As far as I know, Ben Simmons is suspended until March 8. This means that he is going to miss lots of games in this time period. But when Durant and him return, Nets are going to be much stronger than their current look in the regular season. They are going to be a complete team then. Seth Curry has already started playing and adapted quite quickly. I'm looking forward to watching the Durant - Simmons - Curry trio in the near future. If they strike sparks off each other, then we could watch a solid Nets in the playoffs.

Denver signed him for just that though.  They aren't going to play jokic and cousins on the floor both with starter minutes.  That would be a spacing disaster.  Cousins will probably play 15 minutes or so as a change of pace from jokic and when they need someone to clog the middle.  Not to mention the dude hasn't played nba pace for awhile.  He isn't going to just plug in and have the stamina of a starter.

I agree, he doesn't have that stamina anymore and his body, after those many injuries, is no longer fit in my opinion to be a starter.

He can give some minutes for Jokic when it's needed to have decent rest, but let them play together will slow the run and it can be abused by

their opponents knowing that in a past pace run, Cousins might be a liability.

We can't conclude as we don't know what exactly the plan of the coach for him, let's hope for the best for both him and the Nuggets.

To be fair Cousins had a very weird career so far. He was seen as a superstar when he was back in Kings, then he was traded to NOLA and never really turned back. After that he just had an injury at Nola, signed with Warriors to showcase all of his talents and win a ring meanwhile for minimum contract, then he got another injury which was even worse and lost a whole year, then he has been just going around the league for minimum.

This was literally the next generation type of great big and suddenly since his injury at Nola, he never recovered and he became just way too bad to be cared by the teams. Now he is 30+ and I doubt he could ever be good.

I haven't heard before that Simmons is going to come back on March 8th. It seems to me Ben is still far from solving his mental issues. Therefore, it's unlikely he would have decided to make his season debut just a couple of days before a principled game against the 76ers. By the way, his former teammate Danny Green also doubts that Ben will play against the 76ers.

I think it's something about self-decision and not a suspension. His first appearance playing with the Brooklyn Nets will be against the Philadelphia 76ers on March 10. He is now preparing his mental health for that since we know that he didn't properly part ways with the team who originally drafted him and take care of him for several seasons.

Nets will become much stronger if he now played? Sorry but I doubt. Simmons is an ISO player too like Durant. If Irving, Durant, and Simmons will play at the same time, together with Mills and Seth, it's like they are sharing the court with the same role and that's not good. As we can see, Embiid already tried Harden's step back but failed in the first try but in the second try, he managed to execute it well though it's not even that long since he practice it.

Just watched the video and I think that Simmons being trained by Korver who is one of the best three point shooters of all time can help him not only to shoot from threes maybe but to regain his confidence that he lost when he is in Philly.

Correct me but I've seen some articles in the past saying that Simmons has an attitude problems when he is Philly that is why they can't train him thus, he isn't that efficient especially when it comes to shooting. Now that he is in a different team and with Korver, I just hope that he will redeem himself and help his team to get a championship. With him, Kyrie and Durant, they are unstoppable (at least for me). A good defender and 2 shooters and a good supporting squad as well.

What I find amusing is he really wants to learn and is not the stubborn type anymore. Maybe the rumors are true about the locker room issue and not the "forcing to shoot" thing.
I'd like to see him build that up and maybe in a year or a couple, it will be a normal move. About his return, it is said to be March 8 but it could be sooner and so is Durant.

I can't believe there's a fixed suspension like that for Simmons but it's likely he's personal reason on when will he play and I think it will be March 10 when they head-to-head with his former team. Seems a much watch play and it's the day as well that Durant will play.

There are plans for their city to lower down the restriction and might irving can play full time if that one happen.

Also if Irving and Simmons can create good relationship together with their teammates then provably they can work well together, we know they have issues with their teams before but if they can work out their chemistry and get a win on most of their games then provably they can heat up this team and might it will take them on better spot on the league.
