Let's not get ahead just yet. Dwight Howard is not yet signed with the Golden State Warriors just yet but he got the approval of most veterans of the team so it's a good sign.

IMO, I like to see him play one more time in the NBA. I want to see that bully ball that he played against Nikola Jokic and every big man in the league.
I don't really care if he scores or not, just that mere defensive strength will get my hopes high about him. He may be seasoned but he can still play and looking at his physical attributes, he still got it.
It will just depend on Coach Kerr if he will give him the minutes if ever the Warriors management will sign him even for a veteran contract.

Dwight Howard is defensive with his strength which is unmatchable, always ready to take on his opponents with zero chances of losing the ball. Perhaps he's on the rader of Warriors, the coach, Kerr picks interest in him and would be excited to blend him into the team were he will explore more options. Dwight Howard is often consistent but with severe injuries, he's an outstanding player who needs enough time to gain form and fall back to the team. There are expectations from his supporters, because he's am important player and his presence will definitely benefits his new team.

Max he gets is 10 minutes of playing time.  He has almost 20 years of nba mileage on his body.  Old teams never work.  He is a vet presence for the most part who could possibly help the younger guys out. With the way the game has changed do ypu really think he wants to play jokic out on the 3 point line?  He will get slaughtered out there.

But he is no longer in his prime though, maybe can play defense, but I don't see him as one of the best centers that we have in recent years. He is there, if ever the Warriors signs him, to give minutes when Looney is resting as he is the main center of the team.

So he is not the missing pieces that we should expect, he that his minutes will be restricted as a Warriors, but he should do his best when given the opportunity and for sure the Warriors are going to be very happy with that.

We've got some rumors again that came out related to Damian Lillard and it's another team that's interested to trade him. It is the Chicago Bulls that are interested in acquiring Damian Lillard. What do you think about this? The article says that they're likely to trade LaVine for Lillard.

I would say the Blazers will reject all of the Bulls' offer for sure.
The Heat has better assets compare to the Bulls, and yet they didn't make a deal with them. What are the assets Chicago has? Lavine? Hardly an all-star caliber anymore. Vucevic? Who will be their center if they will trade him? After those 2, they don't have any attractive assets anymore that will make the Blazers trade Dame. Overall, I would say Miami would be a better team for Dame than Chicago.

I guess him not being given enough time with the Lakers made him like that in the locker room thus, the Lakers didn't sign him anymore.
I would agree with you if you said that he's a good center, but a top 10? Right now, I don't think he is. I can enumerate some center that for me is better than him. Jokic, Embiid, Giannis, Sabonis, Adebayo, Ayton, Gobert. Even centers like Mitchell Robinson, and Brook Lopez are better than him for me so I don't think that he's still a top 10 center right now.

The fact that they got rid of JaVale simply means they are looking for a better big man. JaVale can't keep up with the fast pace, so his minutes are limited. I don't know, but maybe Dwight could play some significant minutes, especially in the fourth quarter, where sometimes the Warriors have meltdowns.

CP3 alley-oop to Howard, we will see more of that once the season starts and when the deal is finalized.

That's if the Warriors will give him a contract. We will see that kind of connection... or not.
I remember how CP3 is giving DeAndre Jordan some lobs when he's still in the Clippers, and that Jordan dunking over a guard named Brandon Knight a few years ago became a meme. Would we see that kind of lobs again? Probably, but I would love to see it. After all, the Warriors still needs a big that can play for at least 10 mins per game.

He still wants to go to the Clippers apparently, but so far that hasn't happened.  There are other teams interested like Miami, but only if they don't get Lillard and people are also complaining he is a hard player to coach. Very unprofessional and getting old.

If I remember it correctly, after playing with Kobe (RIP), which didn't work well for the Lakers. And I think it was the beginning wherein other teams think that he has an attitude, and so he bounce back from teams to teams and lost that enigma around him as the best center.

And we all know that he also got injured throughout his career. But I do agree that maybe he can still be that center that can intimidate anyone, but he should drop that attitude already specially if the Warriors absorb him as it's the best team that he could be getting after his years of not playing in the NBA. He should take his great opportunity.

