They really need other players to step up, Lebron and AD alone can't do that much, Austin tried a bit this time around but that didn't really worked out that well for him neither considering they still lost. Inefficiency of the players when Lebron is not around could be their biggest problem, when he is on the floor, even if he doesn't play that well (although he plays well) at least he gets the defenders on him, 35 points just last game, 24 here, and I think the point is that when defenders are on him, others have easier shot selection.

But when he is not around, everyone plays terrible, because they are not aware of what they should do, and end up shooting contested terrible shots. I think it should be noted down that the yare not careful about what they are doing without him, and the coach needs to figure out a way to make them understand how they should play when he is not on the floor.

Well, it's obvious they have some issues but don't underestimate teams like the Magic. They have a very strong up and coming young core with a lot of potential.
In my opinion on a good day they can beat pretty much anybody.

Plenty of teams now have a young core, teams like the Magic, the Rockets and so on might look like an easy win but they surprise more and more often. Also they have a bright future, such as OKC and even the Jazz.

Good observations right there. I believe in the next 3-5 years there will be a new young talented team that will dominate the league. The Orlando Magic maybe one of these teams if they will try to build there roster around Banchero and Wagner. These 2 are the most promising young talent for the team, they just need to find pieces that would perfectly compliments these rising superstars or they just need this young team to develop a good chemistry.
If the Nuggets will win back-to-back championship this year, they might be the new dynasty currently.

Banchero and Wagner both are young and talented if the core will continue playing with good chemistries it's no impossible that they can be
a contender in the near future, so far what we are seeing is a good team that have that trust with each other.

Just looking forward to see that the managements and the coaching staff will continue to keep them and let them grow with one another.

Though too early for concluding that kind of win against the Lakers is something that may boost the whole squad to work harder
and win more against super team from this league.

Warriors lost on the road. Maybe the Cavaliers was favored on this one because they have the homecourt advantage, and it seems like they defended their home. Good win for the Cavs.

They really need that win because it would be their first victory at home. You can imagine how the fans would react if they can't win on their home court. Once again, it was clear that the Warriors faced a size disadvantage. They couldn't stop the Cavaliers from attacking the paint, and they struggled to prevent offensive rebounds by their opponents. You see, the Warriors played a small-ball style of game, and their best chance to win is by shooting with a high percentage. Unfortunately, in this game, they didn't do that.

They need to perform better than these stats to secure a win.

GSW started well but I am still unconvinced that they can maintain the top 3 seed in the West. The same with Dallas, Kyrie has been a disaster over the years since leaving Lebron.

I can see the Warriors maintaining their strong performance because they're healthy now, and they've been dominant in the past. The territory they're in now is familiar to them. Despite their struggles last season, people tend to forget how good the Warriors are. Curry is still in his prime, and with CP3 contributing well, it wouldn't be a surprise if they eventually climb to the top and overtake the Nuggets.

Overtake Nuggets? I doubt that, GSW has a very poor defense in the paint which Nuggets dominate the most plus the fact that they have 3s too and good defense. Joker is unstoppable while his teammates are already contributing consistently on each of their match. MPJ is now showing some consistency on his game to help Jokic on points. I wonder how GSW can stop Nuggets if their accuracy on perimeter shots will be awful. So far Curry is consistent but a good defender will stop him.

Judging on paper, yes, the Nuggets seem to have the edge over the Warriors. It has always been the weakness of the Warriors, which is their defense in the paint and rebounding, as they choose to play small ball. Just like their game at home against the Kings, there was a huge disparity in rebounding, as the Warriors only got 36 while the Kings had 48. But it ended up well for the Warriors as they won by 1 point. However, the Kings are not the Nuggets, who are the defending champions.

In the East, it's a bit different. The Boston Celtics seem to be the clear dominant team, so it's likely they'll end up as the number 1 seed. They deserve that top spot, and according to the betting odds, they're the favorites to win the championship this season.

Yeah, Most of the team on East is still on adjustment phase. No doubt that Boston will be top seed or 2 since they have their main player that is still performing well. I just hope that they will not choke this year.

I’m impressed on the improvement of White since he have more play time now.

White has been pretty consistent and clutch, so the Celtics are lucky to have him. He was the reason why their series with the Heat in the last playoffs went to game 7 because of his last shot.

However let's talk about Marcus smart, while the Celtics remain undefeated, Smart and his team are still winless. No luck for him.

