The "highlight" of the night was Detroit in Boston, almost getting the upset of the season after leading by 19 at halftime. But no surprise they fell apart in the 3rd and somehow got OT before falling for the 28th time in a row.

If they ended the streak in Boston, that would have been something and another funny story.
But lucky they didn't and the streak is alive.

Go on guys, keep making history.  Grin

Almost... but didn't happen. I had a feeling at the start of third quarter Pistons would lose this again. When Bogdanovic made the game go to overtime I thought maybe they have another chance but their overtime performance was terrible. It would've been an ironic win over Boston, which is unbeaten at home but the losing streak continues. They are not playing that badly but they still can't win. It has become a psychological thing. I think San Antonio is worse than them as a team, but even they have 5 wins.

That could have been the story fo the day if Detroit were able to beat the number 1 team in the East. They start strong, which is very rare to see since Boston are very dominant at home, but like other bad teams, they don't have the consistency and they would melt in the most important quarters.

I'm even surprise the game went to OT. Boston were good in defending the paint, but in that sequence, they allow an offensive rebound from Bogdan that brough the game to OT. But as soon as they were in OT, that's extra 5 minutes, so it's easy to tell who will win since Detroit already loss their energy.

Better luck next time for them!

I was an idiot. My instincts told me to take that +14.5 and I didn't follow it. I had the feeling that the Pistons will try their best to show that they are not a trash team and they can somehow prove it today.
Well, they blew their 19-point lead at halftime and I actually thought that would be their way to motivate themselves that they can finally win a game.
But, the Boston Celtics are just too much for them. Tatum went nuts, Porzingis too. When these guys get their rhythm it's difficult to stop them. And the Pistons piled up a lot of turnovers which is a recipe for disaster even though they had a good lead.

Dallas Mavericks exhaustion showed at their game against the Timberwolves and without Luka Doncic it will be difficult to win. I like the resiliency though, they kept the game as close as possible even without their star players.

No Ja Morant, yes problem for the Grizzlies again.
They were blown out by the former champions Denver Nuggets. Nikola Jokic posted another triple-double in his career and it was raining three-pointers in Ball Arena. Jokic played for 30 minutes only and they had a lot of rest. They may still play on good spirits later against the OKC Thunder.

That was a game in Boston tonight. The Celtics almost got caught lacking as the Detroit Pistons took them into overtime. I thought they were going to beat the odds and bring and end to their losing streak but tonight wasn’t meant to be the night as they couldn’t hold on in overtime. They ended up losing 122-128 to the relief of Celtics fans.

They choked and ended up adding a loss to their historical losing streak this year and that was really a good game if they were able to finish it well but they weren't good enough to get the win from the Boston Celtics. now their next games are meant to strengthen their strategy because it seems like they are doing good this time but just ran out of luck because they were up against the best team in the NBA currently. Maybe they are aiming for the number one pick as well so that they won't really mind about their current losing streak because they have a huge plan for the next season.

They deserve to get the number 1 pick so it will help improve their line up. However, if that is their intension, that could result to losing viewership especially if they are playing against a bad team as people will not be interested in watching it. Pistons were almost there, they just couldn't make the right decision in the end, and to be competitive like that against a strong team, I think sooner they'll be able to break their losing streak.

Right, it's obvious that they will get the number 1 pick for next year, so it's not the question. The question is that they don't want to continue with this losing streak because it's frustrating to everyone around the team. They almost end their losing streak though, but with Boston a top team and the game in their homecourt, they will do what matters, that is to win regardless of who they are facing and what is the score.

I haven't check who's the next opponent of Pistons, but if it is a team that is below .500 and the game is going to be in their homecourt, maybe they will be very competitive and end this losing streak.

I just read an article saying the Miami Heat were working on trade negotiations to get Kawhi Leonard from the Los Angeles Clippers.  With how well the Clippers are playing as of late I can't imagine they would want to break up the team now, unless something is going on behind the scenes.  Kawhi looks as happy as I've ever seen him lately and the team is winning a lot of games lately...  I pasted a link to the article below.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nba/nba-trade-rumors-miami-heat-negotiates-for-kawhi-leonard-with-la-clippers-potential-deal-involving-kyle-lowry-and-duncan-robinson/ar-AA1m9KXY

What do you think?  Are the Clippers ready to break up the Paul George and Kawhi Leonard experiment already?
No, I don't see this happening. It's only my opinion though.

The Clippers are playing very well this season, and they already have the momentum that they need since they acquired James Harden. I mean why break the core of the team if they're playing better already. We are seeing a healthy Kawhi Leonard this season, and it's the first he has been after years of that sh*tty load management.

