I just want to ask because I want to have a different topic here aside from the ones that you have right now. We know already that Lillard wants to be out of Trail Blazers already. Now there hasn't been any confirmation, but the team that might suit him the best is the Miami Heat. What do you think? Will Lillard really fit with the Heat, and if yes, who will be the ones that they're willing to give for him?
I have reservations about Lillard's suitability for the Miami Heat. His style of demanding the ball and taking many shots may not align with the Heat's system, where players work diligently and share the ball effectively. However, if he is willing to make adjustments, I believe he has the potential to fit in well. Moreover, Lillard is a remarkable individual, and if he can adapt to the team's system, there should be no problem integrating smoothly.
You can never tell until you see him play. I'm sure he isn't inconsistent like Westbrook, and just imagine if the Heat were to acquire Lillard and pair him with Butler. They would become more unpredictable, as both Butler and Lillard could carry the team. Additionally, Lillard would learn to play great defense, an aspect they didn't emphasize as much in Portland.

If he fits with the system maybe he can be a good addition to the team, but my personal take, Miami needs big role player
who can help Bam inside.

They are missing shots and they only got slim chance to grab the offensive rebounds, with big man inside the chance of getting another
chance will give them opportunity to reset the rotation.

But like what you said, we never know till we see them playing together. Let see if Heat will go and offer him something.

The Heat have suddenly started playing like the Warriors, heavily relying on their 3-point shooting despite not being known for it. Their big men consist of Kevin Love and Zeller, both of whom have already passed their primes. If they manage to add another big man, although it's uncertain who that would be, I believe they will improve.

However, it would be difficult to resist the allure of Lillard. If he wants to be traded, the question remains: who would be traded for him? Alternatively, if he becomes a free agent, can the Heat's salary cap accommodate him?

And just like the Warriors, you live and die on the 3 point line, and that's exactly what happened to game 3 and 4, when the Heat thought that they can win on the 3 point range or outside shooting, comes a bad shooting night for them. And after that they never recovered.

To early to talk about what's going to happen and who's who on the trading block unless it's going to be confirmed.

Lillard prime years though might be gone with all the injuries he suffered.

KCP is now twice a NBA champion, first with the Lakers and now with Denver Nuggets.
Dude, I really like KCP.

He's been traded after winning the title with Lakers and now he's with the Denver Nuggets. I hope that he won't be traded again and he's good to stay with his team. They've got a chemistry and he's always there when he's needed on those important minutes of the game.

I really don't know what the Lakers traded him though, I guess it's just the series of the Lakers trying to upgrade their roster and getting rid of him. And I think Lebron has confidence in KCP, perhaps it was just the mentality.

But they won a ring together so that's good. And now another one for KCP this time with Jokic. And if I'm not mistaken, there is another former Laker on that roster, which is Thomas Bryant, who requested to be traded at the deadline because he doesn't want the minutes and exposure he got from the Lakers when AD comes back. However, he didn't play that much with the Nuggets as well, but still he is an NBA champion as well.
Le-GM wants Westbrook that badly at that time that he's willing to give up players just to get him.
Well, we saw what happened to the Lakers after that controversial trade I would say.

Aside from the players you've said. Let's give credits to DeAndre Jordan as well who didn't play in the whole NBA Finals obviously, but did got a championship ring. He even surpassed his old teammate CP3 who until now doesn't have ring at all, and now has been waived from the Suns. Ish Smith who played for 13 teams for 13 NBA seasons. Jeff Green, the veteran on the team who now got a title. Now the question is will the same Nuggets roster can repeat it. It's too early I guess, so let them enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

I guess it's kinda late for Lillard to ask for trade, but not sure what Miami Heat though? We know that Kevin Love wanted to play with Portland as he is a native on that city and we thought that he will move and then played with Lilliard.

So not sure if that will be a good trade if ever though, seems that Miami is really set to just have low key players. Of course they have Butler, but he is a good leader and I doubt that Pat Riley is wiling to trade with his superstars. Plus Dame has been plagued with injuries already that's why I said it's kinda late for him or even the Blazers to trade him. But let's see, how it goes, maybe some other teams are willing to pick up his services.

