Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks

It's painful to watch this Pistons. Bucks made 30 points difference in just 14 minutes. I know I should've bet for them at -20.5 handicap but I couldn't. There's no place for emotions in that. Meh, let's enjoy the game. Beauchamp started good, now Portis is feeling himself. They don't even need Giannis tonight.

It’s hard to imagine that a team of professional athletes can win so few games and lose so badly. It’s like they’re not trying to win games…

I was bummed to see that Bradley Beal was injured again yesterday. Looks like he only got 4 minutes on the court with Durant and Booker. I hope he gets healthy soon and there was some silver lining as he shot 2-2 for 6 points while draining a 3 and a free throw for a 4 point play that left him injured.
For me, they aren't professional players, but from what I see, they're like a bunch of collegiate players that are playing in the NBA.
I mean how can a team have a losing streak of 23 games? If it's a winning streak then that's something that they can be proud of, but a losing streak of 23? What the hell is wrong with the team? I wonder how the Pistons fans are feeling right now when they see their team have this kind of achievement... a negative achievement. Cheesy

The record is 28 games, and they're now on 23. Their next 6 games will be against Phoenix, Atlanta, Utah, Brooklyn 2x, and Boston. Out of the 5 teams they'll be facing, the highest chance of them winning is against Utah which is kind of having a rough season as well. The rest will just demolish them. TBH, we might see the 28-game losing streak to be broken by this Pistons team. That's how awful they are right now.

As for Beal, he will be out for a few weeks, and it's good that it wasn't that serious at all. It's just a bit unfortunate that in all of their 25 games, Durant, Beal, and Booker only played 1 game, and they lost on that one as well. I wonder if this might be the same as what happened with the Nets when they still got Harden, Irving, and Durant.

Beal hasn't come back fully yet and he was injured again. I wonder how it would affect his confidence now knowing that he hasn't contributed to the team yet. It was always been Durant and Irving who  had consistent contribution to the team, but without Beal which they gave up players for him, I doubt the Suns will have a chance to be in the championship this season, even if Durant and Booker would play like their usual.

Afterward, Suns coach Frank Vogel said that X-rays were negative.

This is the only good news! At least there's still a chance.

Draymond Green has a $100 million 4-year deal. There's still a yearly computation because NBA salaries usually increase each year until the whole contract is consumed. So Green is averaging $25 million per year and paid around $300k per game. His 5 days suspension when he choked Gobert cost him over a million then. Yet here he is again punching someone in the face.

So it seems like losing a million doesn't bother him at all. Well tbh, if I have around $200 hundred million worth of assets and another $100 million coming into my bank account in the next few years I wouldn't mind losing a few million as well, especially when I bet a lot.

Surely Draymond Green deserves to be suspended and fined a million dollars but I think this is not fair as you can see many surely blamed Draymond Green for what had been happening to him in recent weeks and it was like Draymond Green has not signed by Joe Lacob but instead sign by Dana White because of his action recently but for me I think that Suspension is not going to fix the Draymond Green problem, and you can see the list just will continue, the hitting below the belt on LeBron James, the Stomping on Domantas Sabonis, the Headlock on Rudy Gobert, the latest Jusuf Nurkić, and the Fiasco over Jordan Poole, for sure Draymond Green deserves the ejection, suspension and fine, but we didn't see the real picture on why did Draymond Green retaliated like that, I think it will not stop if the NBA didn't give any punishments to the people that started it all even though it is just a faint action they make I think it is the cause of all the commotion that is happening the LeBron James incident were Bron walk over Draymond Green I think that is disrespectful, The Domantas Sabonis ankle lock that led to stomping, and the Rudy Gobert even though he is not trying to hurt Klay I think Rudy Gobert should stop his teammates and not other teammates and I think that is the one that got Draymond Green heated up and try to protect Klay, next is Jusuf Nurkić grabbing the Jersey of Green, that led to a retaliation swing, and lastly the Jordan Poole Fiasco as we all know Jordan Poole have said something to Draymond Green that led to that and we all know that Jordan Poole has some issues with his attitude,

I am saying all this because I think the NBA should also give credit to the people who started it all and not to the one who initiated the hurt even though the holding of Jersey is not that high I think Draymond just got irritated about it but one thing is for sure Draymond Green didn't initiates all of it,

Some surprising results today.

Miami Heat won through a Jimmy Butler perimeter buzzer-beater against the Chicago Bulls.
The Golden State Warriors somehow won the game after they wasted a 13-point lead against the Brooklyn Nets.
Then the OKC Thunder squeezed an upset win against the strong Denver Nuggets. I really thought they were defeated there but SGA didn't give up and scored their last 4 points to take the lead.

And how about the Detroit Pistons finally wi... Nah never mind, just kidding.
The Milwaukee Bucks blew them out and Giannis had a good rest playing with the kids on the bench.

the LA Clippers are getting stronger and stronger. 7th winning streak. They are now in the 6th spot of the Western Conference. This team is getting scarier as every known name on their roster is contributing.