I don't see the Clippers breaking the core knowing that all of them are healthy. It's just my opinion though because we know that anything can happen in the NBA including trading one of their superstars out of nowhere. Cheesy
The Clippers will have to make a decision to break that core sooner or later since Kahwi's contract will end pretty soon so the Heat is making that early move. I also don't think they'll get him but that's because their offer is a bit low for a player his caliber. They may need to add one more player before the Clippers can take them seriously.

I haven't check who's the next opponent of Pistons, but if it is a team that is below .500 and the game is going to be in their homecourt, maybe they will be very competitive and end this losing streak.

They'll be challenge by the Toronto Raptors on their next game, you can check it here https://www.nba.com/pistons/

Although Toronto is below .500 (12W- 18L), but this team is a playoff team, as much as the Detroit Pistons wanted to win, Toronto is also aiming to win to improve their ranking as currently they are ranked number 12, so if they'll stay at that rank, they will not be able to participate in the play-in.

He still needs to pay back the fans even they are trying to earn the number 1 pick, as if ever they succeed to sign a number 1 pick but there's no
fans to support, then there's nothing for this team.

Either the owner sells his share and allow another owner to gamble with the fate of this team or try to add more money for investing with the future of this
team and try to land good players to help the team to win a game.

Not a good sign in a fan's perspectives, if they will continue doing the same outcome over and over without pleasing the fans.

It’s telling that the Los Angeles Clippers started out the season so poorly and now have one of the best records in the league while the Phoenix Suns were expected to dominate the league and are struggling to maintain .500. It goes to show that talent alone won’t get you to the top. You need time to learn to work together, and the Suns haven’t gotten that yet.

Agreed.  It seems that something is missing on the Suns.  They have plenty of talent but can't seem to put it all together all the time.  Not sure if it's a bench thing or just something with the starters that hasn't geled..  I haven't watched them too much but Beal has been out a lot of those games right?  That should help them when he gets going.

I think Boston will win against Toronto today. It was an interesting match last night and although they fell behind by a long margin, they managed to turn the match around. They have learned from mistakes and learned not to underestimate the opponent. Celtics, who are doing perfect at home, don't want to break this series. The Raptors aren't bad, but they're not at the level of the Celtics. Porziņģis stepped up a gear. If Tatum and Brown play as usual, this match won't be difficult for them.

Maybe they really need to work out some things needed to consider especially at the moment they really in bad condition knowing that their roster is filled with talented guys. We don't see yet how their big three perform together but I guess they need to fix their rotation if they want to be placed on better spot to highly compete with other talented stack team. Durant is showing frustration to the team and I think its not helping them but rather as a star player in the team he should motivate his teammates to perform more better. Beal presence might be a big help for Phoenix when he came back so I guess this will be though for them knowing that they are struggling so much this season.

Those 2 Boston Celtics players you have mentioned that are key responsible for their rally win against Detroit Pistons recently are listed as officially ruled out on their game against the Toronto Raptors. Jayson Tatum, who scored 31 big points last game, and Kristap Porzingis, who scored 35 big points also in their last game, are suffering with left ankle sprain and left ankle sprain respectively.

Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday was also listed as QUESTIONABLE but now changed to AVAILABLE. But I doubt these two can play at their 100% performance as they are dealing with low back contusion and right elbow sprain.

Raptors have to take advantage of these.

It was an important game for the Pistons. I mean, if the Pistons had beaten the Celtics, they would have proved to themselves and the fans that they are not a hopeless team. But as we can see, the miracle didn't happen.
It's noteworthy the Pistons players were pretty good in the first half, but they were as bad as possible in the third quarter. I wonder what the hell the Pistons players were doing during halftime that their performance became so bad.

The Wizards finally won a game as they beat the Brooklyn Nets 110-104. Funny enough, it was the Wizards bench that won the game for them. Jordan Poole had a terrible game with 5 points and a +/- of -16 which was the worst on the team. Maybe they should try playing the bench more and letting the starters figure out why they’re playing so badly.

What a great performance from the Philadelphia 76ers. Tyrese Maxey with 42 freaking points. Wow! Shocked He played 41 minutes, it's so good to be young.
Despite not having Embiid they won both of their games on the road and their bench stepping up their games. Marcus Morris with the 4-point play dagger that put a gap in the lead and made it a two-ball possession. But all of that is also because of PatBev not giving up on the play.
Fred VanVleet was also cooking on that game.
Sadly, they will be playing back-to-back and tomorrow they will be against the Chicago Bulls. But who knows, they might still win this one if their energy is the same as it is against the Rockets.