The Nuggets will likely be the favorite to win the championship next season, but I believe other teams will also improve due to the upcoming trades. You know what I'm saying. At least the new season will be more competitive since the team that won the championship this year is not a super team, unlike in the past when the Warriors and the Cavaliers won their respective championships.

If the Nuggets can really do that then there will be no doubt that this era is for them and since they are impossible to beat when they're all healthy, the other teams will surely have some major adjust about their rosters, especially the way their play in order to have high chance to beat Nuggets if ever they will gonna play in the NBA playoffs or in the finals because that's when they are deadly both in their offense and defense. Since we will see some new rookies next season, I think for the Nuggets to stay at the top will be one of their hardest challenges next season.

Most likely they will be the favorite, just like other defending champions. And as long as they are healthy in the beginning of the season and keeping with what they do this year like getting into the top 1 spot in the West, maybe they can duplicate their win and then we talk about dynasty.

But it's going to be very tough to win back to back in NBA right now. The team are almost balance and they always try to improved their lineup and getting good players are role and bench players too to complete their roster.

Agreed, it appears we've entered the Nuggets era. With Jokic dominating the league, would we witness the rise of the center position again, rather than just outside play? Is the landscape-altering once more? That would be entertaining to watch if it ever happened. Other teams should have an early strategy for competing with Jokic or dominating inside the paint.

Maybe to early to tell they just only won one championship yet. But maybe in next season if they can able to defend their title maybe all of us can agree that its their era and might they can create dynasty if they can be more consistent the same like what they play this year.

But also for sure as Jokic became the MVP this season provably many scouts or teams will find the same like skill set what Jokic have.

When it comes to big men, it is difficult to find someone with the same skills as Jokic. Even among the current popular big men in the NBA, there is no other player who consistently contributes triple doubles throughout the season or who can make his teammates better like Jokic does. Despite Embiid being named the regular season MVP, he is not as good as Jokic.

Yeah, Jokic is one of a kind. Most of the big men dominant only the paint but very awful on perimeter shots, free throws and assist while Jokic have them all. Jokic has a very sharp eye even before since he use his height to have a better view on the position of his teammates to make a good passed as well as shots.

He is the only big man that I know that is very confident on outside shooting and still monster on the paint. Shaq once the dominant big man on his era but his useless on shooting and free throws. It’s very hard to find Jokic since he is one of kind and Nuggets developed him for 9 years before he attain this level.

Celebrations are still ongoing for Denver Nuggets championship run. But in Miami Heat's quarter, rumors about their eagerness to improve their line-up are already circulating. It's not a secret that the team although consisting of many undrafted players over-achieved knocking out the top-seeded Bucks and the NBA champion favorite Celtics.

Kyrie Irving is one of the names circulating. I am not a fan of Irving. I felt he is more of a liability to his teams since he left Cleveland. But maybe he will change and plays better under Spoelstra and Butler? There's also Damian Lillard's willingness to play in Miami if ever he leaves Portland.

That's due to his discipline and passion. Despite achieving superstar status, Jokic has never had issues like other popular players such as Irving or Durant. He remains loyal to his team and consistently praises his teammates whenever they win. This chemistry with his teammates has greatly contributed to his improvement and the team's overall success.

Well, in the end, it went as expected for the Denver Nuggets. They have got the win and also currently are the winners. Denver Nuggets game in the third and the fourth quarter. It was a good comeback from them after being behind in the first and second quarters.

Jokić was again exceptional. He had a standout performance even in the fifth match. What I liked was that the game was really close.

The Miami Heat is expected to improve the squad. And I believe with some improvements, they will be able to show more consistent performance. I know that a lot of people did not expect them to even reach the finals because of the inconsistency.

I think most people believed that the Miami Heat wouldn't win this series.  I don't think they could have beaten the Lakers either.  Boston might have had a chance, but couldn't get over the hump.

Congrats to the Denver Nuggets.  They have a great young roster and I have no doubt they'll be one of the 4 teams left standing towards the end of next season.

Now all eyes are on free agency.  It looks like the Suns are going to be the first ones to make a splash as they are desperately trying to get anything they can for Chris Paul and are also looking at trading DeAndre Ayton for someone like Terry Rozier, which I think will be a mistake.

