they are very much satisfied with what they've achieved. And that means that they are doing good with the current roster they have. We still don't have news regarding the intense trade and signing of superstars to different teams and they have nothing to say about it now at least. They are growing together and most of their players are very well disciplined and wanting to achieved the trophy next season together.

Fair point. But as a fan, we are leaning towards the "not so good" Houston because of the pairing of the two ball hoggers in the NBA. As fans we've seen them grown individually, but being in the same team? We all have our doubts.

Of course we can't discounted the fact that injuries could happen to Lebron or Kawhi again. But if they remain healthy, I don't think that Houston can be the number one seed in the West.

Celtics already did revamped their team, main core is gone already so I don't think that they are going to be a big challenge in the East. Sixers with how Joel reacted with the lost to Toronto will proved something this year. So for me they are the one who's going to challenge Bucks and Giannis for supremacy in their conference.

It is only a projection. He might also be a Rockets fan hehehe. However, the Clippers is the top favorite to win the 2020 NBA title according to the sportsbooks. 4.16 odds for the Clippers and 12.0 odds for the Rockets in Cloudbet.

It's okay if they haven't tested yet, we're approaching the beginning stage of the season so we will definitely see on how they will be tested. The name's is on the hot seat so expect that there will be tremendous predictions that are trusting the tandem. This is not new just like what we've seen last season when Lebron has been transferred to Lakers. I agree that they are both good individiually but they have all the time to adjust and see if they can work together.

Warriors loss against the Raptors because they are not healthy, Thompson was a big reason why they loss, if he was not injured, I don't know if it's still the same outcome. 78. There is the point of Jalen. As of winning the game because of the conflict of two ball hog then maybe Mike D'Antoni is already preparing for that.
As long as both are playing healthy then it is still a good sign to be in the number 1 seed.

They were doing great when Kyrie was out. I haven't heard Kemba being a locker room diva like Kyrie and I expect him to blend well with the relatively young Celtics lads. As I said, other teams can't sleep on them. They're deadly.

If I'm not mistaken it's only the season 2017-2018 where LeBron played the whole 82 games and averages almost 40 minutes a game. The poor performance of the Cavs roster back then is the reason and he stays healthy the whole season. So in here, I don't take that as a basis for Jalen's analysis. His current teammates in Lakers is way different to that 2017-18 Cavs lineup. And if LeBron got injured again like what happened last season, Lakers still can remain competitive.

But I agree that some of Jalen's pointers do have sense. Well, he is a longtime NBA analyst.

I don't see any valid analysis yet why Westbrook and Harden are not compatible. All I read is "ball hog" which is out of the context. These two sure knows what to do "better than us".

In general, Westbrook's addition increase Rocket's offensive power as no doubt his penetrating skills and athleticism is impressive.

But I don't take that as a basis that they will be the top team in the West. Honestly, next season is unpredictable. The analysis will just remain analysis.

Kyrie will be the leader of Brooklyn Nets next season and will be their main choice for offense. No solid lineups, solid teammates, no superstars, all-stars but purely role players and some average guys that make some playoffs experience last year. He just needs to stay healthy the whole season or Nets will be doomed.