Portland Trail Blazers are now trying to get their revenge against the Spurs who are Wembanyama-less. They were defeated yesterday with Wemby scoring 30 points and now the Blazers are blowing out the Spurs with an almost 30-point lead in the 3rd quarter. (almost 4th at the time of writing)

How about the Celtics? No Jayson Tatum, no Kristaps Porzingis, no problem. Brown, White, and Jrue are enough to defeat the Raptors. But of all the players in there, Luke Kornet has the spotlight on him. He helped a lot on both the offensive and defensive end of the floor. That's a big win for the Celtics to continue their winning streak. It's now on the 5th win.

I didn't watch the game but after checking Boston manage to escape and win by 2 points, really hard to win without your scoring machine but
Jrue and Jaylen both are also a go to guy who can produce numbers if needed.

Congrats to those who back them as the full force of Toronto gives them a pain in the ass game not to let it as easy as it can be.

Hoping to see both Tatum and Porzingis back and healthy as the team really doing well if all are active and in good conditions.

Celtics really have a very good squad depth on their roster, and that's why you guys like Luke Kornet, Sam Hauser and Pritchard come into the starting lineup or off the bench and make huge impact, and their latest Portugese center Neemsia Queta have been a solid addition to the team too.

If Celtics are able to reduce their extreme dependence on 3 pointer shots, and find other ways like driving into perimiter more and geting more point from the paint area, they'll be a team to be in the league this season and I'll tip them as my favorite for the championship this year, provided they are able to keep their core players fit and avoid long term injuries that could deter their ambitions.

I agree with this, they should not be too depending on 3 point shooting, they have the size, so they can attack. Tatum and Brown, these two can create their own shots, and Holiday as well. I guess they are a different team this season, a much more improve team, and they have a good chance of winning a championship this season as long as both Tatum and Brown are consistent.

And with that, they are 10:1 underdog against the Boston Celtics in this game, -15.5 initial line of betting. I haven't seen this kind of huge line, maybe except in the Olympics or maybe some Asian game. But now the line is getting worst for the Pistons that it's really ridiculous to bet on them.

Not just the coaching staff though, they need to change their mentality and think that they can win night in night out. The thing is that when their opponents take a lead, they don't have the heart to chase it and make a comeback.

For sure even though Cade Cunningham had a great game against the Boston Celtics, it was not enough, and because of the continued downfall of the Detroit Pistons their credibility in making it to the playoffs is now gone to nothing and many don't want to bet on them anymore as it is a risk involving yourself and risking in trusting the Piston to win in a game but for sure maybe with the teams near the bottom they could have a chance as an underdog but against the Boston Celtics they can not win against the Boston even if that game was so close and next game was against the Toronto Raptors for sure they may have a chance but still many will surely doubt this,

Lakers will host Hornets. That should be an easy game for Lakers. Anthony Davis is having a good season, the last time he dropped 40 but they lost to Celtics. Now they should play easier game and won't have too much trouble. LeBron is making near triple-double stats as well.
Nuggets will host Grizzlies. They are tired, coming from Pelicans away game which finished in overtime. I believe Nuggets will win this one if they can lock Morant.

Right now LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the two that are keeping the Los Angeles Lakers together, for sure if these two can not play for the team or are injured the Los Angeles Lakers will surely struggle to get a win, well this is a hard time for the Los Angeles Lakers making their way for the Playoffs as they are right now even though they have won the In Season tournament the playoffs is a different goal and if the Lakers would only rely on LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they can not make it into the finals for sure,

A few more weeks before the trade deadline. It seems like the Lakers know their chances against the top teams as they are pursuing trades aggressively. So according to the odds, the Lakers are likely to acquire Dejounte Murray from Atlanta. I don't know what assets the Lakers can offer but the team has a decent roster except that they lost their future first draft picks already in the previous trades.

Some people on social media are saying Lebron should be part of the trade which is impossible. It's not even a surprise if it's Lebron pressuring the management to acquire other stars or better talents while he is still playing at a high level.

For some reason Fans just want the Los Angeles Lakers to be good again, and after winning the In-Season Tournament this year, they want the Lakers to continue their winning and go into the Finals again for sure, just like what they did last season, but they will need to trade certain key players for this to happen, well fans just wants the best for the Los Angeles Lakers but getting LeBron James out of the Lakers is really impossible as James now is still profitable for their business and for the team while LeBron James is still playing like his old self so it is a real big win for the Los Angeles Lakers,