In GSW, there are a lot of players on the roster that should never be in the playoffs and they are trying to tolerate them all with the coach and this and that and they are struggling. Boston and Denver are heavy favourites this year. Denver matchup is a matchup that I think can be handled both in terms of bench and top 5, the warriors are more adverse to them, but I think this team has no chance against the Bucks and Boston coming from the east. The most adverse matchup to the warriors in the west is the Lakers. The warriors lost to Cleveland this morning. When we leave Curry aside, there is no one on this team who threatens the basket and as soon as he attacks the basket with the ball, the whole opponent collapses on him because there is no elite shooter on this team except Thompson and he is inconsistent.

I still don’t understand how the Cavs who were 2-4 managed to be the favorites over the 5-1 Warriors, let alone how they ended up actually winning.  You’d think Stephen Curry was injured or something, but other than Draymond Green getting kicked in the balls it seemed like their team was all healthy. 

I also noticed yesterday that the Cavs were the favorites over GSW. Luckily I was so busy yesterday that I wasn't able to do some more research so I did not make any bets. All of the GSW stars played while the Cavs were enjoying a home-court advantage. So just today I did some research out of curiosity on the odds yesterday. The Cavs while playing at home were actually winless and it's their first win today. And GSW were also undefeated on the road so today is their first loss.

It was listed as questionable, but he did play. However, it didn't help much as he was struggling with his shooting, just like CP3, who only finished with 5 points on 2/10 shooting. It would have been acceptable if he had contributed more assists, but he only managed 2 in this game.

I believe the Warriors will bounce back tomorrow, even though they are playing in a back-to-back game. They are facing the Pistons, who are also in a back-to-back game and recently suffered a loss to the Suns. The Warriors should be able to secure this win.

So at the moment, only Boston remained flawless. The first 5 are capable of scoring in any game, it's just crazy, it is so damn hard to guard all of them from point guard to center. I hope they remain healthy throughout the whole season.

The Nuggets were flawless prior to their defeat by the Wolves. The Celtics' next game will also be against the Wolves. Will their flawless record be ruined?

That was the initial report. He was listed as questionable, but he chose to play. If he had been reported as out, we wouldn't have expected him to play. Regardless, the outcome still didn't favor the Warriors.

The Warriors' loss doesn't diminish their morale, especially when playing against a playoff team like the Cavaliers. However, their next game will be against the Pistons, whose standing isn't strong, as they are ranked 13th in the East with a 2-5 win-loss record, so they have a good chance of winning here.

They do have a good chance, though, especially since Detroit isn't a playoff team like the Cavaliers. If the Suns were able to win by double digits even when only Durant was the remaining star player, a healthy Warriors team should be able to perform even better. Perhaps they can secure a win by over 20 points, considering that the Pistons aren't a strong defensive team like the Cavaliers. Additionally, Curry tends to step up after a loss, and his winning mentality is quite evident. We'd love to see his Splash Brother, Klay Thompson, returning to his old form.

I'm shocked McCollum got a collapsed right lung, such a freak injury for any sport/esport on the planet. Imagine having a collapsed lung mean that you can't breathe like a normal person does, and chances of getting life-threatening event at anytime! Definitely not something that a player could rest for months and heal itself. Prayers up for McCollum!

Me too, I got contacted with covid during the pandemic, and Imma say it's the worst that I've had, I had difficulty in breathing but it's manageable if I can stay calm and trying not to move a lot. Our lungs is a vital organ, that means his chances of getting back to sport is low and living a normal is out of money's reach.

Yeah that's a new one.  Like you said acl, ankle sprains etc are the norm.  Pelicans can't catch a break, they have a solid squad but can't keep everyone on the court for too long.  Haven't seen but have they said how long he will be out?  Pelicans are my long shot to make some noise in the playoffs this year.

And that is the risk that the Bucks has taken, I mean for sure the management knows the potential downside of the trade, losing their best defender and then another one in Grayson Allen. And after the first game, it looks like the Bucks has gotten their money's worth with the trade as he carry the team against a very tough Sixers that time. But after that game, they have struggled even in their own home court.

How about the Spurs vs. Pacers game? The fourth quarter just ended, and it was too easy a win for the Pacers, as they finished with a 41-point lead. By the way, the Pacers grabbed 60 rebounds in this game, while the Spurs collected only 42 rebounds. Looks like the Spurs players were completely helpless in the paint since there was such a big difference in rebounds.

1 more triple-double for Nikola Jokic. 108th in the regular season. He passed Jason Kidd and Lebron James with 107. He is now on the 4th place and above him is Magic Johnson with 138. I don't think it's going to take long before he passes him too.
35 points, 14 rebounds, and 12 assists. He is indeed a monster.

Bad start for the Nuggets but the 3rd quarter became a critical moment for them especially Gordon who became the rim protector against Valanciunas. Heck, even the Over 243 was suddenly reached because of the three-point shots raining down.
