While now, it is all about the points. Give me one team now who really is focusing on defense? Utah was good but not that tough.

NBA has evolve from defensive to offensive type of game, I blame the warriors for that, and because of the 3 point shooting of Curry and Thompson, even big man now challenge themselves to shoot 3 points and one good example is Gasol since he was so confident to shoot 3s and he shoots are falling.
Howard is a big man that doesn't know how to shoot 3s not even consistent in free true, we will see a hack a howard for sure if he will play next season.

He wanted to be the main man.

I remember reading/watching from years ago that the main reason why he ended up with the Rockets and not re-signing with the Lakers was that he thought Kobe wasn't willing to pass the torch (yet). He can't adjust to the system built around Kobe and Harden because he wanted it to be just like in Orlando where he was the main man.

I disagree that he wants to be the main man when he was on the Lakers. He already knows that Kobe is the face of the Lakers. He wasn't used to Kobe's ball hog. He complained about that since he wasn't getting the ball enough.

He likes to contribute on offense but not as the main man, however, he didn't get any chances. That's why he said later on that he will become dominate aside from scoring and it happened as he got the league leader in rebounding that season.

A center despite of his height which doesnt care about offense but just winning.
He is more into defense and we saw how he did it with his Pistons game. Whenever their game ends below 100 points then it is a win for the Pistons. That means defense did work.

Of course defense is important but you can't win games without offense. Most of the team right now is balancing their line up to have a better offense with the best defense they can get.

I doubt Lebron would have done something like that, Melo is one of his friends and if he could have signed him then he would but I am sure it was a front office decision that pisses him off. Lebron does have a bit of power but at the end of the day its Front Office that decides these things and if they wanted Dudley instead then they got Dudley.

If you let Lebron build a team I am pretty sure he would have gotten wade out of retirement, get Chris Paul and Melo and probably even Tristian Thompson to his center. Thankfully he is not such an idiot to pressure for something like that anymore and just lets FO do their work. Dudley knows he is a bench player, he knows he has to just hustle and earn his money by being a role player from bench, you literally would have to teach Melo how to be a bench role player which would cost you money more than just salary you pay.

Excuse me, I think what you mean is free throw instead of free true . Anyway, Howard is old for this game already so I think choosing him to play with these generation's  talented youngsters might be a bad idea. Much better for him to retire now, besides he was still a Superman after all and that's already a great legacy to be left.

Hope Melo will be picked by a team that will have make a great chemistry over its players, how about he back again at Denver and help those youngsters I guess that's make a great team. I am for sure there are teams that will get Melo or maybe by this news LBJ will pick him.

That Might be a good comeback if he will be able to play with his original team and bring some good inspirations, Denver can give him some slot and attract fans and supporters, we know that it's about business and if Denver will take this call it can be a good advertisement for the team bringing him back though  the drama should also be anticipated knowing how things ends up before.

Still have some time for Melo to have a team that will sign him up hopefully we'll be able to see him again playing whichever team give him the spot
to showcase his skills.

He can at least be part of the decision but we don't know the true story behind it. But I also feel that the management is the one that decided for it and just took some advice from him, it's hard to guess with these situations.

Noah is done, broke down.  He used to be great, 5 years ago.  Look at his time (or lack of time) on the knicks.  I would stay away from old vets that route never works.  I'd stick with what they got and get an undrafted rookie that scraps.

No way. I wont agree with that.
As I said, the Pistons is the living proof of it. Chauncey Billups and Rasheed Wallace have a lot of story told about what happened before.
There are times they cannot shoot the ball but what do they do? They go back to defense and also not let the team against them to score points.
This is also the reason for a low scoring Pistons game and they won it

We cannot shoot so we wont let you shoot too. It is an exhausting job but if you are trained for it then it can be an easy one.
How is it glorious?! They defended the Black Mamba. Oh! and they have Shaq! Ah! They have Phil Jackson as a coach! All are in their prime. Also, one of the leading scorers in the NBA.

In terms of the energy they can bring to the floor, I like Noah for that matter, but for overall skills, there's no doubt, Howard is better.
Noah was popular when he was playing with the Bulls together with Rose, and Lebron and Noah had a history in the past, they seem to don't like each other, you can watch youtube videos about them, so I don't think if Lebro has a say, he would choose Noah against Howard.

As far as having the right mentality of the game? I would pick Noah, hard worker that doesn't complain as much as Dwight Howard though. He will simply play the game as hard as he can to contribute whether it is in defense by getting the ball and make the opposing team to think twice before driving in the middle.

But the Lakers seems to be finding vet so their experience can be use as their advantage in the playoffs, yes, they can find a rookie, but with lack of experience, that would not make a good decision during the playoffs and we know how important playoffs is because every game matters.

Lakers is also guaranteed to enter in the playoffs because of the addition of AD, in fact in the betting lines they are the favorite to win the championship IIRC.

Aside from his poor attitude which is pretty obvious in the case of his upcoming movie and how he act every time he disagree to his coach during their conference games, what I hate him fhe most is the fact that he proclaiming himself as the real goat . Unlike MJ or Kobe (who is a better player for me) which remains humble all the time.

How about compared to Kawhi. That guy have 2 rings in 2 different teams and still doesn't talk that much.
No trash talking and just doing his job which can be seen with all his Finals game.

He leads the team but never to the point that he will not follow his coach.
Comparing the two will be an easy look. They have a lot of difference and Kawhi doesnt even talk about being the GOAT. He also won the Most Defensive Player (which is done also by MJ) but still he doesn't even have that arrogant behavior. You would not even see him fight with his team mates but rather would adjust to it and just leave the team for a better one.

It can't be avoided that there are some comparison, Leonard is good because he won the championship 2 times already and until now he is still an underrated player. Maybe because he wasn't recognize as a star when he enters in the NBA unlike Lebron James that he knew already that he can be like Kobe when he first entered in the NBA.

Leonard is still 28 years old and he will continue to develop himself, and though he doesn't have a fancy moves like Lebron and Kobe, but look at his stats, he is so consistent, he come up clutch in different important occasions and that's the quality of a real star.

I like him humbleness and this guy is so focus, he is a silent type who is a killer inside the court, but maybe he wasn't getting much appreciation when they won the championship is because the Warriors are playing without Durant and Klay Thompson in the last game, that's a big loss of the Warriors since both are part of the starting line up, he needs to prove again this year playing with the LA Clippers.