Jokic has become a star player in the NBA and he and his teammates have succeeded in bringing the Nuggets to championships.
Well he is a very good player on the field and is always watched by opposing players when the ball is in his hands.
With a large and tall body, he can more freely play the ball so he can shoot easily.

Agree with this mate jokic has the ability and capabilities in terms of shooting out side and we all know that even in his height he can totally make a points in 3 point areas so without a doubt he is one of a kind. And also by the help of his teammates thier chemistry bring them to the victory.. they swipe the Lakers then in the finals they give only 1 point from Miami.

The Denver Nuggets will be able to value their dependable player even more so it would be impossible to trade KCP who helped to claim the title.
KCP will be able to be a Nuggets player for much longer and I'm sure he can give the best for the Nuggets in the next few championships.
That's also what I am thinking of unlike the Lakers management. After winning the championship, many of their key players were traded but despite that they still managed to get into the playoffs even if they had a terrible start last season.

I also quite like KCP because the way he plays, in my opinion, often gives unexpected surprises that makes opposing players a little confused about taking action.
We can look on when he's being used by Malone. And those were like the crucial times and when important plays needed to be made and he's there.

I'm not a big KCP fan but I will say that picking him up was the final piece they needed to get over the top.  I think he's the weak spot in their starting rotation but does his job well enough for them to win at the highest level.  I'd be looking to upgrade him or continue developing Bruce Brown to take his spot.  The Lakers on the other hand could have used him on their roster and I think losing players like KCP and Dwight Howard are the reason the Lakers struggled after their bubble win.  I'm a little curious what actions the Nuggets are going to take with their roster this offseason.  As long as they keep Jokic, Gordon, Porter, & Murray though, they'll be just fine.

Honestly, that sounds unrealistic, and I highly doubt we will ever see Lillard and Butler together in Miami. Let me remind you that Lillard still has a huge contract with the Blazers, and their management is unlikely to want to discuss a trade with the Heat because the Heat can't really offer them anything if Butler stays. The way I see it, the Heat can get Lillard either by trading Butler and a couple of role players or by trading Adebayo and literally half the team.

This is what i like about Jokic on which he could really be an all rounder depending on the situation or gameplay on which on the time that he do sees that he's really that free to shoot, then he would  definitely do it
without any hesitance. The good thing about him is that he's really that a shooter whether under the basket, make out some jumpshots on free throw line and could really splash out some 3's on which you could really say that he's an all rounder and something that very rare i should say. Also everything couldnt be possible if there's no teamwork on which you do see those passing or assist is really that effective. They do really
know to rotate out the ball and if there are some tough situations like their methods and ways had been altered out then they could really make out that easy switch up on which it would really be
able to cope up. I couldnt really see that Miami wouldnt stand a chance on Lakers knowing that they hadnt been sweep by Denver after all.  Grin

I think Shaq being as dominant as he was on the paint makes him better than any big men I have ever seen in my life. I haven't seen Kareem or Bill or Wilt because they were before my time and seen a few videos at the time but that doesn't mean that I am going to end up seeing Jokic and think he is better than Shaq was. He was unstoppable and you knew what he would do and yet you couldn't stop him.

Teams literally got 3-4 big guys just to put them behind him and foul him, think about it, teams literally built their roster around Shaq, nobody is doing that for Jokic, and will never do because that's not his style but that's the difference. Jokic is amazing don't get me wrong, he is a top 20-30 player of all time even right now, and he still has career left, but I won't put him above Shaq.

Man, I can feel this Suns team is desperate they already had a team that could have a huge potential at winning the championship, but Jokic and the whole Nuggets team did not allow it to happen LOL! I was even thinking for the team who will win the championship this year is either the Nuggets or Suns, depends on who wins the series between these 2 in the 2nd round. I don't see no team betting the Nuggets or the Suns in that playoff tree.
Now, the Suns will become even more desperate as the Nuggets are also making their moves trading away their 2029 first round protected pick with the OKC. The Nuggets are really serious about repeating and maximizing their chances while their team is rock solid. I honestly see this Nuggets team appearing in the Finals in the next 2-4 years if they keep Jokic and Murray healthy in the playoffs.