It's painful to watch this Pistons.

Well, the Pistons are one step closer to making NBA history. They need to lose 6 more games in a row, and then they'll break that 76ers record. Remarkably, the Pistons will have only one top opponent for the next 6 games(the Celtics), while the other 5 games will be against pretty average opponents. It seems like the Pistons have a pretty good schedule to win at least 1 game, but they look so hopeless that even teams like the Hawks, Nets, Raptors, and Jazz will beat them probably without much effort.

Well, hopefully they can get the record.  Grin
Too bad the other record chasing team, the spurs, won vs the Lakers to stop their 18 losses in a row. It was nice to have 2 teams chasing history with "great performances".

By the way, Ja Morant's suspension is almost over. The Grizz have a 6:18 record now so there is only 1 more game to wait and Morant will be eligible to get back on the court. I wonder if he will play right after the suspension ends or what the teams has in store for him. I hope he finally learned something from this. The next time he does something stupid they maybe give him a 1 year ban hammer, I wouldn't be surprised.

I see your point and that's true, he is already in the limelight, so it's much easier to complete the task when you know that there are many
eyes that are observing and watching you as a target.

So sad, but it's good to see that NBA is now doing their part. The way Draymond is acting gives justification that you can play the game with your dirty
way of playing without any conviction.

Knowing that there's already action coming from the league, it's time for Draymond to realized that with millions of people who are watching them, all
those bad things that players will do, create an impact, especially for the young audiences.

It's a need to be professional and not to let your emotion dominate to prevent unnecessary actions.

LoL. I just check the standings. What they did is extremely painful in the eyes for their franchise. I wonder how low does the ticket price when watching on their home court especially when they have a match against Spurs.

I bet they are competing against Spurs for getting the 1st draft pick for having this kind of terrible losing streak. Sometimes, I think the drafting system makes the team intentionally be bad for that season.  Cheesy

Miami Heat played a very good game again. Jimmy Butler is playing great again this year, I think we just saw his first game-winning Buzzer Beater of the season. It was great that he walked in without taking any risks and won the game with a shot without using a 3-point shot, the whole room stood up.
Chicago Bulls wanted to win the match in the last period, but unfortunately they lost the match with the last ball. Their performances in the last period were very good, but the teams had a hard time scoring points in the last 2 minutes

Very sad we have to see garbage posts like this one every day in here.
Is there something we can do about it?
I mean this is pure spam to collect money from the signature campaign, basically an insult for everyone reading.

As everyone can see, it's not even written well, sounds like google translate or some nonsense.
Looking at this users history basically all his posts look like this, and almost all are in some football league or sports in general and so on, "recapping" games that happened days ago.
And how these recaps look like we call know:

"They played well. The other team lost because they played not well enough. They must play better to win the next game"

How a "Legendary" can produce this kind of content is very questionable. I have my suspicions but yeah, guess we all have to keeping living with garbage posts in the sports/gambling section.

I think that Suspension is not going to fix the Draymond Green problem, and you can see the list just will continue, the hitting below the belt on LeBron James, the Stomping on Domantas Sabonis, the Headlock on Rudy Gobert, the latest Jusuf Nurkić, and the Fiasco over Jordan Poole, for sure Draymond Green deserves the ejection, suspension and fine, but we didn't see the real picture on why did Draymond Green retaliated like that, I think it will not stop if the NBA didn't give any punishments to the people that started it all even though it is just a faint action they make I think it is the cause of all the commotion that is happening the LeBron James incident were Bron walk over Draymond Green I think that is disrespectful, The Domantas Sabonis ankle lock that led to stomping, and the Rudy Gobert even though he is not trying to hurt Klay I think Rudy Gobert should stop his teammates and not other teammates and I think that is the one that got Draymond Green heated up and try to protect Klay, next is Jusuf Nurkić grabbing the Jersey of Green, that led to a retaliation swing, and lastly the Jordan Poole Fiasco as we all know Jordan Poole have said something to Draymond Green that led to that and we all know that Jordan Poole has some issues with his attitude,

I am saying all this because I think the NBA should also give credit to the people who started it all and not to the one who initiated the hurt even though the holding of Jersey is not that high I think Draymond just got irritated about it but one thing is for sure Draymond Green didn't initiates all of it,
So there's always the two sides of the story but it was just seen when Draymond Green is the one that seems to be the bad guy. I didn't know the other incidents that been done by him but it's true that these fines won't stop him.

I think that he should just stop being like that. It's an attitude problem that's gonna be hard to remove. Whoever goes first is a matter of fact but the actions that he also does doesn't make him a protector of his mates.

He's way just too physical and if there will be no heavier fines, this time, it's time for him to just stop being too aggressive with any contacts that's been done to him or to any of his teammates. Sometimes it's just too overreacting, maybe him or us fans.