We all knew that but he is past his prime but we're all happy to see him that there's this interest of getting him back on the league and with a good team, the Golden State Warriors. He's still one of the best defensive guy that a team can ever have, he may be older this time but his height and body are still the same. I'm thinking if he's heard with his tweet before and that was like the FIBA world cup when he's calling out that he can still play for the NBA. I guess it's hard to find  pieces for the other team to trade for a veteran superstar who most likely not going to make any difference if not being surrounded by another star or an excellent role players. Can't deny that Dame is not capable of leading a team to a championship, he'd be a great addition to any team who's already built to compete in the playoffs.
It's just ridiculous to think that some veteran superstars are now desperate to have a ring, bad thing is they'll create a drama to make their way out of their respective organisations lol.

I’m actually glad they did and hope they hold onto him. I think Ayton was a big part of their run for the Finals and with a new coach I’m expecting him to have a big year.

There will be significant changes in the lineup that could affect their chemistry. Having a versatile center with great perimeter shooting is already a significant advantage over others. I think they should keep him, as there are only a few big men who can do that nowadays. Ayton is still young and healthy, so it's necessary for him to be in the lineup, while Durant, Booker, and Beal should focus on offense.

If today’s workout with Green and CP3 goes well, I think he’ll be a Warrior. I’m excited about it not just from a defensive end, but for what he brings to the table on offense. I thought having a roll to the basket alley-oop threat has been missing since they got rid of JaVale McGee. Dwight would likely open up things for Curry and Klay to get more looks.

I agree. Looney is also not that type of a player, he mostly gets his score from offensive rebounds and then a put-back. Now, the Warriors could widen their options with an alley-oop play for Dwight Howard and since most teams are playing small ball he could dominate on that end. Defensively, he ain't a problem, we saw that during the bubble and it was just 3 years ago, I doubt he changed that much in just 3 years. Speed, agility, following the pace and chemistry, should be enhanced during their training if they want to be champions one more time.

Oh, and Draymond Green is not happy about how the news about Dwight Howard working out with him and Chris Paul leaked out that fast. I think they meant to do this as a secret and will just surprise everyone when the contract is given to Dwight.

There's nothing wrong with Andrew Ayton and seems to doing everything he can to get them back to the NBA finals so there's no reason for him to be traded to the other teams with some low offers. with the new fresh coach and other new players recently added, they will get back to that easily if they have some sort of player that can stop Jokic this year. I think KD will be able to play more comfortably this season because he rests well and finally gets back on track.

There's nothing wrong with Andrew Ayton and seems to doing everything he can to get them back to the NBA finals so there's no reason for him to be traded to the other teams with some low offers. with the new fresh coach and other new players recently added, they will get back to that easily if they have some sort of player that can stop Jokic this year. I think you are referring to Deandre Ayton, and yes, there's nothing wrong with him because his stats during the finals against the Bucks is just good enough. We can check his stats and we can see that he was really contributing to the team, it's just that Booker has some struggle too, but that was 6 games, so the team is still good in competing with the Bucks who are the bigger team I think.

Deandre Ayton has averaged 14.7 points, 12.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 6 games in the NBA Finals in his career.

Correct, Harden is just chasing a ring and if he cannot get that on Miami for sure the same scenario what he do from his past teams he would leave them. Imagine the assets wasted if that scenario will happen to them so maybe its better for them to stick with their current roster and improve by signing some free agents that can help their team to became more stronger on certain areas. Harden is working for his own stats and not for his team so hopefully Miami will not gamble to get a toxic player in their team.

And I don't know who Dallas Mavericks offer though, I mean they already lost some of their good players when they acquire Kyrie, so I doubt that they still have some to offer in the trade.

Good that Ayton remain with the team, I think what he needs is motivation and not criticism as what his former coach do to him. And with a solid line up already, I don't think that the Suns needs to messed up everything as they need Ayton, just like when they had a good run in the finals years ago against the Bucks.

If it's true that he is very unprofessional and hard to coach, then no team would be interested in him. He might just end up with the 76ers if the team decides not to trade him, but they will bear the losses for not letting James Harden play or allowing Harden to choose not to play. The 76ers were a struggling team before but improved when they had Embiid, and it looks like they are regressing to a past scenario.

I agree, it seems that coach Monty has singled out Ayton's performance and so Andre wants to leave Phoenix that time. But with a new coach and it seems that the roster has been overhauled already, I think Ayton might be thinking of staying with the Suns for now.

Dallas Mavericks? they seems to can't find a perfect fit with Luka and I don't think that Ayton will be the missing pieces, in my opinion. Luka should be getting like maybe some role players that will do the job.