I saw an interesting stat about the Lakers playing without their stars...  They are 0-2 now after the recent loss to San Antonio without Anthony Davis.  At the same time, they are 2-0 without LeBron James.  This certainly leads one to believe that Anthony Davis is important to the Lakers, maybe even moreso than LeBron James.  Interesting to note that in both scenarios they played the Spurs and even in the game they won (without LeBron James), they barely squeaked by with a win.  This makes me think the problems with the Lakers are less about talent, and more about motivation.  The win in the tournament also supports that.

Lebron is the one that motivates them and having a big man like Anthony Davis who is both dominant on the offensive and defensive ends of the floor is a big plus for them. Lebron cannot carry the team anymore. Sure, amazingly, he can do these things at his age but Father Time will still be undefeated.
I remember I said in this thread that they need to be healthy full blast if they want the other championship because one injury will cost them that trophy.
The NBA Cup was short so they can definitely try and win it but when it comes to a long battle in the playoffs with a race to 4 wins series and a hardcore defense, it will be difficult to keep a player healthy with so many things happening in the court.
LA Lakers is strong, I don't doubt that especially on the defensive end. Then, Austin Reaves stepped up his game but one of their two stars falling will mean the whole season for them. Another player must step up, Rui Hachimura did but they will need his 3-point shooting skills to start sinking in again. He played 34 minutes with 20 points but 0/5 in distance shots. Next, they need Vanderbilt to be fully healthy, he is still under restricted minutes but it could've been better if he could contribute on the defensive end.

The Boston Celtics are the first team to reach 20 wins this season by successfully and easily beating Orlando Magic and this will be a message for them and a chance to improve their play because there will be a higher chance that they could meet up in the NBA playoffs and the same scenario could happen unless they find a way to stop Tatum and Brown offense. Just like that, we are now a few months away from NBA all-stars week, and after that, the real game begins for the playoff teams.

Celtics beat Magic back to back. Magic was one of the thoughest teams in the East but Celtics show them they are not at same level. I see only Sixers as a competition for Celtics.
As for All-Stars, Tatum and Brown will definitely be in there, but I think Porzingis also should be in the discussion. His stats are pretty good lately.

Sometimes they got overshadowed by Lebron since he always stole the show that's why maybe it can motivate other to do more better because they know that they cannot take the credits once Lakers will have a great performance.

That's why maybe that's the reason they get good without Lebron and they are more better with Davis on the court. But guess this is just assumption and on other thoughts it will matter on how their coach rotate its player since they can be better if used well in good plays also right combination of players. We see how good they are on im season tournament and they just need to sustain that.

No offense to Warriors fans but that was a long time ago. The efficiency of Draymond Green in terms of defense way back during the Warriors rode to stardom isn't present now. Draymond Green is proven to be useless without the Splash brothers alongside the court. It does mean that he's not perfectly blend well to other Warriors players.

Regardless if he's going to be ban or not, the Warriors defense are just on usual and will just follow Kerr's mechanism. Regarding on that recent flagrant incident involving him, I really don't understand why he never changed since then lol. He's now becoming a veteran player at least he should show maturity on the court.

For sure Draymond Green deserves Punishment because of what he did with all of the fiasco he has recently, the Sabonis Stomping, the Gobert headlock, and the Nurkic's hitting, he really deserves it and I agree that he should be mature enough to accept all of those what the other players is doing against him and you are right as a veteran he should be the one to adjust with the situation,

But does that get him to accept all of those offensive things that the other players are doing, maybe? for me, the NBA should also see the little things that are happening as well,

The interesting thing to me about Draymond Green’s suspension is that it is indefinite. I can’t recall ever seeing the NBA do this type of suspension before. I think it’s a good thing as long as he doesn’t come back next week and I think it shows the league actually cares about his mental health a bit. I also think if they suspended him longer for the Gobert choking, this may have been avoided.

For some reason, people are now pointing out the mental health of Draymond Green because I think many just want Draymond Green to not return as the Golden State Warriors are still in the 5th spot of the most defensive play a team in the NBA, and for sure if the defense of the Warriors gets depleted because of Draymond Green's suspension I think the other teams would surely like that to happen,

Yes, so far celtics and Sixers the teams that are showing some great consistency, but don't count the Bucks yes, especially the Miami Heat as they were the team that made suprises last playoffs. With Jimmy Butler's being healthy, they are still a big threat even if they will not end up with a good standing, remember they were the defending ECF champions.

Looks like the Warriors doesn't miss Draymond at all, since he was out they were already in a 2 winning streak.

And because of his absence, this opens up more playing opportunity for Trayce Jackson-Davis, who has been playing well in their win against the TrailBlazers. Though I don't want to get myself too excited on the win since I know myself that Trailblazers is not a playoff team, but the Warriors despite Curry was struggling, his teammates were able to step up, specially his splash brother Klay who scored 28 points that game.
